The Prince Edward Theatre is one of the most popular London theatre with finest Art Deco theatres. It is positioned on Old Compton Street in Soho, just behind Leicester Square. In the year 1929, theatre was constructed by Griggs and Son and designed by Edward Stone and was opened in April 1930. The theatre made its debut with a production of Rio Rita, a musical comedy by Harry Tierney. The theatre was transformed into dance and cabaret hall in the year 1935.
