Hiya! I have another au for you! I'm loving our vampire rp, it's so good! I'm really enjoying it!
This one is a little different, with a darker Lucifer, which I'm really starting to love.
The idea is that after Adam and Eve were cast out, Lucifer and Lilith became extremely powerful, Lucifer could rival in power to the strongest archangels and maybe even god himself.
The idea in this is that after falling, Lucifer and Lilith blamed each other for the fall and separated. Lilith was queen of the lower rings, while Lucifer ruled the upper rings. He's more powerful than her because of his angel status, but he let's her do her own thing, as long as she's not causing trouble.
Lucifer eventually taps into the raw power of Hell, which slowly starts tainting his mind, he's still him but he can lose control sometimes. Heaven eventually starts to learn how powerful Hell is and what can happen to Lucifer and Liltih- power wise. So they start making an army, creating angels specifically for war.
Lucifer has a few angels in Heaven that speak to him in secret, angels that don't agree with Heavans rules and secretly. They keep him up to date on what Heavens up to, so he starts forging a plan after learning of the angelic army.
Once Adam and Eve die, and they arrive in Heaven. Eve starts to live her afterlife in peace, waiting for her children.
Lucifer learned of a new weapon Heaven was making, something that could control a part of Heavens power. Once he learns that new weapon will be Adam, Lucifer decides to take Adam for himself.
Luicfer manages to get himself back into heaven, without them knowing, he's shocked to see that he was completely remade, hopefully his memories were in tacked.
---
Lucifer materialized in a cage-like room, he had no idea something this dark and unkempt could belong in Heaven. It made him almost uneasy.
Lucifer: why would they keep their precious first man here?
The darkness was almost suffocating, like it was affecting the air itself. The angelic steel bars still managed to shine bright, using that light, Lucifer squinted inside the cage, his eyes widened as he saw the vague outline of a body, kneeling on the floor, a chain connecting to the back wall to a silver collar around their neck.
Lucifer: Adam? Buddy, is that you? Long time no see-!
The body moved, head tilting up, and looking ahead. The scrapping of heavy chains against the stone floor made Lucifer wince a tad. Why are they using such thick chains on him? He's a human, nothing special.
Lucifer: I know we left off on a bad note! But I'd like to make it up to you~ let me help you with whatever the HELL Heaven is doing to you, huh?
Lucifer stuck his arm through the bars, smiling as the metal started to bed and melt away. His smile stopped as a giant hand reached out, and grabbed his hand. The amount of strength was impressive, Lucifer was so confused- he followed the outline of the person as they stood.
Lucifer: you're a big fuck aren't you-?
Adam: w-will you help me? I-it hurts-
Lucifer: I can see that buddy, I'll help you! But you have to do something for me~
Lucifer pulled his hand away, and straightened his outfit. It's taking a lot of his power to stay in Heaven, hidden.
Adam: y-yes sir, what do you need?
Lucifer: stop with the formalities Adam! We've been friends- well, acquaintances for years now!
Adam: I-I'm sorry sir- I don't know you, Heavens never introduced u-us-. P-please forgive me f-for not knowing you
Adam starts to collapse, but manages to catch himself against the wall. Never heard of him? Lucifer is definitely confused now. Fucking Heaven, they really think there's a good enough reason to mess with a humans memories? Why Adam? Why did the angels pick him? It doesn't matter at the moment, Lucifer needs to make his deal, let Adam fall to Hell, and set his plan into motion.
Lucifer: i- uh... never mind that right now buddy, I'll explain everything later. If you make a deal with me, I can help you!
Adam: w-what do you need from me-?
Lucifer: oh, nothing much~ just your soul~ aand your loyalty, company, body amd whatever power you have~! All for your freedom. You will cone with me, stay with me, at my home~ you'll be free Adam, free to speak your mind, do whatever you want, within reason of course- and most importantly, think for yourself.
Lucifer smiled as Adam made his way over to the edge of the cage, he was unsteady but doing a good job at staying up right. Although that chain wasn't helping. Lucifer couldn't help but gasp, as Adam's face came into what little light the bars had. His eyes were gold. Brighter than any other angels, shone like Hell fire.
Lucifer whispered: you're perfect...
Adam: I'll take your deal- please, get m-me out o-of here- please
Lucifer: of course, Adam! All you have to do, is shake my hand~
Adam watched as a clawed, black ashen hand slipped through the bars. He felt uneasy about this man- angel? He looks familiar but then he was sure he'd remember someone that looked like that.
