"Fear No Mort" was constant whiplash. In fact, I struggled to evaluate this episode at first because it was one twist after another. Throughout the episode, I had flashbacks to "M. Night Shaym-Aliens!" (the rap scene might've been a direct reference) and the Rickbot reveal in "Ricktional Mortpoon's Rickmas Mortcation."

For better or worse, season seven's had a lot of callbacks and episodes that mirrored previous ones: "That's Amorte" played out like "Mortynight Run"; "Air Force Wong" brought together Dr. Wong, the president and Unity; "Rise of the Numbericons: The Movie" was a "Get Schwifty" sequel.

Seasons six and seven have also piled on the fanservice. The first four seasons stubbornly refused to give us what we want, dangling fan theories or a gentler Rick in our faces before yanking it away. Rick started to change in season five, but it's another ten episodes before you get Rick in a suit and tie, Rick announcing that Rickcest is canon, Rick regularly going to therapy, Space Beth joining the family and other content that's floated around the fandom since 2017.

And let's not forget the big one: C-137 Rick and Morty, Prime Rick and Evil Morty in one episode, fighting and teaming up after we saw Evil Morty's once-forbidden backstory.

Some call it cheap thrills, but I call it a gift to the fandom that's patiently waited for the fakeouts to end. And now that I've said that: "Fear No Mort" was one giant fakeout.

But was it, though?

This is the most unpopular opinion in the world, but I'm not invested in Rick and Diane's relationship. As a gay woman, I just don't connect with opposite-gender couples. Also, I dislike the trope of the idolized dead wife that the audience only learns about through her widower. She's not her own character, just an extension of the male protagonist.

When the fake Rick and Diane reconnected, I thought "Oh boy, this is getting cheesy." They're falling for each other again: check. Rick feels guilty about her death: check. We see how similar they are: check. Rick doesn't want to leave: aaaand, check.

I'm also a little lost after the ending. Morty was the only one in the hole, so why did we see all these scenes from fake Rick's perspective? Was an NPC really that busy?

How much we learned about Diane is debatable, too, since Morty never met her. I guess his ideas came from whatever Rick's told him and maybe the ship's voice since she's based on Diane.

I did like how the episode kept reminding us that Morty's still in the Fear Hole. I mean, we didn't know that, but we knew that. No "Are they in the Fear Hole or not??" until all the twists in the third act.

Aside from that, I don't want the show to revisit the past too much because Rick needs to let go. If you're a Marvel fan, you saw the backlash to Steve Rogers traveling back in time to spend a lifetime with Peggy in "Endgame." He had a life in the present, but he refused to move on.

Nostalgia makes us yearn for earlier years, but if Rick abandoned his family to live with Diane in another reality, I wouldn't call that a sweet ending. I'd call that a disappointment and a waste of his character.

Turns out, Rick never had that option at all.

Well...in a way, he did. And when Morty told him what he saw in the Fear Hole, Rick ran back to the restroom. He looked into the hole. He thought about it. And then he did what I wanted him to do, which was walk away. In this moment, he chose the present.

Admittedly, Morty's fear came true: Rick didn't jump in the hole after him, he did just sit there and watch, and he didn't want to say that Morty's irreplaceable out loud. Plus, Rick was bewildered when Morty hugged him. But for the first time, instead of standing stiffly or gently pushing him away, Rick started to hug him back.

We also saw what Morty didn't: Rick smiling to himself after hanging up the picture of Morty that he kept in his wallet. He had the chance to wallow in shadows of the past, but he didn't take it. Rick chose him.

"Fear No Mort" could've ended with Rick just saying "Let's go" and leaving, but it didn't. Seasons one and two Rick would've bitched and moaned about Morty taking so long. Season three Rick would've left him there for a while to torment him. Season four Rick would've found a way to take advantage of this.

But seasons five, six, seven? That's real character development. That's what all the Twitter users saying "Wow, Rick and Morty is actually good" have been missing out on.

And for the first time in the series, a season didn't end with Rick relapsing or getting a (well-deserved) ass kicking. Is Morty going to get the grandfather that he deserves? Or will he move on, too, now that Rick's releasing his iron grip? Speculating is fun, but for now, let's focus on today.

You and your best friend Ian were about to go meet the entirety of the Gallagher family.  You were beyond nervous.  the only reason you knew Ian was because you had a crush on him and you asked him out.  He obviously said no which upset you at first until he explained he was gay.  after that, you two were inseparable. 

Pulling up to the Gallagher house, you felt nervous butterflies enter your stomach.  what if they hated you? what if they were mean?  what if-

"ready?" ian pulled you out of your thoughts as you got out of your BMW. 

"you might want to lock the car." he chuckles. 

As you walk closer to the door, you can hear more and more commotion coming from the inside of the house.  Instead of knocking, he barges right in and allows you a few seconds to really take in the scene.  Two kids, boy and girl, arguing over a computer, a baby crawling around, and a girl probably in her twenties scrambling around the kitchen.  Finally, you see a boy probably your age smoking a blunt on the couch while watching "to catch a predator". 

