Despite being similar in looks, the two of them are very different. In Jack's 'story' Tiger is kinda the main antagonist, even though they work together for a while. Tiger is the only other shock trooper Jack reconnects with after the Cascade at Black Mesa.

Jack is reckless, impulsive, and stubborn; usually opting for a cowboy-like style of leadership and angry outbursts when something doesn't go his way.

Tiger, on the other hand, is very strict and determined. While they also enjoy the thrill of battle, it prefers strategy and planning over going in blind. Tiger can get just as angry as Jack; but it lets their anger fester on the inside and takes it out during combat. It always feels like Tiger has some ulterior motive that she's working towards.

Both of them are bad listeners; Jack often only listens to themself and is thrown of when he works with Tiger, who will only listen to itself. It becomes kind of a reflection moment where Jack realizes how she's been treating others, but feels too guilty about it to do something right away or to leave Tiger behind.

An opinion Tiger often expresses is that they think that the needs of any and all Shock Troopers should go above all else. They still seem to hold onto an obsessive hope that it (and eventually Jack) will be rescued from Earth, or that the Shock Troopers will somehow resume their invasion and does everything they think that will help. This contributes to his open and very persistent dislike for Sally (Jack's partner/ Alien Grunt OC). He sees her as a obstacle to it's 'plan' and thinks that Jack would be better without it.

Imagine a toxic codependent relationship you might've had with someone, especially in your younger or teen years. Maybe someone really bossy who had you go along with and do things you didn't want to do. Didn't having a friend that was bad better than having no friend? That's what they're dynamic is like.

Does everything work out in the end? Do they kill each other? That's a secret for now :3c