He reaches out weakly, grabbing Lucifers hand. He jumps and is amazed by the golden light the swirls around them, he can feel it running through his veins like blood. He couldn't help but follow the golden light. His angelic chain drops off his neck, only to be replaced by a golden one. Lucifer couldn't help but think how beautiful Adam looked, covered in gold. It was really his colour.
Lucifer looked on with awe as he saw Adam fully. His golden wings rested weakly against the floor, his eyes wide with that curiosity that Lucifer loved so much. He couldn't help but glare as he saw the cuts and bruises that littered his body and how thin he looked. He was definitely taller, but surely Heaven would feed the man.
Lucifer: great! Now, the fun part~
Adam stood back as Lucifer began to melt the steel cage.
Lucifer: there~. Now, we must be quick, we do t want any extra company, do we~?
Adam: n-no sir-
As Adam began to limp out of the cage, he stopped as Lucifer put his hand on his chest, forceful enough to push him back slightly.
Lucifer: now, none of that 'sir' thing Addie~. Even though I am now your king, I was your friend first. Do you know my name?
Adam tried to think of a name, his head started to pound, like he was reaching into some void.
Adam: n-no- I- Agh! It hurts to t-think- to remember
Lucifer glared at the flood, fucking Heaven. He smiled up at Adam, it wasn't his fault.
Lucifer: my name is Lucifer, the king of Hell~! But that last bit isn't important right now, let's go Adam.
Adam grabbed Lucifer's hand, and they walked to the middle of the room, he felt so safe with Lucifer. His hand felt perfect in his, like they were made to be together. Adam couldn't stop looking at him, he was beautiful. He's never seen eyes so red, or skin so smooth. He couldn't help but be fascinated by his clothes-
Lucifer: hold on tight Addie~ I won't drop you, but I need you to hold on
The floor underneath the. Burned to life, a burning circle with strange lettering appeared. Just as Adam was taking it in, he felt a gust of wind made him cover his eyes. When he opened, he was amazed to see Lucifers white and red wings, three sets of them! He's only seen a few angels with multiple sets of wings, but none were as beautiful as Lucifers. Adam couldn't help but reach out and graze a feather with his finger.
Lucifer: you'll get a good touch when we get home Addie~ now, say goodbye to the angels~
Fire from the circle surrounded them, the heat was almost unbearable.
The next thing Adam knew; they were falling.
---
The whole idea is a battle between Heaven and Hell. Lucifer is super possessive of Adam, originally using him as a weapon to help him bring down and take control of Heaven. But Lucifer can't help but start having feelings from Eden resurface, it's either a blessing or a curse that Adam doesn't remember anything. Maybe he can make the first man fall for him again, and they can rule over Hell and Heaven together.
Hopefully this is interesting in someway 💀
Okay- bye!
Oh this is SUPER INTERESTING!!! How do you come up with this stuff it's amazing. Also, I love possessive Lucifer lol
-
Adam saw a world bathed mainly in different hues of red, even the sky was red with a giant star.
What was this place?
Lucifer was torn between watching where he was flying and looking at Adams face that was filled with curiosity trying to figure out where the Hell he was.
Literally Hell.
Lucifer dipped down and made a way towards Morningstar Manor and he touched down lightly at the front of the house as he held Adam close.
Lucifer: Let's get you settled in okay? You know, before the physical changes catch up with you and wipe you out.
Adam didn't know what he was talking about but he didn't really care. He was finally out of that cage to never be chained up like an animal ever again.
Lucifer took him inside, first to the kitchen so the poor man could get something to fucking eat. It looked like he hadn't eaten since he died.
He got his chef to cook a lavish meal for Adam to make sure the first man was full.
Adam: Thank you...
Lucifer ran his fingers through Adams hair, loving how soft the brown strands were.
Lucifer: You'll need your strength.~

Why C3E51 worked so well (a DM’s perspective)
I have seen a lot of absolutely bananas critiques of C3E51 (thankfully not nearly as many around here, far more on Reddit, which I should not have visited). And the ongoing theme of those critiques is that Matt should not have imperiled former PCs, and if he brought them in should have either done lengthy side-bars with those characters or let them win the fight against Ludinis and have a chance to take him out themselves, since they’re ‘god tier’ or ‘high level’ and that makes ‘logical sense’. What these critiques really boil down to, IMO, are people who were really invested in the former campaigns upset that their faves didn’t get to do cool things, treating it more like a TV show than a game. But even as a TV show, that would have been disappointing from a narrative perspective. Because even in a TV show, this is a sequel spin-off show, starring new characters. The story is about THEM. And more importantly, the game is about the players and about telling their story.