He was a sight.  He was hot.  you've seen him around school before, but you don't know his name.  He's known for doing kids homework if you pay him well enough. 

"well well well, look what ian brought here." he gives you a smirk and a once over before adding, "ian found himself some rich girl to smooch off of."

instead of letting ian talk, you immediately say, "sounds like someone's just jealous that you need to do loser's homework to get money."

he looks shocked for a second before adding, "big mouth too.  You smoke?"

"no of course not.  it's terrible for your lungs and I do cheer."

"oh she does cheer?!  her little lungs can't handle it." he mocks a sad face before you add

"at least I'll be alive when my grandkids are born."

he chuckles before taking a drag and going back to his show. ian takes this as invitation to take your hand and lead you to the kitchen.  Where it appears people multiplied as there is now another girl and a guy, you're inferring are a couple. 

"hey guys,  this is y/n.  I invited her over for dinner I hope that's okay." he looks at fiona as the commotion stops for a second.

"Yeah that's fine.  I'm fiona." she gives you a slight wave as she continues scurrying around.

the little girl is the first to run up to you.

Hi Gina!! Sorry for diverting from the topic, but can you please tell me why people are so repulsed by Eleanor? I'm not exactly new here and I've been through the threads about her problematic behaviour during the early days like calling fans names and the whole racist bit she did with her friend (I personally took extra offense to that as an Indian woman) but I also think that she was very young back then and people do stupid shit when they're in their early twenties and don't always apologize for it even when they know better later (not an excuse, just saying that it was a long time ago).

Now I'm not saying that she's for sure a better person now or whatever, I wouldn't know honestly as I don't follow her. But I found her alright during Elounor 2.0 (I joined in 2021) like she posted him sometimes (gave good content honestly), they got papped here and there, when he toured she attended a couple shows. It was all quiet lowkey and straightforward as far as I know (except for the whole airport arrest scandal).

I also struggle with the idea of hating someone just because they're a beard (though a lot of those people end up exhibiting toxic traits seperate from the arrangement), because for that person it's a job/opportunity to further their career, they're not the ones closeting or oppressing the closeted artist. If not her than it would've been someone else just as easily.

I guess my question is, did I miss something here, did she do something during the last few years that warrants such hate? Or is it mostly because of her earlier problematic behaviour + the fact that she was a beard at all?

I ask because I think comparing her to OW (the most horrible ever) might be a bit excessive based on my current knowledge of her.

I don’t actually know anyone “repulsed” by her. She was hated in the first incarnation of Elounor—in part because some things she supposedly did that were racist/mean. But I think most of it has to do with how miserable Harry and Louis always looked and how she was used as a tool to keep them in line (which was the label/management’s doing).

I think there was this overall perception during the band years that she enjoyed upsetting Harry and that she had done some shitty things to him. Plus, there was a general consensus that her presence was emblematic of their closeting. So when they broke up in 2015 not long after all the craziness of 2014 and the big gay war, fans were really hopeful it was a good sign.

Of course, then we got party boy Louis and babygate. So, be careful what you wish for.

Elounor 2.0 was very different. Louis seemed to be in control of things this time and he looked far less miserable (although not exactly thrilled) and she was so low-maintenance as a beard. Other than the fucking E tattoo that he was forced to talk about incessantly (along with “me little lad” nonsense) in 2017, she basically made a few posts and showed up for a few shows and walked the dogs. She didn’t bother me in the least.

Heyyyyy, got a question if you don't mind

I'm aroace. The problem (I think) is that I'm not visibly aroace (can one even be visibly aroace?) and I'm also quite antisocial in general.

It's not that I'm hiding it (I can (I think) casually mention it when relevant) or that I'm in the closet, I just don't really feel the need to change my appearance due to it. If that makes sense

Anyway, now for the (I suppose) controversial bit.

Due to not being "visibly" queer, I don't face (I think at least) the using discrimination (or whatever you call it).

And due to that I sometimes (quite often) don't feel like I'm "actually" queer/aroace.

And yes, I know that it super fucked up to "want" (not the right word, but I'm not English. Just to clarify in case it's not obvious, I do not actual want that) to face the challenges other people do.

Any advice for this?

(extra appreciated if the advice doesn't include going out and/or meeting people, it that's just wishful thinking)

Hey! OK, I hope I don't ruin anyone's day (including yours) or say anything that might be harmful to anyone, as always I'm not gospel and can only speak from my own experience...

...But long story short, honestly, if you don't feel discriminated against, and don't suffer from it on a day to day basis... That's awesome!! And... I feel weird having to say this, but I don't think suffering discrimination should be a requirement for being queer, should it? I mean, that's literally our goal, as queer people, to end discrimination against ourselves, so if this is a demonstration that we're getting closer to that, that's awesome, honestly!

