See, all I do is writing about *my* experiences, and things that actually have a matter to my own life. So yes, I'm self-centric.

But again, I shouldn't be surprised. If "not talking" about something is bc you think they aren't human.

This is 10 days old Kay. His parents hid with him as their house was burnt and their friends and family were murdered. When the shooting got quiet, they opened the door of the smoke-filled room and placed him on the window pane to let him breathe. Then, when the shooting got back to the area, they closed the door and got back to pretend to be dead.

(When I was 17, I hugged my 4 yo sister under my grandma's staircase, as we waited for the explosion.)

Now, this is pretty old - my area, personally, wasn't bombed in a while.

The area I grew up in, where some of my family still lives, can't say the same.

But hi, it's all depending on the context, as was said.

mmmmmmm i wanna add to thisssss!! a lot of this is unrelated and more about mephone4 and mepad but bear with me here

okay so!! yes mephone4 is so much less advanced. he's been shown to be completely dysfunctional at the first hint of a virus or his battery dying, and his screen is just not that bright. mepad however! mepad's screen is bright as hell all the time, even at night when he saw marshmallow. he's never shown being tired or even close to such, and always acts like he's at full battery!

i'd like to note also something i noticed about the screens - in mephone4's flashbacks, when cobs was still paying attention to him as a project, his screen was brighter and there was something a lot more energetic about him. (the screen could have very well been just an animation difference but i'm gonna use it where i can!) meanwhile as we see him outside of that, there's a charm of innocence completely lost. mepad on the other hand has no such difference and since the first appearance has been shown as a virtually static character. this could tie into how he was built and his functionality. while this is HEAVILY stereotypical, cobs more than likely made him that way so the changes and fluidity of what we see as more human emotion don't get in the way of how he functions as a product.

now, all these differences can tie into so many things. BUT. before i have anything else to say about those two, i want to trace back to mephone3gs! he's obviously much much less advanced than the other two but has so so so much to tell just from his few minutes of screentime. his cracks infer the abuse from cobs because he couldn't/can't perform certain functions or tasks. the loop of the same thing over and over until the battery dying show how badly he was hurt and how bad his OS was in the first place.

NOW. from this we can infer one of two things (or both). we could say cobs began putting screen protectors on his creations to prevent permanent damage from outbursts/abuse OR that he put the 'delete memories' function in so he could do whatever the hell he wants with no consequences to the device.

my point in all this is to say - the differences between mephone4 and mepad are so incredible BECAUSE of mephone3gs being the starting point. without that, cobs wouldn't have pulled half the shit he did with mephone4. thank you for coming to my tedtalk :]

Okk so uhh, I know I’m like a few years late, but I feel like Mepad didn’t get affected bc he was a bit more new and advanced than mephone4, sooo he faces less problems. While mephone4 ain’t that advanced. So the loud sound was more affective to him, as glitches and stuff were happening.

a few minutes ago my sister came up to me with her american girl doll and told me she made knee braces ("like the ones you wear") and compression gloves for her. she told me that she wanted her to be able to walk without hurting so she could be as happy as i was when i first got my knee braces. this kid is 8 years old and has now made mobility aids for all her dolls; a wheelchair, a few crutches, more braces and everything in between.

she's 8 years old and most adults that have been through college aren't smart enough to be as kind-hearted to everyone like she is.

and i couldn't be more proud.