So let’s break this down from a DM perspective. How do you build a Kobiashi Maru situation for your characters? For those of you who aren’t familiar, the Kobiashi Maru is a Star Trek term for a scenario designed from the jump to be unwinnable (Kirk beat it by creativity, but later admitted that he missed the point of it). In Star Trek this was done to test what a future officer would do if faced with certain failure. In a D&D game it’s a little more complicated. Part of it is to set up the BBEG, put their plan in motion, and set the stage for the next leg of the game. But it’s also to give your players, who are clearly into it, a darkest-hour scenario. Not every player group is going to be into facing down the Kobiashi Maru, and it’s clear from the aforementioned critiques that a lot of them are on Reddit. Power-gamers who always want to win are not going to enjoy this sort of storytelling, but players who are really into RP and working through difficult times and failures will eat this stuff up. And this is absolutely the sort of table playing on Critical Role. There is a level of trust there that can only be built after years of working together, and this was finally the moment when Matt could pay off years of planning and campaign-spanning set-up.
Matt carefully plotted the structure of this episode out to give maximum agency and impact to a party of dramatically under-leveled characters. And they knew going in they were under-leveled. This wasn’t a surprise, but a potential suicide run by people who knew they weren’t the heroes they needed to be, but were the only heroes in the right place at the right time to try anything. So they came up with as good a plan as they could, and executed it fairly well, all things considered.
They knew they couldn’t take on Ludinus directly (and this was a great way to demonstrate exactly how much he had planned and how long, to bring in elements from C2, hints we’ve had for years about Ludinis, only to reveal it went deeper than any of the characters could have imagined), so Matt gave them some winnable objectives. This is a great way to keep the characters invested in an unwinnable scenario: the ultimate outcome may be beyond the characters, barring some insane genius or incredible rolls, but they can still help. They can do something that will have a tangible impact on events and hinder the baddies enough to give them another chance at a rematch and a way to stop the apocalypse when they’re higher level. So Matt gave them the batteries: take out as many as you can. While this would not stop the ritual, I suspect that the more they took out the more Ludinis would have to drain his own power to make the key work, and the longer the process would take. Knocking out the feywild key, as well as multiple power sources turned what would have been an instantaneous event if they had done nothing into a more drawn-out affair which, I suspect, could be stopped or even reversed. It gave them a window to come back and demand a rematch.
Then we have the high-level PC allies, and how to play with those sorts of characters without pulling focus from the PCs. Matt handled this very well, by having the players roll for their former PCs, taking the specifics of their actions out of his hands and letting the dice of the former players decide. He also revealed that Keyleth’s involvement, and baiting Vax with Otohan’s permadeath poison, was key to Ludinis’ ritual, which was why she couldn’t just dive in and clean everything up. But again, because of this story, it ties less back to Keyleth and more back to Orym. That was the point of the attack on Zephrah, to get her attention by getting her to look into who did it and then coming to get some payback, but the little guy on the ground has always been caught in the middle. Orym has been Ludinis’ unwitting pawn from the off, his family’s deaths merely a means to an end, and that is vicious and amazing set-up for character growth for him.
Beau and Caleb had to be there by the logic of the story. It didn’t make sense that Caleb would sit out a world-ending event orchestrated by a Cerberus Assembly member after spending years trying to take them down. Beau would obviously go with him. It also made sense that they would be the only two there, because they were scouting when Ryn got taken down, and after that were trying to keep a low profile. Shit accelerated too fast for them to call in reinforcements.
Which is the in-story reason for them to be there, but isolated and vulnerable, making them useful allies and wildcards (who likely could have been more useful if ultimately failing as well, but failed early thanks to Liam and Marisha’s rolls). But they were still outmatched. I have no idea what the challenge rating of Otohan, Leliana, and Ludinis are, but we know Otohan was considered ‘beatable’ back in Bassuras. That indicates she’s the lowest CR, particularly with the glowing weak-spot on her back. But she can still wreck a level-20 PC if she gets the jump on her, which she did. And that meant that she remained a massive threat. Caleb and Beau were playing it smart, keeping to the shadows, but still got caught by Leliana. Between dice rolls, careful planning, and some great enemy design, Matt really set up a team that could take on high-level players and win. And he made it clear that Ludinis did not leave this to chance. He has the best people he could muster after 1000 years of planning. Nothing short of a miracle could have truly stopped them.
