Molting/Mason Raven Reboot Info in BatIM AU
Here is Molting Raven aka Mason’s profile. However, his design is still works since I need to make sure it looks right. (Some of the toons might only appear in RP, so that’s why you guys not familiar with the names ^^’)
PS. I have bad grammar, so I’ll try to fix this, if not, I’ll try to edited later on. Sorry
Molting/Mason Raven Age: Pre-Teen (was an adult or kid like adult toon before, plus he’s the youngest toon of Joey Drew Studio) Gender: Male Creator: Mason Johnson Affiliation: Joey Drew Studio (formerly), Bendy’s Show (rejected), The Misfits (Bendy and Whizbang) Alignment: Hero toons Sexuality: Pan-sexual (he’s not picking) Species: Human-like Raven Toon (?, shh) Clothes: A tie and vest with long sleeves Reboot: Besides him being a pre-teen, he’ll have his wings on his back instead (which are broken), he might be a bit shorter than Bendy and he’ll just be a rejected toon, plus remains being voiceless for a long time and his fingers are not feathery like. (I’ll miss it, but it’s for the best) Resident/Whereabout: Joey Drew Studio (Formerly), ToonTown (somehow escaped from the studio and lived in Toontown for 15 years ago. He was gonna be away from the studio for 2 years, but this is better) Personalities: Timid, has no memories of who he is or where he’d came from, quiet (he uses sign languages), nice, kind, greatly depress (has cuts on his wrists), get scare easily, somewhat mature, caring (especially towards animal toons an, babies and children) and suicidal (later on) Powers/Abilities: Sound attack, toon super-speed, thought bubble speech, somehow can understand animal toons, morphs his feathers into weapons (like sword, whip, etc), flight (not at the moment since his wings got broken somehow) and unknowingly has demonic powers. Fears: Humans (well, most of them), being alone, rejected, dragons (will be explain later on), losing the ones he cares about, fire Weakness: Black licorice (yuck) and babies Friends/Allies: Bendy (big brother figure), Boris, Henry, Mason (father figure), Norman, Alice (big sister figure), Mickey (idol), Oswald (idol), Julius (brother figure, will explain later on), Ike, Conner, Sakuraso, Walt Disney, children (both humans and toons), Edward Fisher Enemies: The Butcher Gang (bullies, later friends), Joey Drew, Sammy Lawrence, Pete (steers clear from him), toon villains, The Searchers Unknown/Unsure: Jinks (she’s part of Butcher Gang, but she only laughs when the guys picks on Molting until she’s alone with him and begins to treat him, later on friend), Chase (first encounter start as bad, but thanks to Conner, he’s slowly okay with Chase), Whizbang (frighten of him to wary to later on brother figure, will be explain later on), The Lost Ones (???) Background/Info: Molting Raven was created after Bendy’s Show was going great (I’m guessing a year or two after Bendy was created) and his creator; Mason, decide to create a toon for the show, however Joey rejected the the raven on the spot. Unknown to anyone, Mason put all his heart, soul and faith in his toon that his toon came to life somehow, without the use of the Ink Machine (In my verse, I say the toons were alive, but on paper and only the creators can see them moving on the paper while most can be solid and alive through the heart of the creator). The staff were in awe and surprise to see a toon alive, even Joey. Mason had told his toon about Walt Disney and the toons of Disney Studio, hoping to work the great man one day. Mason taught his toon how to use sign language and atught a few thing to the raven. However, Joey slowly has an idea without his staff knowing his cruel plan. One day, something happen... Mason went missing and Molting Raven soon was use as an experiment through some ritual with the Ink Machine. The raven tries to escape, but Sammy and Joey broken his wings to prevent him from flying away. As time went on, Molting Raven became scare and depress withdraw from anyone in the studio, hidden in his creator’s work station while cutting himself while having hidden huge scar on his back... until Bendy, who is alive somehow, found the raven. Bendy soon became the raven’s big brother figure, getting along with the other toons, but then the Butcher Gang begins to pick on Molting Raven by words and by pain. As 15 years went by, the raven soon found himself out in the streets, having no memories of how he’d got there nor who he is. He was later found by Julius the Cat (Walt’s very first toon) and the toons, staying with them for a month until the raven had learn about a place known as ToonTown, leaving Julius to see about such world. However, once Molting Raven arrives in ToonTown, he was soon frighten by scene if a rabbit toon facing a dragon toon (I wonder who that is?), seeing the dragon