Watchtober Day 6: Puppet Master 2

Last year i watched the original Puppet master and the worms started eating my brain. But i waited a whole year to watch the second because... well its nice to have something to look forward too.

Honestly tulon did great at facilitating the pupets but im not here for zombies im here to see these little freaks run around and kill some guys.

Rip drill head and leach woman whatever your official names are.

I hope this franchise dosent get more horny in the next installment.

Uh puppets are very stranger, but tulon is motivated by his fear of death. The way hes manipulating things is pretty web...

At the end of the day id say this is probably stranger overall just with elements of the other fears.

I love watching 80s movies because the women are always so hot. Like that androgynous 80s baggy clothes cinched in the right places, shaggy shoulder length hair, kind of masc and I WANT her gender.

Plot

A group of paranormal investigators moves into a supposedly haunted hotel to check on rumors. After their medium disappears and a crew member gets killed by a bizarre little puppet an enigmatic man with bandages over his face shows up and proclaims to be the true owner of the hotel and that there is nothing shady going on and nobody is allowed to go into his room. Meanwhile little puppets are killing people left and right, i wonder who the puppet master is!

Opinion

Obviously goes without saying that this movie is a huge pile of shit BUT if you can see the humor in the most suspicious man on earth awkwardly mingling with normal people and also talking to these adorable little puppets which keep getting thrown on actors who then have to pretend they're being attacked... then you can have a time with this. It's not really a good slasher movie because the kills are very fast and boring and short, you really have to watch this like a muppet movie and get joy from these cute little guys and the weird crazy scientist who is totally not evil or shady or anything. Just hanging out. There is something deeply wrong with my brain which is why i thought this movie was adorable.