Which is why we cut back to Bells Hells. Because ultimately this particular story isn’t about Keyleth or Vax or Caleb or Beau or any other former PCs. This is about the current party being caught up in events much larger than them and having to rise to the occasion. This is the story of the schmucks sent in to take out the batteries, but who have personal beef with the big bads. Ludinis orchestrated the plan to attack Zephrah to bait Keyleth and draw out Vax, and Otohan carried it out. And he used Orym as a pawn throughout all of it. This makes taking them down, but especially taking Otohan down, the cornerstone of Orym’s personal quest. Letting an NPC take her down would be taking away a critical part of his motivation and goals, which is an absolute no-no for a DM. NEVER bring in a god-tier NPC and take away player agency or story beats. Especially never have them resolve important player goals and backstory events! Every NPC, even the powerful ones, are there to support the story the players are telling. So of course Keyleth wasn’t going to take out Otohan. Of course she wasn’t going to stop the ritual. Beau and Caleb might have been able to do something more if Liam and Marisha hadn’t rolled so badly for them, but ultimately, they had to get caught or fail in another way.
For the sake of gameplay, Bell’s Hells had to be the only functional team. They had to be the ants that were beneath Ludinis’ notice long enough to really accomplish something. And as much as it feels like they failed, they had minor victories: Laudna and Ashton took out more batteries, making Ludinis drain his own power to kick off the apocalypse. They only failed to take out Otohan’s backpack by 2 HP, which showed them that she was an achievable goal in the future. If they had rolled a little better, they probably could have taken her out entirely, which would have felt like a big accomplishment for them. Imogen made her mother pause in her assault before doubling down. This leaves open very interesting future beats for their interactions. Can she ultimately redeem her mother or would she have to take her out? Every step that Matt set up in this episode, from the reveals about Ludinis’ plans and Orym’s past, to Imogen’s interactions with her mother, to Chetney and likely Ashton finding themselves staring down their own backstories after the party split, was focused on this party, on getting them ready to step out of low-level play and advance.
And that’s the point of E51. It’s not a climax of the story, but the ultimate set-up. It’s putting all the pieces onto the board in a way that all the characters can now recognize. Yes, unless the players came up with something genius, the apocalypse was going to kick off, but their actions slowed everything down to a place where it could be combatted. Yes, the god-tier former PCs were always going to get neutered, because this is Bells Hells’ story, and you cannot have NPCs fix PC problems. They might have been able to do a little more before this happened, but the dice rolled.
And it’s honestly good for the PCs how things turned out. They have a clear objective, but are split up. This gives them great incentive to level up, explore character backstory, deal with their personal shit, get stronger, and then come back to kick the asses of all three of these villains (or possibly redeem one, we’ll see). Their powerful allies are now temporarily side-lined. Keyleth is badly hurt and will need time to recover. Caleb is collared and will need time to get that removed. Beau is likely up and moving now, but will need to safeguard Caleb for a while.
The Bells Hells are on their own. The Darkest Hour has come, and it’s time for them to rise up and go from nobodies to heroes. This is their true call to adventure. And as a DM, it was so cool seeing how Matt set up all the pieces over the campaign, only to pay them out in such a satisfying and motivating way in this episode.
#Critical Role#Critical Role spoilers#I really liked this episode#both as storytelling#and in terms of structure#this is how you do long-term setup#and payoff for a villain#he had planned for everything#but this annoying party of gnats muching up his works#and the gnats are going to be what takes him down#that is such a good way to let a low-level party get set up to take on a high-level villain!!#anyway#this is to combat some of the negativity I've seen toward this episode

I 'Lava' you
A short murder drones fanfic based on @dronebiscuitbat 's characters from their rp blog, @ask-elliot-doorman-fam, Tera and Kiara, Rad is here too :P
Kiara paced around the hideout cave, nervously fiddling with her fingers. "What if she doesn't like it? What if she thinks its too cheesy? what if-" Her rant is cut off by Rad trying to calm her down.
"Kia chill, this is Tera you're talking about, sure she may be tough, but every tough person i know has a soft and squishy side that loves this stuff" He says, as he's on the couch tuning a ukulele. "So, lets go over the plan one more time before shes back from checking the perimiter"
Kiara takes a deep breath, which doesn't help much to calm her nerves, "Okay, we're here becase you are 'practicing' for the short-story musical Mr.Roseheart is hosting,"
"Which is thankfully real, couldn't think of an exuse otherwise" He adds.
