Researching for this may have left an impact on my Youtube algorithm for the next couple of weeks. A very cute impact. (Seriously, though, am I the only one getting "how to do box braids" video suggestions for weeks, every time I research for one black character's hair?)

Soooo I wanted to do Cara's Plantober this month?? First entry finally done. Plants. Are. EXHAUSTING.

Parsley wasn't on the list, otherwise i betcha i would have done "parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme". The reason I chose these plants is because... they are herbs that caught my eyes as herbs and my current LARP hyperfixation character is a girl who is a healer among other things, and she probably knows these plants well. I like that they are all kinda purple when they bloom.

Third prompt done! Maple wood has been used in production of musical instruments for ages now, so I put a guitar in for this one 🍁

PLANTOBER # 30 SUNFLOWER

Sunflowers are, as the name suggest, flowers that loves sun! No but really, for many years it was beleived that these flowers will always face the Sun, while in reality, as any other plant, they basically follow the light. Other than that, sunflowers can be both decorative or culinary plants. Seeds and pressed sunflower seed oil are both used in various ways in cuisine around the world. While they're obvious food source, sunflowers can also be planted as decoration, special focus type of plant in the garden. And this plant can reach up to 3 metres, and there are much shorter varietes, sunflowers of all types usually reach between 1.2 to 2 metres.

Other than cultivated plant roles, sunflowers are also popular theme in art (European paintings), and also often used as a symbol for peace, eco-friendliness, alternative ways of approach certain modern topics, acceptance and even religion!

So this bright plant indeed, like Sun, shines and brightens everyone life!

Amusingly, I expected her hair to be raven black with the purple hues at the bottom. Instead it turned more brown. It's not bad, but not what I thought would happen. haha.