...But yeah. I mean... I hope it's not a stretch to say, but I can imagine there's quite a few queer people out there (not just aroaces) who have had the luck in their life never to be discriminated against, and I hope that continues for them, because... Yeah, that's the goal!

Being queer isn't about that, I don't think. I think first and foremost what defines you as queer is that you deviate from the hetero norm that is viewed as the "default" in society. And I've said that before and I'll say it again, because it might be even harder to actually integrate as an aroace (there's so much external pressure from in and out of the queer community, and yeah, like you said, it's hard to be visible when your orientation revolves around the ABSENCE of something), but you don't have to prove anything to anyone. If you feel you're aroace, then you are. It oughta be that simple most times.

Plus... Not feeling discriminated against at one point in your life sadly doesn't mean that won't happen later down the line. When I discovered myself as aroace as a teen, I didn't really feel my orientation gave me many problems, other than having zero resources at the time to figure out what I was even existed, and being mistaken for gay and facing the occasional homophobia because I didn't date boys. But after a while, after getting into adulthood and being dismissed a couple too many times when I mention my orientation, after the lack of rep getting to me at times (though hey, there IS rep, which I didn't even think I'd see in my lifetime), or after people decide you're old enough to ask you when you're gonna get married too many times for comfort (why do people even do that?), it kinda stuck with me to the point where I wanted to vent in comics. I don't have much to complain about in my life at all! Thankfully the laws in my country or the society I live in can't FORCE me to follow a hetero pattern, so the worst I get is systemic stuff and micro-aggressions, so yeah, I have it good. It's just an itch on a day-to-day. But yeah, made me wanna talk about it sometimes I guess.

But yeah! My bottomline would be: you're in a good situation, from what I understand, and that's great. I hope for you that it lasts. And you shouldn't feel guilty or less valid as an aroace or as a queer person for it. Your experience and your identity are what they are and no one can define your identity but yourself. I know saying "don't feel guilty" or "feel more valid" is easier said than done, but I hope that helps, anyway TwT

They genuinely do care for each other and it shows, even at the end of the manga you can tell how far their relationship has come, even if they consider themselves rivals, they are without a doubt still friends Now a lot of people have said "well they're not gay they're just friends", while this is true, it has been referenced/implied officially in many places, including manga panels and english dubs, so while it isn't canon there is a few cute things about it which we know are official which is why I'm sharing this, I myself know it isn't canon, plus I didn't really make this to prove anything it was kinda for fun sorry if that made little to no sense but I'll start getting into more interesting stuff 1. at the tip of the iceberg we have the fact they're in so much official art together

heya! i'm planning to write my characters (queers and allies) going to a pride parade, but i have never been to one so i'm wondering if you can help me describe the atmosphere and how people interact with each other during the parade? or are there any resources i can look into about pride parades?

I highly encourage you to go to one if you are able, but I know it's not something everyone can just do. My experience under the cut

First, it's my impression that they vary vased on how accepting the setting is. I live in the US in a very liberal area, and that influences my experience a lot, given that a) it's 80% either organizations or buisnesses of some kind showing support, and b) I don't encounter a smidgen of hate/counterprotest.

So my Pride starts as a parade down the street and into the park, where it settles and becomes a festival. I personally enjoy the festival far more.

Most people going , who aren't part of the parade, wear something with a flag on it, the rainbow being the most common. But more and more you'll see flags you don't recognize. People give out stickers-- either rainbow flags in different iterations or hearts with several of the most common flags. Wearing pride flags is very common.

There are usually a couple people with shopping carts so full of flags, boards displaying stuffed animals, large pins, and other things for sale. They start going around the parade area early on. This if good is you want a flag before the parade, but I usually avoid them-- usually these are not queer sellers, and are simply reselling products they bought elsewhere. That said, it was the only place last year I found a 7 stripe sunset lesbian flag.

People there are generally freindly, complimenting pride themed outfits and stuff. There are families with kids there as well as young adults.

The parade, for me, is mainly organizations supporting us-- the grocery store, churches, local politicians, the police (🙄🙄🙄 I went stony silent for them), ect. Groups that I loved tto see though was the local POC Queer group, Planned Parenthood, and my absolute favorite, a local social liberation group. I loved that last one so much because someone was shouting protest chants and there were signs calling for change in trans rights and stuff-- 90% of pride is a parade, not a protest, and feeling the protest energy made me so so happy.

Most people marching are in tshirts associated with theor organization that say something about pride. But you also see a lot of people with pride flags, rainbow butterfly wings. There is usually at least 1 float full of, plus a few other, drag queens. There's the gay bar's float with mostly men dressed in very little. There's giant bubbles or bubble guns. People in the parade will toss out candy, flags, support bracelets, ect to the audience-- also condoms, but I didn’t see any this year. But that might've been because I was near a lot of kids.

