Rose takes Oleanna to see his new bf and his bf. She is not going to let him get involved w that dfghjk. It's ok Gcis is the problem Also watercooler talk w the other secretary charas, Larry n my oc Lance. All of this was tryin to learn how to draw her I am doing my best

Colress is the funniest character in BW2 you can not change my mind sir ur vibes are rancid. I have headcanons about him I'll elaborate on maybe another day. Maybe when this passes a certain point hehe

Headcanon: Magnolia and Oleana with mutual envy about each other.

Magnolia discovered the mechanics behind Dynamaxing and that it was theoretically possible for trainers to induce a controlled, safe state for their pokemon for battling.

Oleana built on that research and developed the Dynamax Bands, putting the theory into praxis.

Magnolia is angry and envious that the public as well as the scholarly world now focuses on her, as if she hadn't created the basics for what Dynamaxing is today. She feels bitter that people prefer Oleana because she's younger and a pretty woman, although she also knows what a terrible attitude it is to judge a woman by her appearance.

What truly galls her is that the money and reputation of Macro Cosmos matters more than any true research.

Oleana is angry and envious how much the public adores Professor Magnolia. That Magnolia was taken seriously this early in her career as a Professor was mostly thanks to her background. A history of previous researchers as well as being comfortably rich that gave her a big headstart.

Oleana had to work hours upon hours upon hours as a lab assistant; repeatedly ask for grants before she was given them; endure dismissal and mockery because she didn't have the credentials yet.

It was only by luck and her persistence that Rose discovered her research.

Several callbacks to past story bits/events here. Lusamine teamed-up with Oleana during the Villain Arc and met Rose shortly before (ofc, the third part of that team-up wouldn't show because he's not quite reformed so much as choosing to not make problems right now), Paulo, Wikstrom, and Wulfric's team-up during the PML (the point he started going off the deep end) and him and Tina being Colress's bodyguards (a job I do not envy considering he was constantly giving Looker the slip), Sawyer having been brainwashed by Calyrex, and Penny and Elaine meeting each other during that Eevee month event thing. (Plus becoming friends with Hugh in another event.)
