What's with everybody's obsession with the batboys?

Honestly anon, not sure.

I think it’s probably just a matter of preference or sentimental attachment, but personally, I’m a tiny bit tired of them. No hate, I really enjoyed them at one point too, but I’m ready to move on to something new now.

And if I’m being critical, I feel like many see them as amazing because the narrative told us they are amazing, when, in all honesty, the Night Court powers aren’t really that impressive. Ok, ngl, Rhys is kinda cool in this regard, but he’s like the only one? The others are mostly warriors, no?

I’m ready to experience something different after 3.5 books in Velaris.

There is so much potential to explore in this world (literally every single court has intriguing, different powers) and the coolest things happening in the Night Court are being done by the once-human females who don’t even have Night Court powers.

There are characters who can manipulate fire, ice, light, wind etc, why are people even asking for another bat boy book when there is so much else to explore!

No shade. To each their own, but yeah, I’m ready for something else!