At the festival you have:

All those organizations have a booth. There is usually free stuff and sometimes spin to win (pay to spin)

However, you also have local small businesses! There's a good amount that make queer stuff, usually a metaphysical booth, jewelry, pins (fun pronoun pins), flags, umbrellas, fans, pretty much anything you can think of that can have a pride flag, including homemade stuff

The shopping carts are around still

There's a whole bunch of food, like food trucks and stuff. Usually these have nothing to do with pride, theyre just not actually homophobic, and are there to sell food. But there was a local cafe these 6 trans owned and operated that I was super happy to see bc I've been meaning to go.

STD testing somewhere

A stage with a band. I think a drag queen from ru paul came to ours (I go to a big one in a state capital). It's very loud so I don't usually linger here but a lot of people go and enjoy the music and whatever else performance happens.

Ours had rides! A swing ride (so popular I skipped it even though that's one of my favorites) and a carousel. Also face painting. We didn't even have those at the biggest local festival of the year

Free Mom Hugs! I learned recently that this is a group and not just shorrts that are worn, but mother+ aged women wear tshirts saying Free Mom Hugs (or Dad hugs, therre are men too).

As for the people... my pride is crowded. People are usually drressed pretty lightly-- gentials are covered but that's about the only rule. Think rave rules-- boobs usually have their nipple covered. Being covered up is just as common though. No matter what the no-kink-at-pride people claim, this largely isn't sexual. It's queer, it's body positivity and acceptance, it's just being yourself. Also it's usually hot out. People are generally freindly, will compliment especially rarer sexuality representation or cool slogans on shorts. You'll see people in drag, a lot of androgeny, mixing feminine and masculine, ect. And there are plenty of people dressed more normally, too.

People don't necessarily act like everyone there is family or are that much more freindly/familiar with each otther than anywhere else. But mostt people there will respond positively to compliments, most people know far more flags than the average person. People assume pronouns slightly less, definitely still do (my enby gf, wearing all trans colors, no pronoun pin, was misgendered a few times) but it's a much safer environment to correct or ask for one's pronouns or respect ones they see.

Only other pride I've been to is in Provincetown, an extremely gay place. From what I remember, this was much more the common folk, much more an assortment of people marching and cheering and not as directly associated with an organization wanting support. I also went to a leather march there, also basically pride, except mainly... y'know. Leather.

There's a post on heere somewhere of someone watching someone on the bus after pride (idk if ot was a freind or stranger) who lookeed so happy and like themselves, theen having to peel off the stickers, hide the rainbows, ect., as they returned home. This will be an experience that still happens for likely a very long time.

That's about all I can think of. I welcome anyone else to share their experiences! I feel like I talked more about the festival than the parade but I like the festival better.

Unlike what people claim, there is no gatekeeping. The idea of people feeling like they aren't allowed is so weird to me because like. There's so many straight people giving support. There's so many people who you don't know theor sexuality. No one is at pride judging anyone for not belonging. If you look like a bunch of straight people there to party, maybe people will think that and move on. But for the most part no one would notice. You don't know someone's sexuality unless they have a flag, or if someone is there with a same-gender partner or not unless you see them kissing. And no one is performing sex scenes, that picture used in the no-kink-at-pride discourse wasn't at pride, no one does that. Did a freind once tie a bdsm knot on a ripe over my shirt at pride once? Yeah. So what? People there show some pride for their sexaulity, that's different.

Here are another 10 of my current favorite ships I obsess over. I won't include any from the post above though even though I'm still in love with ALL of them too. Some of my favorite couples, 10 of them, in no particular order:

Victuuri (Yuri On Ice, Anime)

I watched this anime and fell in love with it and their chaotic but adorable and sweet relationship SO HARD. And the relationship is right there in canon which is SO NICE to see in anime where it's just another small portion of their lives. The way they are both obsessed with each other too 😍

Edwin and Royai (FMAB, Anime)

Both canon. Royai is canon, argue with the wall! Lol I guess Royai is like half canon, but whatever. Explicit confirmation is not needed to know those 2 are married. Ed and Winry are the peak childhood friends to lovers arc in the most adorable. Plus she is a badass mechanic. HIS badass mechanic. The way their love grew organically is adorable and so sweet. They take such good care of each other. And Royai are the epitome of a married couple. They also are both so equally badass and have such infinite and complete trust in each other?? It's AMAZING. The way they literally trust each other with their lives and their mental well being. The way Roy literally trusts her to be his eyes when needed also? He literally calls her his queen. I love them so much

Clexa (The 100, TV Show)

CANON yet they did us dirty with the bury your gays trope. But like the "I'm only soft for you" bullshit they had going on. UGH I ate it up so hard. Lol they are both such extreme badasses, morally Grey anti heroes. OF COURSE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WAS INTENSELY PERFECT TOO! I love the bellarke ship with the best of them too, but out of all Clarke's relationships, the best and my favorite will always be with Lexa. She loved her SO MUCH and the way Lexa always protected her 😭

SasuNaru (Naruto, Anime)

Not canon, I know, but I'm obsessed with the ship anyway because it SHOULDVE BEEN CANON. I could write whole essays over how painfully gay and queer coded these 2 are. Canonically soulmates and everything. Lol their characters and their relationship was the most flushed out in the show and therefore, them being shipped together just makes sense. Especially with how homoromantic and angsty half the shit they did was.

