“parasitic-garden-that-whispers-with-the-voice-of-the-woman-he-clearly-murderd-and-sort-of-turns-you-into-a-tree” yes, that is murdered spelled incorrectly, yes that is directly from the script

From what I understand, it appears Dr. Samuel Webber murdered his ex-wife because she'd moved on! still has the same surname but she has moved out. So yeah, this guys NOT okay, then he decides to get scratched up in a garden!

Said garden is "growing wild around the ruins of some bombed-out church." that smells of "an almost overwhelming sickly-sweet rot", and he keeps smelling jasmine.

One of my notes for this episode is "gradual acceptance, embraced end"

my favourite part of this statement, a part that really cements the Strangeness and Acceptance (man really said If i'm gonna become Tree i'm gonna Do It Right);

"my skin is pulling away nicely like blanched tomatoes. My legs will be nonresponsive soon. I need to finalise my position before then ... The roots have freed themselves from the weight of my meat as it sags from my bones and drops to the dirt."

directly followed by

"No greenfly or other parasites. I remain quite healthy."

because yes, that's exactly what I'd describe as Quite Healthy....

Sounds like the tattooing process was INCREDIBLY painful, but there's no aftercare required! That's okay, more time for self-mutilation that way!

Also, the only memorable thing about Ink5oul being their tattoo? "an absolutely gorgeous floral serpent design running up their arm and into their neck that was so vivid it looked ready to slither off their skin and onto the chair." Real Looking Snake, tell me your secrets.

Hungry Object that will make your performances GREAT... just gotta pay the price. Your options are:

Don't Feed (everyone who hears your music will get Very Violent, this may lead to eating eyes and the peeling of flesh)

Feed It Yourself (ouchie fingers, blood everywhere, not ideal)

Outsource (so a couple music students go missing, no biggie!)

So! some context for my incident posts!

I'm gonna be doing one for every incident a member of the OIAR does in the podcast, all being tagged with #ProtocolArchived

It's mostly as a way to tag everything for each individual statement so I can look up a tag and see every post it matches, they're not gonna be full of in-depth thoughts just the things I think are important. This means character names, locations, and the main factors of weirdness.

All the episodes out so far (17) I've already noted down this information in a spreadsheet, it's just a matter of typing it up and posting here. (queuing them up for now while there's a back log haha) I also plan to separately note down anything important from the office audios, what I'll be referring to as the pre- and post- incident parts of the episode.

This is all very much a work in progress that I'm figuring out as I go, but so far the other main tags I'm using to separate posts are #ratseesthings (anything I notice about the pictures or scripts etc) and #ratrambles (for stuff like this...)

Now, time to get back to typing these up.
