Prince Naseem Hamed made his US debut in a barn-burner against Kevin Kelley at Madison Square Garden on December 19, 1997, successfully defendng his WBO featherwight title in a wild bout.

The Brit wore leopard print Adidas trunks with black and white trim (including an interesting Adidas 3-stripe pattern along each side and across his seat), and a black waistband with PRINCE in white on the front and “adidas” along the back.

He wore red Cleto Reyes gloves:

In a valiant losing effort, Kevin Kelley went with hunter green velvet No Fear trunks with gold waistband and gold lightning bolts along each front thigh.

He had KELLEY in white on a black pacard along his waistband and NO FEAR along the back.

Interesting move by EA Sports to go with patches for each butt-cheek. Highly unusual.
