Keplyad Town

“The town of branching friendships.”

A friendly and open little town, filled with tree-lined streets and scenic garden views. Keplyad town is rumored to have been the birthplace of a particular mythical pokémon and is the sister dwelling of Mercryod Town, to the north. Keplyad is home to the third Mainland gym you'll battle on your journey.

★ Keplyad Gym - Stand tall like the Sky Sequoia against Rosamund's grass team and earn the Nymph Badge!

★ Jewel Garden - Beautiful and colorful gardens filled with flowers and fountains, where many people and pokemon come to play. In the center is the statue of a mythical pokemon said to be born here, which has a sister statue in Mercryod. Post-game, the mythical pokemon can be encountered in this garden.

★ Golden Mansion - A large and beautiful mansion owned by Gilde Keplyad, a descendant of the founder of the town.

the new seasons look a lot better animation-wise but i stopped watching the tv series before hoenn started and only saw up to M04. both are cringe but i would have to agree with you here because, again, husbando-bait

generations mini series > manga and anime

I think it was roughly around Genesect's movie where the movie character designs became rather over-the-top.

M01

Pirate guy is weird does he have an actual fucking sword good thing he was only in the beginning. Everyone else is pretty straight forward.

M02

You need to excuse the island’s traditional clothing, that’s not weird. Their normal clothes are pretty good. Lawrence you look like you’re trying to be some sort of Yu-gi-oh villian but got kicked to here for not being weird enough. Maran we’ll forgive you for stealing Jimmy’s bangs this time. Still normal for pokemon.

M03

Pretty plain and straight forward all around but I am really questioning older Molly why do you have a giant bow around your neck?

M04

What the shit is that poacher wearing? Everyone else even baby oak is normal enough. Also that other dude totally looks like older Ash and no one can tell me otherwise. Either intentional in a movie about time travel or lazy character design.

Okay Bianca and old man you’re good but what the actual fuck is going on with Team Rocket girls here? Annie, Oakley, what the hell?

There are some odd life choices going on in here but it’s not too bad but purple hair girl...that belt with those pants and shirt, really?

These are mostly pretty cute and well doe but wtf pirate people and what kind of uniform is that lady? Also fuck you Jackie Walker just because.

Tonio & Alice are A+ but what the hell Alberto you are not prince eric in the little mermaid. And the other three...stop trying to set the trend of looking more like your starter! Stop

Traditional outfits are cute and well done for the most part. Lots of detail but not in an ugly way. Carlita’s is especially cute. The bottom images make me think of earthbenders vs. waterbenders. But WTF IS WITH THE TWO-TONE HAIR THERE IS NO NEED TO BE THAT OBVIOUS ABOUT THE BLACK AND WHITE THEME

M15 & 16 were omitted because not enough focus on single human characters for me to give a fuck.

IN CONCLUSION: I disagree. The designs in the Genesect movie weren’t even weird at all. That Eric guy just had coveralls with a vest over it. Not weird or over done at all. There was weirder beforehand

★ Gloveil Natural History Museum - A big ol' museum filled with cool rocks, pokemon skeletons, and natural artifacts from across the ages in Gloveil. There's even a scientist here who will revive fossils for you, if you can find some...

★ Crater Site - A massive meteor crater that the city sits on and was named for. Lots of people seem to be digging here for something. A special sort of stone, perhaps?

★ The Trading Post - A spot where people come to trade rare items, most especially found on digs in the crater.