for the first time and was almost burnt by the flames then quickly runs off with terror. Which was bad since he’d encounters full grown viscous dragons and nearly got caught by them. The poor raven becomes truly terrify of the world, just wanting the pain to go away. Then he was found by a mouse toon named Mickey Mouse. Mickey had took Molting Raven to his half brother, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, the same rabbit from before and Walt Disney. It took time, but Molting soon settles down in Toontown with Oswald and Mickey’s help, meeting a kind cobra toon named Conner. Molting is still greatly timid of interacting with any toon while having nightmares about his tragic past, wishing to know who he is and hope to find happiness... Before BatIM AU (Canon like): One day, Molting didn’t sleep much after having a nightmare and decide to take a walk to relax, not knowing he’s one of the target of a certain dragon and gets scare by the loud noise of a firecracker and let’s a weird noise which made someone laugh. Once the raven looks to see who was laughing, he’d saw a teenage dragon from before which cause the raven screams with terror and dashes off to escape. Molting stay in hiding while Oswald reassure that he’ll be okay. After two days of hiding, the raven decide to take a walk yet again, not knowing he was follow by a group of human-like cat toons. The cat toons corner Molting and force the raven to give up the money. The raven becomes terrify, not sure how to tell them he doesn’t have any money, the cat toon beats him up, badly. However, the cat toons were in big trouble when they heard a loud animal snarl and the raven had blackout when hearing the toons screaming with fright. The Molting found himself in the hospital, seeing Mickey and Oswald by his side of the bed. The raven wonders what happened, but Mickey only told him he was attack and someone saved him. The raven wonders who’d save him, hoping to find this toon... In BatIM AU (Canon like): ??? (Shh...)
That’s all for now. I will try to post up his new looks once it’s done, so bear with me.
Whizbang belongs to @saffronaura (Again, hope you don’t mind, but I kinda imagine Molting/Mason being scare of Whizbang and dragons at that first meeting) Bendy and the Ink Machine belongs to theMeatly Molting/Mason Raven, profile belongs to me

Jan. 16, 2019: In other news
MerleFest adds The Avett Brothers, others
The Avett Brothers
MerleFest, presented by Window World, has announced new artist additions for MerleFest 2019: The Avett Brothers, Molly Tuttle, and Sean McConnell. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, April 25-28. MerleFest is pleased to welcome these three distinguished artists to the 2019 lineup:
The Avett Brothers: The Avett Brothers first made mainstream waves with their 2009 major label debut, I and Love and You, landing at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 and garnering critical acclaim fromRolling Stone, Paste, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, andTime. In 2012, The Carpenterhit #4 on the Billboard Top 200, while People, USA Today, and American Songwriter lauded the album, the band appearing on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! twice in a few months' time. The eighth studio album, Magpie and the Dandelion, debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 and the band performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, and accompanied Chris Cornell for a Pearl Jam tribute on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
True Sadness, the record that followed, achieved The Avett Brothers’ highest career debut to date and dominated multiple charts. The Rick Rubin produced album hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums Chart, #1 Top Rock Albums Chart, #1 Digital Albums Chart, #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and scored two GRAMMY nominations. The Avett Brothers were inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2016. 2018 brought the HBO premiere of “May It Last: A Portrait of the Avett Brothers,” a documentary co-directed by Judd Apatow and Michael Bonfiglio. Days after this debut, True Sadness launched to #3 on the iTunes Album Chart and #1 on the Rock Albums chart. In October of ‘18, The Avett Brothers debuted a new song, “Roses and Sacrifice,” live on Late Night with Seth Meyers and then released the track officially in November ‘18, Rolling Stone calling it a “joyous sing-along.” Also, in November of last year, the band headlined the Concert for Hurricane Florence Relief in Greenville, North Carolina, raising $325,000 to help those affected by Hurricane Florence. The Avett Brothers continue to be revered as one of the top folk-rock acts in the country and will perform on Sunday at MerleFest.