"Mhm, and hopefully she'll agree to sing along, oh robo-god i hope she'll sing along, she has to for this to work" Kia was nervous about that part, Tera had a beautiful voice, but only ever sang in the privacy of her room. Hopefully the hideout would be enough to bring her out of her shell a bit, no chances of others overhearing her here.
Before Kiara could linger on that thought, there was a sudden whoosh at the entrance, meaning Tera was back. Kia rushed to a seat, put on headphones, and brought up her laptop to a blank page, pretending to be writing something. No stories would be written today, only some of her thoughts going a million miles an hour, dont screw this up please work i have to tell her.
"okay, outside is clear, so Rad, why did you bring a ukulele again?" Tera asked, as she sat down on the other side of the couch.
"Oh, you know the musical Mr.Roseheart is gonna be hosting?" Wait, did she even know about that?
"The music teacher? Uh, yeah i think I've heard about that. Isn't it about a bunch of short-stories instead of one big one? My dad seems pretty interested in going." N had seemed exited when he heard about it, even wanted to audition.
Oh thank robo-god
"Yup, a friend of mine that auditioned asked if i could help with their story, so im here to practice"
"Ok, cool"
"And i was hoping you could help."
"Oh? with what? Guitar?"
"Vocals, i struggle on my own when theres multiple characters singing"
Oh no, she did not like the sound of that.
"I am NOT going anywhere near a stage and singing, no way!" Tera growled, which made kiara more nervous.
"No no no, just for practice, only here. The only audience being Kia" Rad said, as he motioned over to where Kiara was sitting. "The part I need you to sing is basically the same line over and over a few times anyway, please?" He was looking up at her with puppy eyes, hoping to convince her.
Tera hesitated for a moment, normally she wouldn't, but in this case, it was just the three of them, no prying ears to worry about, so why not. "Ugh, fine. But if a video of this starts floating around, you're dead. whats the song?"
"Do you know the song 'Lava'?" She should, Kiara made sure to show her, hoping Tera would listen to it for this.
"That cheesy lovesong between two volcanoes? Yeah, i think Kia showed that to me a while ago"
Good, so far the plan is working "Cool, I'll be the narrator, so all you need to sing is the volcano's part. Do you know the words?"
"He basically says the same thing over and over, so yeah, whenever you're ready." Wow, Kiara was suprised, this is going a lot smoother than she thought it would.
With Tera ready, Rad began to play, and sing suprisingly well, like he's practiced before....
"A long long time ago, there was a volcano, living all alone in the middle of the sea."
"He sat high above his bay, watching all the couples play, and wishing that he had someone too."
"And from his lava came, this song of hope that he sang out loud, every day for years and years" With her part coming up, Tera cleared her throat and began.
"I have a dream I hope will come true, that you're here with me, and I'm here with you, I wish that the earth sea and the sky up above will send me someone to lava"
"Years of singing all alone turned his lava into stone, until he was on the brink of extinction"
"But little did he know that living in the sea below, another volcano was listening to his song"
"Every day she heard his tune her lava grew and grew because she believed his song was meant for her"
"Now she was so ready to finally meet him above the sea as he sang his song of hope for the last time"
"I have a dream I hope will come true, that you're here with me, and I'm here with you, I wish that the earth sea and the sky up above will send me someone to lava"
At that part, Kiara began to remove her headphones and close her laptop, nervously making her way over behind Tera.
"Rising from the sea below stood a lovely volcano, looking all around but she could not see him"
"He tried to sing to let her know that she was not there alone, but with no lava his song was all gone"
"He filled the sea with his tears as he watched his dreams dissapear as she remembered what his song meant to her"
Tera was about to sing the next part, thinking nothing of it, until someone else began to sing, making her jump as she turned around to see Kiara.
"I have a dream I hope will come true, that you're here with me, and I'm here with you, I wish that the earth sea and the sky up above will send me someone to lava"
Tera was caught off guard, by both her singing and the fact that Kia reached out to hold her hand that was resting on the arm of the couch. Theres no way, is she....
As Tera realised what she was doing, Rad continued the song.
