Miguel replied back saying that he’ll be leaving with Sam as he should be walking over there to her house soon enough.

Afterward he got a text from an unsaved number messaging him asking him why he didn’t tell them that those people were coming. He asked the number, “Who the fuck is this? And, how did you get my number?” The number told him that it was Sam and Demetri gave it to her as she didn’t want to reach out through Instagram. He sat up even further seeing it was Sam who was texting him. He told her that he was going to, as well as give her an apology.

She seemed confused as to why he wanted to apologize to her. He told her simply that he faintly remembered trying to kiss her when she brought him home that night. He just watched her text bubble for a couple minutes then it faded away for another. They came back though and she told him that it was fine. He had a feeling like it wasn’t fine, especially knowing how she can feel about those particular things.

He asked her, “It definitely doesn’t seem that way, so are you sure it’s fine?” Watching her text bubble made him nervous as he didn’t know what she was going to say. But, she insisted on it being fine and said she found it hilarious. Not only her, Miguel did too when he helped her carry him home. Miguel helped her?

Yeah…That checks out. She couldn’t have lifted him on her own as he is nearly double her size. She later asked him when her, Anthony, and Miguel should head over there and what the address of the party was. He told her that they will be setting up around eight to nine pm, and he would have to ask Deke for the address. She thumbed up his message replying with, “Okay, thank you!”

He kept reading that message over and over, it seemed so simple and foolish. It had a little smiley next to it and by far one of his favorites she sent him. They only speak in person hardly over messages he doesn’t even think they talked much on Instagram anyway. He checked if they had any to see that they didn’t. She was the first to follow him though so that’s something?

Moon started to message him after Sam had finished asking if he had messaged Sam today. He was debating if he should tell her the truth or not. So, he told her that he hadn’t only for her to say she’s worried about her. She kept going on that the party might not be Sam’s thing since Kyler was going to be there as well. He asked her why she didn't tell Sam that he was attending.

Moon snapped at him thinking he was going to be the one who told her. He informed her that he is only friends with her brother, not her and to not get pissy with him. He told her to check with Yasmine to see if she had told her or ask Sam herself if she knew that he was coming. He sighs wearily and throws his phone down on his bed. Moon didn’t say anything for a bit as expected but she told him that she will or when she gets ahold of Sam she’ll tell her for him.

He didn’t bother replying, just sent her a thumbs up. He rubbed his face before getting off his bed to get ready for the day. This is going to be a long day if Moon keeps acting like everything is his fault. As he was attending his morning duties he messaged Sam and Miguel both. Sam suggested that they can move their conversations into one chat if they (him and Miguel) were willing. He didn’t mind much, just wanted them to know the details of this party.

Sam made the chat and sent the first message. “All right you little germs, let's get down to business.” He laughed when seeing she called them germs. Miguel pretended to have his feelings hurt when she called him a germ. “Would you prefer if I called you a worm, sir?”

For Miguel to reply that was much better than a germ. Oh, this chat is going to be chaotic with these two, he just knows it he can feel it already. They messaged periodically through the day. It was nice knowing Sam had a sense of humor he feared she didn’t as her father keeps her guarded for the most part. Moon kept complaining to him that she couldn’t get ahold of Sam and he didn’t really care.

“What do you want me to do about it Moon? It’s not like I have a way to contact her either,” he sends in the private messages. He mutes their chats to not get notified about her whining about not getting ahold of Sam. He told Sam that Moon was trying to reach her and it was getting annoying that she was whining to him. Sam told both him and Miguel that neither Moon or Yasmine had reached out since early this morning. She sent the time stamp on when Yasmine last spoke to her and it was around six am.

Miguel thought it was crazy she’d wake up around six am on a Saturday. She told him she woke up around five ten to five twenty (5:20) am everyday. Eli’s eyes widen when seeing that like is she some kind of robot? There is no way that’s normal. She doesn’t see a problem with it as she has been doing it everyday since the fourth or fifth grade.

“You’re dating a robot, Migs,” he sends in the chat, acting all disheartened about the news. Sam went along with it saying that the original Sam had been swapped out for the time being. Miguel acts all sad that his girlfriend isn’t here to celebrate the day with him. “She’ll be back tomorrow to make your evening special, Mr. Diaz,” she says, sending a little wink as well. The gasp that left his mouth at the tease.

