Marvel Smash Bros-like game idea based primarily on the comics. In my headcanon the game came out in 2007 for that Ultimate Alliance/PS2 movie game era vibe

Not every character has the luxury of 8 unique costumes to choose from so I got less ambitious with the next ones.

I had a very inspired idea for the fantastic four as a pokémon trainer style switching fighter so maybe I’ll do that next

Melee is such a funny game cause the top tiers are some of the most powerful and expressive characters you’ll ever see in a fighter and then the bottom tiers will have like 2 good moves and border on being nonfunctional

Orcane, the water spirit of Joy, returns from Rivals of Aether to Rivals 2!

As one of the original four rivals, and the definitive water rival, Orcane has been a long awaited character to return.

This piece is what I'd call Orcane's unofficial theme, which has a pretty chill melody and composition that feels like a seaside village.

Here's the starting roster for "ANIMATION SHOWDOWN"! It contains the initial fighters teased for the game. More details down below.

Honestly? I'm a Mera main. I don't care if she's D-Tier.

Yes, it will have Battlefield and Final Destination... at least, its own version.

No online play planned for now. Too complicated to set up.

It might have its own story mode. It could be a Subspace Emissary 2.

Don't worry everyone, I'm adding more characters. That's why I said starting roster.

A Windows Cursor will act as the replacement to Master Hand.

No microtransactions, will be released for free on Game Jolt and itch.io.

Doesn't come with a Character Creator but might come with a Stage Builder. Can't wait to see what you can come up with even with its limitations.

I do think platform fighters should take advantage of fighting game input systems to add more depth while using fewer buttons. Like hell yeah, let me do a quarter circle so I can turn Zetterburn's fireball into a gun that shoots real bullets to kill my opponents in real life.
