Think I've said this before but the thing that really gets me about Yuri On Ice is that it's so much kinder than the world we live in. Russia isn't violently homophobic. Men's figure skating isn't homophobic. The Russian coach won't let his youngest star do quads until he's old enough to do them safely. Just things that should be true but aren't yet.
#Yuri on ice#like the moment i knew it was a better world was when yakov told yurio he had to wait to do quads#so many skaters but especially the eteri school of skaters get burnt out and injured so fucking quickly by their coaches#17 year olds should not be 'past their prime' with major injuries#and just knowing what happened to denis ten makes otabek mean. so much.#like obviously he was still living when the show was made but in retrospect#there's a lot of feelings there

ok last link for the day (i'm just full of info i wanna share tonight apparently lmao) but this is a GREAT video explaining the bengals cap space, cash, and the ways they can realistically sign tee, trey, and ja'marr long term this offseason. AND still have plenty left over to spend in free agency.
(ignore the incredibly cheesy obnoxious intro. there are many things i like about this guy but also many things i hate lmao.)
