FTCCI and Hari Chandana IAS Unite for Ayush Vision 2030: Pioneering Holistic Healthcare in Telangana
All is well ? to “All Well”.. a journey to remove the ‘is’,In a historic departure from its century-long focus on trade, industry, and commerce, the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) is venturing into the realm of healthcare. Ayush Vision 2030, a groundbreaking initiative, signifies a paradigm shift led by FTCCI in collaboration with Director of the Department of AYUSH, Hari Chandana IAS, aiming to ensure Quality and Affordable Health for all in Telangana.
The recent meeting, graced by Hari Chandana IAS, Mr. Shekar Agarwal, and Meela Jayadev, Chair of the Health Care and Disaster Management Committee and President of FTCCI, respectively, brought together prominent doctors from Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. This diverse group gathered to lay the foundation for a transformative healthcare initiative.
Hari Chandana IAS, in her keynote address, offered profound insights and suggestions to materialize Ayush Vision 2030. She applauded FTCCI’s visionary approach, stressing the importance of a holistic perspective in healthcare. “When we think of the holistic well-being of a person, we move much forward in integrating these systems,” she remarked.
Addressing the challenge of integrating various healthcare systems, Hari Chandana IAS advocated for a continuum. “Preventively, we can use AYUSH; in emergencies and for powerful medication, we can turn to Allopathy. Post-restoration, traditional systems can rejuvenate and regenerate,” she explained.
While acknowledging the commendable efforts of the Telangana government in healthcare, Hari Chandana IAS underscored existing gaps that strain patients’ finances during emergencies. She praised the government’s health schemes, such as KCR Kit, and urged a focus on developing standards and ensuring the efficacy of medicines to safeguard traditional systems.
The director emphasized the importance of authenticity in drug production and the standardization of Ayush medicines. Activating existing wellness centers and referral hospitals was envisioned to ensure that access to Ayush benefits reaches every individual, even in the most remote locations.
Hari Chandana IAS proposed integrating Ayush into school curricula, emphasizing the benefits for geriatric care and suggesting the establishment of geriatric centers across district headquarters — a crucial part of the Ayush mission.
Digitalization, according to Hari Chandana IAS, could bridge the gap, connecting individuals with practitioners and government Ayush facilities, making healthcare accessible. The idea of Me-sevas as diagnostic access points and communication channels was also introduced.
Discussions on clinical establishment regulation counsel regulations and insurance coverage for Ayush treatment systems demonstrated a commitment to comprehensive healthcare.
In this laudable endeavour, the collaboration between FTCCI, Ayush, and the dynamic leadership of Hari Chandana IAS stands as a beacon for holistic well-being. The noble cause aims to impact the four crore individuals in Telangana as the first step, extending ambitiously to the 140 crores of the Indian population and, ultimately, the global community. FTCCI’s Ayush Vision 2030, under the able guidance of Hari Chandana IAS, is not just a vision — it’s a transformative journey toward a healthier and more vibrant society.
Ultimately it is not Allopathy or any other rather #hoistic #wellbeing of Human beings above all. Accessible, Affordable and Crisp is the mantra for us.
From being well to well being it is one step at a time towards a healthy happy heart full life!