Shakadolin (Stormlight Archive, Book)

Not canon, but the author said it would've been in a different timeline and that even in the current on, Adolin and Shallan (the Canon couple) probably would've been willing to go for it. Lol you can't convince me otherwise thay they aren't both lowkey in love with Kaladin. They invite him to be their bodygaurd on all their dates for a reason! 😂

HuaLian (TGCF, Donghua)

I've read these books for the first time recently and now these 2 live rent free. Like honestly, the OBSESSION with each other. The adorableness. The respectfulness of boundaries. The ICONIC one liners dropped. The do anything cross any line be wherever you need devotion. The way one of them is the sweetest human alive and the other embodies the "I hate everyone but you" trope. Lol the awkwardness of the positions they find themselves in. The jealousy of each other that they make up themselves. Lol the slow burn is painful!! It's been literally 800 years just tell each other you love each other and get married!!!!

So many ATLA ships lol but I love a good Zukka, Sukka, Zutara, Kataang, Korrasami, Rangshi, Suzukki as my ot3 love too lol (TV Show)

There is a good mix of canon and non canon ships here lol what can I say, I'm easy to please! But I will say that it speaks to my Sapphic soul in the best way that the wlw ships are CANON! Thank you ATLA universe for that blessing. And they are canon in the most amazing of ways. Korrasami will always be my favorite. The bi icons those girls are and they way they are EVERYTHING and are so freaking sweet and cute and BADASS.

Solangelo (PJO, Book)

Loves of my life, this relationship is grumpy x sunshine trope personified. They are so sweet, so cute, so perfect for each other it hurts. I clearly have a dynamic I love here. Lol because they are also both insanely badass. Plus the ghost king who controls death and his medic doctor boyfriend? Yes please. Literally made for each other and the way they help each other heal and be happy 🥺

The Iron Triangle, aka Yizhi, Shimin, and Zetian (Iron Widow, Book)

Love triangles done correctly and ended perfectly, aka bisexually. Lol to quote the author, "Iron Widow is just 400 pages of Zetian and Shimin suffering nonstop while Yizhi has the most bisexual time of his life." Lmfao. They are the morally Grey anti heros and lowkey villains in love badass scifi/fantasy cast of characters who ALL fall in love with each other and are only stronger for it. And it's a true triangle, where all 3 are in love and feel more complete for it. There is no choosing.

Darrow & Virigina, and Sevro & Victra (Red Rising, Book)

Unhinged characters falling in love. What could be better. They both match energies so well, bring out the best in each other and fight so hard for each other or sometimes fight each other too. These books are so good, but so brutal. Lol the relationships follow suit. But I freaking LOVE them. I cried so much reading it all and yet I'm obsessed and have been since I first read them. It'll probably never stop.

One of my many random Tdbk fics i just started at a random point im calling it "To be or not to be is that a question?"

Todoroki apparently talk to a sus person and they use their quirk on him, whatever the quirk is it's supposed to like make him blow up or something if he doesn't fall in love with the last person he interacted with so Todoroki is trying to make Bakugo fall in love with him but Bakugo doesn't believe this is even a real quirk going on.

Also i was trying to make it clear that Bakugo is smoking that "Im not gay i can't be gay"

Bakugo slaps his hands away like he’s done something irreversible. “Stop it with that gay shit!” Todoroki looked at him instead of rubbing his hand. It didn't really hurt but there was a sensation like every interaction he’s ever had with Bakugo.

“I don’t like you,” he points his finger in Todoroki’s face, now he’s rubbing his hand cause the earlier sensation stings a bit. It's just physical pain not Bakugo's painful words. He makes sure he’s watching Bakugo when he continues to speak through.

“You don’t like me either. You think you do and i have no fucking idea why but you just do. But i don’t like you, i don’t like anyone so get the fuck away from me Icyhot.”

He shoves his hands down his pockets trying to evade him like he’s been doing this whole week long, however Todoroki isn’t going to take no for an answer. He follows him which makes him even angrier. He can practically see his fangs from behind his head, he pictures those angled eyes turned down at him. His imagination comes to life as Bakugo turns to him.

“Fucker what did i just fucking say? Get away from me!” He shoves him.

“But what about what that guy said? Don’t you believe him?”

Bakugo looks at him like he’s just asked him if he believed in the tooth fairy. “I fucking don’t and you shouldn’t either, that crook only told you what he did to get off on the idea of an idiot and you fell for it like a sack of rocks in the ocean.”