"Oh they were so happy to finally meet above the sea, all together now their lava grew and grew"
"No longer are they all alone with aloha as their new home, and when you visit them this is what they sing" Tera, now holding onto Kiara's hand, hoping this wasn't a dream, continued with her.
"I have a dream i hope will come true"
"That you'll grow old with me"
"And I'll grow old with you"
"We thank the earth sea and the sky we thank too"
"I Lava you"
"I Lava you"
"I Love you"
Tera's face was all blush, lighting up the cave with a lavender glow, along with Kia's equally bright white blush. They sat there staring at eachother in awe for a minute before Kia broke the silence.
"Was that too cheesy?"
Tera stood and said, "Not at all, you weren't practicing for the musical, were you?" she asked looking over at thad.
"Nope, this was all her idea" He motioned over towards Kiara.
"So did you like it?" She asked nervously.
"I loved it" Tera said, before placing a kiss on Kia's forehead, nearly sending her into a reboot.
"Oh! I think I need to sit down" Tera sat back down, with Kia sitting next to her.
As Tera put her arm around Kiara, she let out a sigh of relief, everything went perfectly, and she couldn't be happier.

Do you think Sasha's blatant dismissiveness of Marcy's interests was just a testament to her inability to care for things that didnt interest her, or do you think, perhaps, it's something that was developed over time as Marcy didn't stop trying to get them to watch War of Warlocks and play creatures and caverns?
I ask because, if I'm not mistaken, Matt once said they would sometimes play games together when they were alone and I always found it odd how the strategic side of CC didn't appeal to Sasha, which got me thinking if she didn't feel somewhat put off by Marcy's approach to the situation?
I quite like this interpretation because it adds another layer to their communication issues, but pre-amphibia Sasha definitely looked like someone who didn't give a chance to things that didn't outright interest her.
Sorry for the long ask and I hope I made sense here!
Thanks for the ask!
to be honest, I don't think it has anything to do with inability to care or reaction to Marcy's insistence that they watch WoW/play CC. I think that this is much more a testament to the state of their overall relationship, which allowed Marcy to do things no one wanted to do in their presence and allowed Sasha to be kind of mean about it, all while Anne panicked about how to handle the situation on the sidelines.
Sasha still played games and watched the film, paying attention enough to know the plot twist at the end and to know what kinds of things Marcy liked, she just wasn't very nice about it. I think it's more of a testament to how people can get comfortable with being casually mean to each other or bully each other even if they don't actually enjoy it. In the same way, it's easy for people to settle into a routine of being fine going through the motions during shared activities instead of discussing with each other and finding things everyone can enjoy. In Marcy's Journal, Marcy talks about how they all come to terms with the fact CC isn't something they all enjoy, and Marcy resolves to find something they can all do together!
(Also, and this is an aside, I suppose, very little is actually said about Sasha and CC, and it is the case IRL that sometimes people just don't like a game system. Sasha could have liked the strategy but hated the RP or vice versa, or the dice and number system could have been too frustrating for her to enjoy. D&D has strategy and RP elements, but it's far from the best in either direction. If you wanted a pure strategy game, you could probably just go back to Chess, and if you wanted a better RP system, you could almost certainly find a better one out there by an indie creator or big company! D&D just has brand recognition.)
I think that when it comes to Sasha, it's important to note that Sasha's character and arc don't pertain very much to the concept of pure "interest." That's a very "Marcy" or "Anne" thing. While everyone in the Calamity Trio has something to do with attachment, Sasha has much more to do with power and control. Sasha and Marcy maintain a relationship wherein they don't question each other and just go along with what the other does, backing them up even if they don't care about or for what they're doing. It's why Marcy has so much confidence that Anne and Sasha will be okay with the plan with Andrias, and it's why Sasha is so convinced that Anne and Marcy will just go along with her coup. This is a flaw in their relationship, not a feature.
Perhaps Sasha wouldn't give things she didn't care about a chance if she didn't feel it interested her, but I think it's probably more accurate to frame it as it being ignored if it wasn't beneficial. Canonically, we actually see that Sasha pays great attention to things that seem to disinterest her, even if it doesn't feel that way! That's part of what makes Sasha so interesting, at least to me

Welcome!
What this is: This blog is mostly dedicated to my Elden Ring OC Izar (and well, her companion Ensha – more about them below). There might also be other content (other games, DnD 5e, writing) unless I’ll feel the need to create specific sideblogs for that (unlikely, I lack the energy).