“The robot knows how to flirt, who knew?” He asked, continuing the teasing before Demetri called. Demetri called on Moon and Yasmine’s behalf saying they were hurt that Sam hadn’t been replying to them. Eli had informed Demetri they haven’t even bothered with her since around seven this morning. Demetri blinked in surprise, looking over to Yasmine who denied that. He told Dem that she hasn’t gotten anything from them as he asked her if they did or not.

Demetri and Yasmine went silent on the call; Demetri muted himself to talk to her more privately. Eli could definitely read his lips and he was saying things along the lines of, “You told me that you talked with her.” And other things that he didn’t bother looking into. He just told the two to come over to his place so they could head over there. Demetri agreed and said that they are on their way.

Deke finally replied back with the address so Eli could send it to Sam. He couldn’t wait to see both Miguel and Sam at the party, he hoped it would be a blast for her. Nervously fixing his hair in the bathroom before Dem and Yasmine arrived at his house. His parents were away for work at the moment so he had time to himself. His nerves felt like they were on fire waiting for them to arrive.

It felt so awful and strange not being able to breathe he helped Anthony get through this and he can surely help himself out of this. He swooshed air in and out of his cheeks and he sunk in his couch. He clicked his tongue and got up to move around some, god, why was he so nervous. He was feeling all sweaty on his hands and pits. He went back to the bathroom and got rid of the mohawk by rinsing out the gel.

He patted his hair when it was damp before getting his mother’s blow dryer and using that. His hair looked like shit he grabbed some scissors to cut off the colored bit of his hair. It was time to change it up anyway and he tried cutting it very carefully to not look bad. Demetri and Yasmine knocked on his door, letting him know that they were there. He looked at the two and wanted to laugh at the matching.

He kept the laughter concealed to not hurt their feelings. “Looking nice, you two,” he says, still trying to not laugh. Yasmine thought it was a genuine compliment so she said thank you. He shook his head, cocking a smile a bit, and started his car. He told them if they needed to use the restroom that they better hurry up. Demetri went first and showed Yasmine where it was afterward.

“I know you’re laughing at us, Eli, and it’s not nice,” Demetri frowned. Eli told him that he wasn’t laughing to be mean to them. It wasn’t what he had in mind for their outfits. Demetri didn’t believe him and sat in the back of the car. Yasmine came back out, drying her hands some on her dress.

At least she washes her hands. She also sat in the back as she wanted to sit next to Demetri. She grabbed ahold of his arm and rested her head on his shoulder glaring at him longingly. She played with his hair a bit, smiling all happily to be in his presence. Eli eyed them carefully in the rearview mirror as he drove.

“The party seems bigger than I had expected,” Demetri says, nervously, gulping down. Yasmine said that he’ll be okay if he stayed close to her. Demetri nodded and thanked Eli for the ride when stepping out. He wanted to wait a bit longer to see if Sam and Miguel were here yet. He texted Anthony to see if they were since he knew that Sam would be driving. Anthony told him that they should be about ten minutes out.

He stepped out of his car, seeing that kids were already drinking and playing games. Kyler, by the looks of it, seemed the most drunk out of everyone even though the party started an hour ago. Tory was playing with Robby’s hair at the beer pong and kissing on his neck. There were a couple of kids talking their clothes off and diving straight to one another. The lack of control that some of them had was wild.

Eli sent a picture of where he was parking to Anthony so they could park where he was. He wanted to wait for them so he could walk them as they arrived. He played on his phone for the moment being as Moon walked up to him asking if he was willing to be Piper’s partner for beer pong. He really did not want to but reluctantly agreed to doing it. “Oh this is who my partner is?”

He shrugged saying he didn’t want to be but it ain’t his fault that Moon didn’t learn how to play. Piper scrunched her nose and asked what he meant as she thought he taught her. He said that he didn’t because she told him that she didn’t want him to. Huffing out a sigh, Piper told him to forget about it. He threw his hands up in defeat and just watched as the three played together.

He didn’t do much besides lean on a tree next to the table. He perched off the tree knowing that Sam was finally here. He went to find where he had parked to find them. They all stepped out of her car in casual clothes, it was a bit odd seeing she was in sweats. “You’re wearing sweats?”

She shook her head no to his question and took them off to show she had a dress underneath. It was nice; it had a light sparkle to it and it was blue. She looked nice in blue. She threw the sweats in the back seat as she gathered her shoes. She slipped them on saying she could tie them better at the bench.