Shoto's life could very well be in danger so he's going to take this seriously. Shoto shakes his head at him staring.

“I believe him Bakugo, i believe what he said..”

“Fucking why?” Bakugo challenge’s his personal space bubble, he’s a couple inches away from Shoto’s face snarling. “And if you fucking say you want to be in love with me i'm going to blow your nasty ass sky high without question.” He makes his threat clear by the way he holds his hand painfully strained in that way he always does.

Shoto has to choose his next words carefully. -Well not really he isn’t scared of Bakugo he just rather not get into a fight right now. Talking er.. Yelling at eachother.. Um one sided argument is enough.-

The careful words he chose sound like this: “Because, I just think what he was saying was correct.”

“On what grounds Half n half?!” He asks trying to confirm something.

“My grounds?” Shoto answers confused at the question.

Bakugo sighs digging his fingers into his own face, pulling it down. That the thing he does when he’s done with Shoto’s antics, also known as giving up trying to get something through his thick skull.

“Nothing good ever comes from hanging out in a shitty back alley way” He tells him.

Shoto disagrees, he’s seen good things come from shady areas. Just look at Tokoyami.

“You got scammed. Tricked.” His temper changed that fast, he was angry, still is, just a little more calm. He’s just worried about me. Shoto thinks watching the other boy walk away. He follows suit not wanting to be left alone plus they were going in the same direction. Heights alliance.

“Bakugo?” his voice was hushed.

“What?” he growls.

“I know you don’t believe it but if this really was a quirk at work and you had to fall in love with me to save me would you do it?”

Ok anon. First of all, I think people throw around the word "invalidating" in this fandom way too much. No one is invalidating no one. I can't speak for other larries but what I'm stating here is that they're queer, and closeted and that they are together (and always have been). That's it. I have no idea where they are placed in the sexuality spectrum, we can only guess. But honestly, I don't give a fuck because they're a couple and they're not allowed to tell people that, and that's the point. Why do people care so much about putting a label. I'm bisexual, ok? And if someone refers to me as a lesbian, I'm not going to be fucking offended or correct them. It's fine, and if you think there's something wrong with it I recommend you to re-examine your concept of what is being queer and proud about it. Plus being bisexual is not going to make them less gay, so you can stop trying to defend that now.

Second of all, I don't think things are black and white like that when we're talking about sexuality, sexuality is something fluid. I know loads of guys who identify as 100% gay but they had girlfriends at some point, girls who dated guys for years and then they realized they liked girls too, or only girls. So that doesn't prove anything. There's no such thing as a rule like you dated a girl once so you can't be gay, you can do whatever you want, you can identify however you want. As for getting Briana pregnant, with all due respect, that's the stupidest argument I have ever seen about babygate. He could be straight and still that girl was never pregnant, and that's the point. I think you're missing the point on a lot of things here btw, anon.

Okay I just watched the first 10 minutes and UHH. XDD DANG lol. I kinda figured it was something like that but still xdd. Also a tunnel is a little extra. It was funny and interesting tough lol

And ahhh it was a medically induced coma, okay, I see. Still, it sucks :((. And there's the start (that we see) of her denial too. Poor lady :((. Poor all of them, honestly. Just, oof xdd.

Also, it sucks that he choked a bit (I don't know if I'd call it crashing and burning lol - also I find it funny how with "burning" they had a chance to have the fighters actually fight like. A fire xDD but I get that they're ent more with the crash theme lol - oh wait, back from putting the title at the end, I just remembered it's learn XDD Nevermind then, lol), but I'm sure whatever his face was, 9-1-1 dispatcher boy, will do great :)). He just has to get a little more experience first :D. I think he'll do great <3. Hopefully he's not evil lol.

Overall, I loved the episode. The calls were fun, though a bit sad at times Hen's storyline was amazing, as was Athena's side. Ayy, our besties have an episode :D. Kind of together, but also super far apart lol. Also, poor Buck, honestly. Man is struggling lol. But yeah, I really connected with Hen here so I just feel extra bad for her <3. Anyway, it was a great episode. This season's shaping up to be really good :).

It was morning and buster moon was getting ready to do a show.  He was having a singing competition and he wanted talents from big or small like adults to teens to join so he and his helper whose name is miss crawly an old lady had helped him put up signs all over the town and even high schools. Later a couple was taking her children to a restaurant and she was singing and her children were being noisy and her husband was reading the newspaper ' mom Hannah is bugging me!' Called out one of her children. ' mom Casper is lying I am not!' Yelled out Hannah as she stuck her tongue out at him. 'That's enough you were inside the restaurant now so stop it with this nonsense all right?' Said the mother.  ' Sorry mom ' said Casper and Hannah together.   'Hello welcome to pizza hut were would you like to sit?' Asked the person at the door. 'How about a long table please?' Asked the woman.  'Sure I will check and get right back to you' while the family waited the woman looked at the filers on the wall and she saw the list for the competition and turned to her husband and said 'oh look Norman a singing competition I need to enter ' she Cried. 'Sure honey do whatever I only work here part time' he said as he was trying to break up a fight between two of his children. She sighed and thought 'I wish my husband could see what a great singer I am one day?'

