I love canon divergent unplanned pregnancy AUs. I know a lot of you guys in the Olicity fandom love them as well. I wanted to make this post to make it easier for us to find more that we haven’t read before, or want to read again! 

NOTE: This does NOT include any S7 pregnancy fics that are in line with Olicity’s canon pregnancy. I also want to clarify that these are in particular CANON-DIVERGENT AUs, not full-on AUs. Just say it - Chapter 3

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2

Nathan entered. Owen's looked like he was on fire.

"What are you doing here?"

"Owen, I need to see her. Please... don't make this more difficult than it already is."

"She has just come back, she is fragile right now... she needs peace and quiet. She doesn't need to be forced simply because you need to feel better for what you've done."

"I'll wait here. I don't want to force anyone. If she wants to see me, I'll go inside, if she doesn't I'll just stay here."

Owen didn't answer. He just got up and went to his sister's room.

"Hey, Meg, can I came in?"

"That's ok. I'll be fine."

"Meg... I have to ask you something."

"Nathan is here and wants to see me."

"How do you know?!"

"I heard his voice. Look, O, I know what he did, I know that you blame him for that, I know you. I was so angry at him that day, but when you almost lose all you have, even your life, you consider that all the anger, all the hate, it's just something that makes you lose the important moments in your life. I lost a lot of time. I don't want to lose more time feeling those things. I want to forget and I want to be happy, or I want to at least try. I'm not saying I'll marry him. But I want to hear what he has to say."

"Ok." It's the only word that could come out of Owen's mouth, before he got up to go out and let Nathan in.

"Wait. I saw you have a wedding band on your finger... Are you married?"

"Yeah... I am."

"And where is she? I want to meet her!"

"It's a long story. She was here with me before you got up but... she went away. We have some problems at the moment."

Megan looked at him with questioning eyes. "You know that what I said just now it's not only for me right? Be happy, Owen. If it's something you can solve, fix it! Time flys and at the end it's better if you pass it with the people you love."

"I don't know if we can fix this. I don't know if I should put aside all I want again for a woman. I'm so tired of waiting."

"What are we talking about?"

"I want a baby."

"And does she?"

"She said she wanted a family with me, she said she wanted 5 children with me and we tried for a bit. Then she thought she was pregnant and she did a pregnancy test. It was negative and after that nothing was the same. She said she didn't want a baby and left from our house."

"I'm sure she has some reason for making that decision."

"She had a baby a few years ago. And he died."

"That's a good reason to be scared, Owen."

"I know. I'll get Nathan."

"Ok. But call her too." Owen nodded, going out.

Amelia drove the few hours between the hospital, one hand on the wheel and one on her protruding bump. She was almost 5 months pregnant now and it was getting bigger everyday. She never had an ultrasound, she was too scared, but every day she took the prenatal pills. She loved that child, she was only too scared of reliving the worst day of her life, the day when Addison took that ultrasound, but she knew she couldn't wait too much longer. She was just not ready yet. Not ready to lose that little bit of joy that she felt when she thought about that little bundle of love that should be in her arms in a few months. The only thing she needed now was work, so she could focus on something else that was not her marriage and her fear.

She drove to the Grey-Sloan. The place was still a mess after the explosion, but the fire was gone and the patients were in the undamaged areas of the hospital or already sent to Seattle Pres.

When she arrived, she spotted April in the ER, writing on a chart.

"Kepner, what can I do? I need something to do."

"Weren't you with Owen?"

April spotted the sadness in her eyes at the mention of her friend, she was trying to keep her face cold, but her eyes could only state the truth.

"I was."

"Ok..." April looked at her with an empathetic smile. "You can go check on that woman. She had a general surgery two days ago and she fell down the stairs."

"On it." She turning around and was walking in the direction April was indicating.

"Oh Shepherd, she is pregnant." April said continuing updating her chart, not knowing what that meant for Amelia.

Amelia froze for a moment, then she thought, "It's just work. It's not about you. Just read those scans".

Amelia didn't even change into her scrubs and hurried into the patient room. Meredith was already in there checking with her surgical wand when she spotted Arizona coming out.

"Good morning Mrs. Donovan, I'm Dr. Shepherd, a neurosurgeon. Can I give you a normal neurological exam?"

"Two doctors already checked on me today... why not the third!?" said the woman, smiling.

Amelia got near the bed and began her check up, trying to focus on the patient and not on the surprised look on Meredith's face.

"Ok. The exam went well. I want to order a TAC to be sure."

"Is that good for the baby, I want him to be fine!"

"Don't worry...he will not be harmed. We only need your head."

"Ok then."

"I'll see if the machine is free."

So Amelia went out to check on her pad and Meredith followed her.

"So?!?"

"So what??" Amelia said, not even looking at her. Her eyes were fixed on the pad.

"How is Megan? Is she awake? And what are you doing here?"

"Too many questions. They said she's fine but I didn't see her awake so I can't tell."

"Is Owen still there? And Nathan?"

"Mer I don't know."

"But you were there!"

"I was. That's the important word. I'm not there anymore so... I DON'T KNOW!"

She turned and ran away, then opened the first supply closed she found. She closed the door and then sat on the floor when the tears were already flowing from her eyes. Why she can't just work? Why do all the people need to remember why she wasn't with her husband? She heard the door's handle being pulled down and the door opening, but she just continued crying with her face on her legs.

"Meredith, I really don't want to talk... please, leave me alone."

"I'm not Meredith but you will have to explain to her why you treated her like crap with no reason. Now, will you tell me why you are hiding in here crying? Or will you just use the pregnancy hormones as an excuse?"

Hearing the last sentence shocked her. She didn't tell anyone.

"Alex, how..."

"Why do all the woman in this hospital want to hide a pregnancy? You can hide it from your stupid husbands, but not from me! I'm a pediatric surgeon, they literally pay me for this!"

"You know why I'm hiding it."

"I know." He said and then he sat near her and put his arm around her shoulders. She leaned on his chest and continued her desperate sobbing, wetting all of his scrub top.

Slowly she calmed and he talked again.

"You have to tell him, you know that right?"

"Yes. But I'm not ready."

"He will be thrilled, you know that. And in this moment he need something good to happen, he needs you. Why you are not there?"

"I ran away... well, I threw up in front of him and then went away. Maybe he doesn't need me: he has his blonde friend there to comfort him."

"A blonde friend? Really?"

"Yes. She was one of Megan's doctor I think... she came with her."

"Is she Teddy?"

"I don't know her name. I only know that he was hugging her... blonde, tall, slim..."

"That's Teddy for sure."

"Teddy as in Teddy Altman?"

"Yes. She is Owen's best friend."

"Really? What did I do?" She said putting her hand in her hair.

"He needs you!"

"I have to go get that patient ready for the TAC..."

"Call him."

"I don't think I can. I'm too embarrassed for how I left."

"He will forgive you. And when you see him, tell him. You will never be ready.... Just say it!"