What I do: I’ll mostly share screenshots, headcanons, storytelling, and writing snippets. (Here's my tag list!) While this is not a pure RP blog I very much enjoy RPing, so feel free to shoot me a prompt/starter whenever you like! (For more information regarding RP, flip through the Stargazer's Cookbook over here!)
Who I am: You can call me Zari. I’m over 30, she/her. Not a native English speaker, so bear with me if I say strange things. Expect occasional ramblings about the glory of freelance life, and know that there is never enough coffee.
Izar Tarazed, Tarnished Astrologer
Izar barely remembers anything from the time before her awakening in the Lands Between – just her name and what she knew of the stars. However, the stars above the Lands Between are different, their lore mostly lost to her, so she gathers stories and bits of information wherever she can.
Her most treasured possessions are her telescope and her map-making tools.
Whenever she gets the chance, Izar will sit and work on her celestial maps, preferably beneath the golden light of grace, trying to figure out constellations and their possible meanings. Working on her maps also calms her down and helps her focus.
She’s often more driven by her astrological curiosity than by the ambition to become Elden Lord – she’ll confront Rennala mainly because she wants access to the library of Raya Lucaria, and Radahn because she wishes to set the stars back in motion.
Izar relies mostly on her sorceries – the Comet and Night Comet are her favorites – and only starts improving her skills with melee weapons and a shield when Ensha insists on teaching her.
Personality
Izar is a little geek when it comes to astrology and will talk about it with neverending enthusiasm. At a new place, its (potential) view of the night sky is usually the first thing she’ll check.
She values the friendships and alliances she makes, being protective of those she cares about; that might be both her greatest strength and her greatest weakness.
Upon meeting someone for the first time, she'll rather be calm and cautious, but much more confident, cheeky and bubbly once she feels comfortable.
The fact that she doesn’t remember who she was before bothers her more than she lets on.
Izar soon realizes that she isn't as ambitious about taking the Elden Throne as she maybe should be. Her true dream is running the Academy of Raya Lucaria and turning it into a welcoming place where knowledge is not hoarded but shared.
When upset, she can be pretty defiant, sarcastic and snappy.
Sir, That’s My Emotional Support Skeleton
Izar spares Ensha’s life when he attacks her at the Roundtable Hold.
This leads to them being sent out on a mission together to track down Latenna (which, of course, doesn’t go as planned). While they start out deeply suspicious of each other, teaming up only reluctantly, they eventually come to trust each other and, despite some challenges, become close friends, which leads to certain tensions considering his loyalty to Sir Gideon.
(I’m not entirely sure what Ensha is, but I’m leaning way more into the headcanons of the somehow animated armor/actual skeleton with some kind of relation to the ancient king mentioned in the description of the Royal Remains set, rather than just being some guy with a skull mask.)
Ensha will often travel with Izar, having her back and finding picturesque dungeon walls to lean against and ponder how on earth this careless astrologer can still be alive. (He's exaggerating, of course. Izar can definitely handle herself ... most of the time.)
Ensha tends to be more wary of others than Izar is. He's extremely perceptive and quite good at reading people (and finding things). He often encourages Izar to put in the work to improve her skills, and be more disciplined about her goals. However, he's also surprisingly fine with engaging in all kinds of mischievous shenanigans with her.
Since Ensha doesn’t speak, their communication process is a little rocky at first but improves once Izar gets better (and eventually good) at understanding his sign language. From then on, they'll often have some partially silent banter going on, and are able to communicate subtly if the situation calls for it.
Izar is also able to sense Ensha's emotions to a certain extent (more on that headcanon here).

Moraygill's Super Horrible Time: Part Two
Part one can be found here:
There are no big warnings for this part. It's mostly character interaction.
----
Everything hurts.
That was the first thing she noticed upon waking up. Everything hurt.
Distantly, she could recognize that there were voices. They were muffled and hard to understand over the pounding in her head, but they were there.
The next thing past the pain and the voices, was the smell. It smelled rich, like freshly turned dirt and old logs. It was vastly different from the salty sea spray that coated everything in the Coastalclan camp.
No. This couldn't be Coastalclan. She was somewhere dark that smelled of the deep forest. Not that she smelled that often.
Wispclan
Moraygill tried blinking her eyes open but the simple act seemed to work against her. The pounding behind her eyes became worse and her eyes themselves burned. She whined, trying to lay her paws over her eyes.
That didn't work.
Her right paw made it up just fine but her left one wouldn't move. The wrist didn't bend and it was agonizingly heavy.