That bench was near the beer pong and he didn’t want her going over there. She said it was fine and couldn’t care less what Tory and Piper were doing. The three at the beer pong stopped to stare at her for a bit, expecting her to say something to one of them. She didn’t; she just fastened the laces of her shoes and walked off to one of the games. Him, Miguel, and Anthony walked off to follow wherever she was headed.

When getting to the game she wanted to play, Anthony had excused himself to play some corn hole or whichever that was near. Miguel asked if she wanted to have a drink but she told him that she was going to pass for the moment as she’s not thirsty. He was left alone with her and watched her play, hoping to keep Kyler at bay. Kyler and Tory eyed her as she played. He told them to either to take a picture to make it last longer or to fuck off and go away.

Tory rolled her eyes as she went inside the overhang building to get herself a drink. Kyler didn’t budge much, just kept staring at her though. Miguel came back with his drink to watch as well. It was like all eyes were on her and what she was doing. He wondered how she was feeling, she seemed fine but didn’t know if she was.

Yay! So glad you loved it! My friend got me into Sametri (Sam x Demetri) and I’ve actually written a one shot about them probably 3 weeks ago now?? As well as a threesome of Miguel Robby* and Dem! Not sure if you saw but other than that I wouldn’t mind writing poly fics with the four main teens!

I also the idea of Tory and Hawk (their s3 selves would be scarryyyy but it could also work!?), as well as Robby and Moon ironically because initially Robby didn’t give a shit about karate and Moon was all about peace LOL. I can imagine if she helped him get out of it and actually stay out unlike everyone else fr! And now them smoking together is in my head thanks self hahahaha

❝ in case you somehow missed it, you have a really bad habit of ignoring or entirely missing red flags, bro. ❞ chase comments absentmindedly from the kitchen table of the brown household, where he’s been trying to study for a physics test that’s tomorrow for the past ten minutes. robby’s been distracting him every time he tries to, that little shit.

chase’s genuine first thought is to wonder if robby’s ever not missed/ignored any red flags in his life. with his more recent, less-than-desirable choices underneath his belt, much of which involves nasty comments towards miguel, hating the world, & just generally being a nuisance to everyone as prince cobra, he seems to have developed a nasty habit of that. kreese & silver are literal walking breathing red flags, & robby gave into the dark side. full sith, as demetri called it at the all valley tournament. not to mention, it only solidifies chase’s line of thinking as proof. this time around, he’d been referring to that unfathomable, billion-year-old horror ( literal ) in the form of a teenaged boy ( again, in a literal sense ): ethan. chase had thought ethan was hot for a total of one week, then he realized that the other was too chaotic for his liking. & way too in love with robby to ever think about linking up with anyone else romantically.

well, until he, robby, miguel, tory & sam all became a poly group, but chase knows that ethan had a crush on robby long before they’d gotten together. both as a monogamous couple & a polyamorous couple. he’d have to been blind or stupid to not see that egregious amount of pining coming from ethan. & he thought he was the worst case of pining ever with calla. he was so wrong.

❝ ...jesus, mary & joseph, dude. ❞ chase mutters. his tone is entirely flat, even though he’s unsurprised by robby’s chaotic words. he hears hudson gasp in over-dramatic surprise from the kitchen at the sacrilegious use of their names, which he ignores.

his next movement is intentionally slow, so he can properly, convey a scathing, painstakingly judgmental ❝ no fucking shit, dumbass, ❞ look. he looks a lot like deanna with the way his face just drops, the glint in his hazel eyes. slowly, chase lifts head head up from his textbook on thermonuclear fusion, the emotions on his face turning from calm to sarcastic, & looks at robby dead in the eyes.

❝ tell me something i don’t know. again, you & your bad habits of ignoring shit. ❞ he pauses for a brief moment like he’s contemplating his next words. then he just decides to say it. ❝ honestly, with comments like that, maybe i should let everyone know that you need the buddy system just as much as your scary monster fiancé does. if you ignore another red flag ever, i’m going have ethan teleport me to you, so i can punch you for being a dumbass. ❞ it’s hard to tell if he’s joking or if he’s entirely serious. chase doesn’t even know himself. he just… feels weird about ethan lately. he nods towards his phone next to his textbook, but doesn’t make a move for it, instead setting his pencil down.

again, chase thinks that robby’s been hanging out with his fiancé too much. maybe the friend group should make an effort to stage an intervention, keep them apart. …but then again, ethan, unknowable, very emotional cosmic horror with unlimited, scary powers at his disposal, would probably horrifically disfigure anyone who tries to keep him & robby apart - in a nanosecond. …so, maybe it’s not a good idea.