Later at a high school two friends were by themselves they always hang out together and did everything together like brother and sister the girl was singing while the guy was lying on the grass enjoying her singing, 'wow you sing great meena ' he said as he lay against a tree. " thanks johnny ' said the tall girl whose name is meena. ' I get shy when I sing near people ' she said. 'You don't get shy near me' he said to her.' Well your different we knew each other when we were little kids  ' said meena. ' Yah but you can really sing ' he said 'so can you johnny ' she said with a laugh. ' I'm average ' he joked.  ' no your not your really good ' she said. ' awwww thanks meena ' 'sing right now' she said. So johnny did he sang wonderfully intill a bully came over and said ' hey be quiet gay boy' ' guy's who sings are gays ' he teased johnny.  ' shut up Jason!' Yelled johnny as he got up to his feet with fist ready. 'Gay! Gay! Yelled Jason.  As he and his friends laughed. 'SHUT UP!' Yelled johnny angrily.  'Oi what's going on here Jason get lost and leave these two alone ' said a a girl with blonde hair.  She was with another girl who had brown hair and was very popular and they were with another boy with blonde hair as well as they came over towards them.  'Nothing nooshy we were just leaving ' said Jason. ' good Don't let the door hit you on the way out' she called.  'Hey new be's, I am nooshy and these two are Porsha crystal and darius we just moved here and who was singing? You had some great vocals there' said nooshy with a grin. 'Uhhhhhh that was me' said johnny with a grin as he turned red.  'Have you guys tried out for singing? You should my mates here are trying and there good darius, Porsha sing for them" said nooshy.  And they did and they sang great. 'Waitva minute is your dad Jimmy crystal?' Asked johnny to Porsha. 'Yup he is really famous in the city' she said while grinning. 'Wow' said johnny and meena together. ' So are you two gonna join?' Asked nooshy. ' yes but wait what about you?' Asked johnny,as he looked at her. ' Oh I can dance watch ' and she danced and they all thought she was great. 'But isn't it a singing competition?' Asked johnny then.  'Yes but I might ask the person who is running it if I can dance instead ' she said with a smile on her face. Johnny grinned at her.  'Well we better go if Jason bugs you again let us know ' said nooshy. ' we do' said johnny ' wow they were great ' said meena as she couldn't believe the new be's. " Yah they were we really got competition ' said johnny. 'Plus I think that blonde girl likes you' teased meena with a grin. ' she's not my type, I am waiting for the right girl meena ' said johnny with a sigh .' I know she's out there' he said sadly.

Later at a private school lad a very beautiful girl she had long brown hair and was very popular as well. She was great at music had great grades and a great boyfriend.  She layed at her desk as her teacher said 'okay class please play the song 'girlfriend 'on your instruments ' she said as they did ash saw her boyfriend Lance he was playing really well while she was really good.  Everyone looked at her and loved her. Expect for Lance.  Everyone clapped for her 'Awwwwwwww thanks ' she said with a smile. Lance grew angry at her.  When class was over they were interrupted when a young man was at the door 'oh hello do you belong here young man?' It was johnny from the public school hevwas told by his principal to send the competition notice to there school and give it to the music teacher. 'Uh no I go the public school down the street, my principal told me to give you this but I think I know one person who  should  join it' he said as he smiled at ash.ash grinned at him. ' you thought I was good?' She asked him.'yes you were really terrific ,I heard you down the hall I never heard anything like it before ' he said. 'Thanks ' she said while smiling. ' Oh here take it and think about it okay ' ge said as he had to leave. ' Okay thanks oh wait what's your name?' But johnny left before he could answer her.when she saw him leave she smiled she thought he was cute intill she turned around and saw lance's mad face' ash I Don't like you flirting with any guys!" He yelled.  ' Lance I wasn't flirting with him, he was being nice ' she said as she was getting scared at the sound of his voice.  'Don't go near him again you got me!?' He yelled and he hit her in the face and she fell to the ground crying and Lance kicked her stomach and left as she was still crying while she hold onto the paper about the competition and she decided to go which Lance liked it or not.

I decided to watch Bia

People have been like "wHY hAVen't YoU WaTChEd It yEt" and like BRUH it's not even available in my country? What am I supposed to do? But now I happen to have a VPN so like. I could watch it. I watched the first episode a couple of months ago and honestly it didn't interest me at all. But now I said "ok fine whatever"

So this is my reaction from watching episodes. Every time I've watched 5 more eps, I update this.

