Не знаю какая именно переплюнула в количестве. Принца, каждый раз из-за смены ноута. ГТА, практически по той же причине, и застревании на миссиях. Нужно это как-нибудь исправить.

We thought for a long time how the vest would be closed: leather loops, eyelets, hooks... 🤔 In the end, we chose a pair of decorative loops (which had been in our Workshop for 11 years and waited for the chance) with a pattern and blackening, through which a leather cord was passed. But having studied the game lore a little, you can draw very valuable conclusions. This will be especially useful if the quality of the references does not allow for a very detailed consideration. 🙂 So on the one hand, you definitely won’t choose expensive fabrics and decorations for some vagabond, and for the royal person you will not choose simple textures and “rough” finishes...and on the other hand, you will learn many interesting nuances, thanks to which you can safely choose complex embroidery for the decoration of a simple suit of the Strider (Aragorn, “Lord of the Rings”) or sewing from pieces for the costume of the Prince (“Prince of Persia” 2008).▫️ Since we have to make the Prince’s full costume according to the game model, we need to choose not only various hides for the main parts of the costume, but also fabrics for clothes and accessories. Let's start with them! 🙂 Perhaps one of the most striking details of the Prince’s costume is his turban with long “straps” turning into a kind of scarf. This detail was designed as a symbol of luxury. The fact is that such bright fabrics in Persia were a sign of wealth, since dyes for fabrics were very expensive. At the reference, weaving is clearly visible, so we choose linen as the material.▫️ To determine the color, it is worth looking at the history of the use of natural dyes.▫️ The most widespread dye in the East, giving a blue color, has always been indigo. It is obtained from indigofer plants containing the dye indigotine, for example indigofer dyeing Indigofera tinctoria in the east (in India and Persia). We have told you a lot about fabrics, but have not yet said anything about the choice of leather. 😅 Actually, one of the reasons why we are so interested in this project is the opportunity to work with exotic leather, moreover, in such rather non-trivial items.😉 Looking at the reference, it is not difficult to guess that you need to use snake or crocodile hides for the vest and cape. When choosing between them, we took into account the approximate size of the scales and the nature of the pattern, so in the end our choice fell on python. 🐍 We chose large hides of about 4 m each, because on such hides there are places with both small and very large scales, which will allow us to create a varied pattern on the vest and cape. We will definitely tell you more about this when we publish the process of working. 😉 As for the color scheme... We had to choose two colors that would look good together and not visually merge. With the cape, everything was more or less simple, because in all references it is obviously brown. 🙂 The size of the scales varies from very large on the side to very small on the shoulders, so 4-meter hides should give us the required variety of textures. ☺️ For the vest it was necessary to choose a slightly more contrasting shade. So we opted for a sand-gray color.