Molly Tuttle: Molly Tuttle speaks softly. Her voice is both lilting and lucid, and when she says that she wants to create music that is truly original and unmistakably hers, her quietness shifts into a steely audacity that’s charming and almost funny––she’s only 25 after all. But then you remember her songs and her playing. And it hits you: brash beautiful originality is exactly what Molly is doing. The 2017 release of her debut EPRise further introduced Molly to a roots music audience who had already enthusiastically embraced and elevated her. Her 2017 and 2018 wins for IBMA Guitar Player of the Year were history-making as the first woman to be nominated for the honor. The accolades kept coming in 2018 when Folk Alliance International’s International Folk Music Awards awarded her Song of the Year for her song “You Didn’t Call My Name,” and she was named Instrumentalist of the Year by the Americana Music Association. With all of this recognition, it might be easy to forget that Tuttle has yet to release a full-length album. Her eagerly-anticipated debut album is scheduled to be released in early 2019 on Compass Records. Molly Tuttle will make her MerleFest debut on Saturday afternoon.
Sean McConnell: “I think embracing the blurry lines is a sign of getting older and just having more life experience,” Sean McConnell says. “It can be healthy to break your own boxes.” Sean is home in Nashville, reflecting on the path he’s taken to recording Secondhand Smoke, his 13th album. A cohesive collection of modern folk music, Secondhand Smoke asks provocative questions about how we become who we are, what and whom we love, and the growth, pain, and freedom that come with accepting that some answers might elude us forever.
Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Brothers Osborne, and more have all recorded his songs. Sean earned his first Number 1 single on the country charts in 2018 with Brett Young’s delivery of “Mercy,” which the two co-wrote. As a performer, he packs listening rooms and quiets unruly bar crowds. His sound––a warm tenor painting vivid stories over acoustic guitar often cushioned by keys or other strings––has prompted a diverse range of music scenes from the storied Boston folk community to Texas’s defiantly self-sovereign camp to warmly claim Sean as one of their own. “My payoff is just making the music,” Sean says, then smiles. “Everything else is bonus.” Sean McConnell performs on Friday at MerleFest.
“We are extremely excited to be adding these artists to an already stellar lineup for 2019. They represent the diverse talent that MerleFest is famous for,” says Ted Hagaman, Festival Director. The three artists announced today join over 75 artists initially announced in November via Rolling Stone Country and the second wave of artists announced last month. Headliners include Wynonna & The Big Noise, Keb’ Mo’, The Earls of Leicester, Sam Bush, Tyler Childers, Brandi Carlile, and Peter Rowan and The Free Mexican Air Force with Los Texmaniacs. The Late Night Jam presented by The Bluegrass Situation will be hosted by Chatham County Line. In addition to the above mentioned artists, the following will be performing at MerleFest ‘19:
American Aquarium, Andy May, Ana Egge & The Sentimentals, AZTEC SUN, Banknotes, Bob Hill, Cane Mill Road, Carol Rifkin, Carolina Blue, Catfish Keith, Charles Welch, Dailey & Vincent, David LaMotte, Dirk Powell Band, Donna the Buffalo, Driftwood, Elephant Sessions, Elizabeth Cook, Ellis Dyson & The Shambles, Gordie MacKeeman & His Rhythm Boys, Happy Traum, Irish Mythen, Jack Lawrence, Jeff Little Trio, Jess Morgan, Jim Avett, Jim Lauderdale, Joe Smothers, Jontavious Willis and Andrew Alli, Junior Brown, Junior Sisk, Larry Stephenson Band, Laura Boosinger, Lindi Ortega, Mark Bumgarner, Mark & Maggie O’Connor, Maybe April, Michaela Anne, Mile Twelve, Mitch Greenhill and String Madness, Nixon, Blevins, & Gage, Pete & Joan Wernick and FLEXIGRASS, Presley Barker, Professor Whizzpop!, Radney Foster, Roy Book Binder, Salt & Light, Scythian, Shane Hennessy, Si Kahn & The Looping Brothers, Steve Poltz, T.
