A Remedy, desenvolvedora de Allan Wake, anunciou que o jogo terá modo de performance PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X, com o jogo rodando em menor resolução que o modo qualidade, mas com o tão esperado 60 FPS, que tornam a jogabilidade mais fluida. No Twitter, Thomas Puha, diretor de comunicações da Remedy, destacou que o time realizou a "façanha" de fazer o jogo atingir os 60 quadros por segundo, mesmo com Alan Wake sendo originalmente planejado para rodar a 30 FPS nos consoles de nova geração.

“Fico feliz em dizer que Alan Wake II terá um modo Performance no PS5 e Xbox Series X. O jogo foi construído desde o início como uma experiência de 30fps, com foco no visual e no ambiente, mas de alguma forma conseguimos incluir um modo de desempenho sólido. Falaremos sobre os detalhes em breve”, disse Thomas na publicação.

Lembrando que a Remedy anunciou que o jogo chegará apenas nas plataformas digitais.

Segundo a desenvolvedora, “muitos players migraram para o meio apenas digital nos últimos anos”. Além disso, descartando a mídia física ajudaria a manter os preços do título numa faixa mais aceitável. Vale lembrar que o primeiro Alan Wake foi lançado em 2010 para Xbox 360 e, posteriormente, para PC.

“Você pode comprar um Sony PlayStation 5 sem uma unidade de disco e o Xbox Series S da Microsoft é um console apenas digital. Não é incomum lançar jogos modernos apenas em formato digital.”

Segundo o site oficial do jogo, os jogos terão apenas dois pacotes digitais disponíveis no mercado:

– Padrão: R$ 155 para PC e R$ 187,90 para consoles;

– Deluxe: R$ 217 para PC e R$ 247,50 para consoles. Este pacote virá com as expansões “Night Springs” e “Lake House“, além de algumas skins especiais para armas e personagens.

Na história acompanhamos Alan Wake, um escritor de suspense que viaja com a esposa para uma pequena cidade montanhosa na tentativa de superar um bloqueio criativo. Mas logo ele descobre que a cidade é assolada por forças sobrenaturais e que as obras dele estão sendo reinterpretadas de forma sombria. A partir daí, Alan deve lutar contra as forças do mal para proteger a si mesmo e à esposa.

A PlayStation Showcase entregou muita novidade, entre elas a confirmação do remake de Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

O jogo será um remake fiel de Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, lançado originalmente em 2004 para PlayStation 2. O remake vai trazer de volta os dubladores originais dos personagens, além de ter um enredo rico e recursos expansivos de sobrevivência e combate em ambientes hostis, com gráficos sem precedentes e som imersivo.

Uma novidade é que antes do lançamento do remake, os jogadores poderão jogar novamente os três primeiros títulos da franquia Metal Gear Solid por meio da Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1.