After watching 5 episodes:

I zoned out constantly and missed a bunch of scenes. I don't really feel invested in the characters yet. Bia just feels like a smiling perfect child and there's nothing wrong with that, but I feel like nothing happened with her yet. She has great friends, great parents, is great at drawing and people support her for it, she also sings great, she basically no struggle in life besides missing her sister. She doesn't really have to fight to get anything she wants. I do like that every new DCLA show has parents that are more and more supportive, but when the main character has no one to fight, it's like nothing really happens. Violetta's dad didn't support her singing, so she had to fight for it. Luna's parents supported her roller skating, however, Ámbar always tried to sabotage it, plus she had to practise a lot of steps she couldn't do and had a hard time learning. Bia has very supportive parents. They want her to sing, and they support her drawing. And so does her friends, and everyone else.

It's a little interesting with the Helena plot, i'll admit. I sense there's a Romeo and Juliet plot building up for Bia and Manuel due to their parents (or, they're not Manuel's parents but he lives with them), and that can be interesting.

I feel like this show focuses more on aesthetic than plot at the moment. Also they have no idea how youtubers work.

Also I mix up Chiara and Celeste too much.

After watching 10 episodes:

In both of the other telenovelas, i've felt like no one's straight, basically. "Everyone's bi until proven otherwise", "everyone's gay until proven otherwise", etc. But here I feel the STRAIGHTEST vibe for everyone. Except Pixie. She's a lesbian. And she def has a thing for Bia. But everyone else is so S T R A I G H T-

I still zone out. Even I stare at the TV all episode, I still zone out and miss stuff. I can't focus on what's happening. Because nothing happens.

Ok. The stuff with Ana/Helena is interesting. The family stuff is interesting. But I just feel like it haven't reached that depth yet. Ok, I know, "how deep can they be for your standards?" but like... even if it's pretty deep it's also like... shallow, in some way. That's what I feel and I can't explain why.

The song where they sing "ooooooooh tengo una cancion" is good.

I mixed up Alex and Manuel and I forget what the cooking dude is named.

Last thing I wanna point out, Bia's parents passed by the INFAMOUS FOUNTAIN WHERE DRAMA ALWAYS HAPPENS and NOTHING HAPPENED IN THAT SCENE. THEY JUST PASSED BY. SCANDALOUS.

After watching 15 episodes:

Pietro! I've learned his name! Sometimes he moves like an animated character.

Yeah I feel like nothing's happened. There's this stuff with people calling Bia a hater but it's barely like... a big thing. It's a thing that I feel doesn't really bother her as much, because they focus on so many other things.

It's a little interesting with the parents signing the record I guess. I'm still pretty bored otherwise.

After watching 20 episodes:

When I had reached episode 17, I desperately wished I was watching something else. I just was that bored.

It's not the character's fault. I do think the family stuff is interesting, but that's the only time I really can pay attention. Otherwise I'm just getting such an urge to change to something else. I have to say episode 20 was pretty okay and that's why I think I can watch some more episodes.

I don't care about the love plot at all. I have nothing against Bia and Manuel. They're cute. I just don't feel anything. I do like how my feelings change for every main couple of these telenovelas. Like: Telenovela 1: Feeling nostalgia and happiness when I see the main couple Telenovela 2: Feeling irritated with the main couple and wishing they weren't endgame Telenovela 3: Feeling absolutely nothing towards the main couple. They just exist for me.

I don't know how people who love this show is like, so I don't know if you guys are the kind of people who go "How come you don't like this?! What's wrong?!"

I absolutely understand why you'd like this show. And I really am trying to like it. I am a patient person. It took me around 20 eps to really get into SL. I am still not into this but I don't want to give up.

I fell asleep during episode 22. It came so suddenly. I was full-on focused as Victor came to Bia's house to apologize. I liked that scene and I thought it was interesting. Then next scene came and I just... dozed off. I woke up startled by Victor (or Manuel) saying "¿Como estas?" and I wondered how much I had missed (I had missed 2 scenes, it was a short nap I took). But I take that as a confirmation that I probably should take a break now.

So - Bia is a show. I definitely get why people like it, but I just haven't gotten into it. At least, not yet.

Will I continue watching? Probably. Though, not as fast. Even though there is some interesting stuff happening there's not enough to keep me invested in a full episode. I need more chaotic energy, more moments that may not be necessary for the story, but still entertain me. I don't get it here. I think that, besides the family feud plot and Helena/Ana, there's nothing else that keeps my interest at all.

Some people say this show "fixes the problems the previous shows had" and maybe it does... but I haven't really noticed. And just because something "fixes" a problem, it doesn't mean it's automatically better. Also i'm just gonna say this, I am not very convinced to watch a show because I hear it's "better". It's like when people thought I would be convinced to watch SL because it had "good ships" - like it just made me not like a lot of ships out of spite in the beginning.

Anyway. I've watched a third of season 1. This is how I feel this far. We'll see how I feel when watching more, when I do that. As I mentioned, I totally get why people like this show, but personally it hasn't grown on me (yet).