The voices stopped.
Moraygill froze and listened intently as muffled footsteps started towards her. She growled as she felt the presence of another cat move in front of her.
Trying to open her eyes, she was greeted with slick black fur and red eyes. The cat looked concerned.
She growled t0 the best of her ability, though the sound was raspy and pathetic at best. It stuttered in her chest and made her feel worse than she already did.
The cat in front of her took a step back, looking her over, before turning and moving back to the other cat in the den. They resumed talking in hushed whispers and sent her pitying looks that she could hardly stand.
She wanted to speak up. To shout and screech about how she was fine and didn't need any help. But her throat and chest ached and her muscles screamed in protest as she curled up a bit more. She used her shoulder to block sight of the other cats.
She'd be dead if they weren't helping her, so now all she could do was take it and hope there were no major consequences.
Slowly, the black cat made it's way back over and moved to be in her line of sight. He motioned at his ears and Moray scrunched her face up in confusion.
The black cat carefully reached up to Moraygill's own ears, causing her to flinch back. He was persistent, though seemingly scared too, and she felt his paw move against her ear.
Distantly, somewhere off in the back of her mind, she wondered if her ear had been torn or something.
But no, the tom just removed a wad of moss from her ear and suddenly her hearing was better on that side.
“Needed those to draw the water out.” He spoke softly, voice light and almost feminine. He moved to take out the other wad and she didn't move as he did. “Widowmarch found you half dead on the shore just outside our territory. I'm surprised you've woken up as soon as you have.”
Moraygill gave him a confused look and huffed.
He continued, addressing her confusion, “It's been close to two days since the storm.” His tail flicked anxiously. “We haven't been able to tell your clan that we have you yet. We planned to send a messenger today since we're sure the storm has stopped.”
Moraygill took a deep breath and let a flicker of annoyance run through her body at the fact she couldn't talk back.
“Do you think you could try drinking something?” The cat from the entrance of the den asked. She was large and fluffy, with black, orange, and white fur. She looked to have spider webbing strewn throughout her fur. “Addershade here said you would be dehydrated when you woke up.”
The black tom rolled his eyes and huffed. He sent a look back at the fluffy she-cat and she just shrugged. Then he turned back to her with a sigh. “Would you like some water?”
Moraygill took a moment to really take note of how awful she felt. Her mouth was dry and her head was still pounding. Her throat and chest burned and ached like she had a fire raging in them.
She nodded softly, unwilling to hurt herself more.
The cat at the entrance gave a big grin and rushed off, ignoring who Moraygill assumed was the herbalist as he tried to say something.
He flattened his ears and huffed in an offended manner, staring out of this den after the fluffy she cat. It gave Moraygill a moment to truly inspect him.
He was slender and almost shiny furred, the black fur casting off colors like purple and green at certain angles. She knew his eyes were red, but she hadn't noticed his ragged ears until now. They were clawed up but also had what looked like a claw pierced through his left ear. She couldn't tell much more than that.
He didn't seem to have any visible scars peeking through his fur nor any signs of illness or starvation. Honestly, he looked like he was in better condition than most cats she personally knew.
Soon enough, the she cat returned with a soaked wad of moss in her jaws. “Here,” She purred with a soft smile, setting it down in front of Moraygill. “I know you've already heard us say our names, but I'm Widowmarch, and this is my brother, and the clan herbalist, Addershade.” She explained.
Moray looked between them before taking the wad of moss into her own mouth and biting down so the water would squeeze out.
“Your paw was pretty badly messed up too.” Widowmarch continued on, “Two of your claws were ripped out and your whole paw seemed to just be shattered.”
Moray snapped her head up to look at her then.
“Oh hush.” Addershade snapped at his sister. “What's really wrong is that yes, two of your claws were torn out, and the two toes they were on are broken. I have them splinted but because of the break, I doubt they will heal correctly.”
Moraygill's ears flipped back and she scrunched up her face in warning.
“You should still be able to walk once it heals.” Addershade mumbled and curled his tail over his paws nervously. “It's gonna be an adjustment, but I don't think it will stop you from doing your clan duties.”
Shifting a bit, Moraygill gave her injured paw a good look. It was wrapped in cobwebs and leaves, both of which were soaked through with blood. She cringed and just looked away. Not like she could see what was underneath them anyway.
Instead, she tried to shift her legs under herself so she could stand. The action seemed to panic the other two cats in the den, and Addershade started to say something.
But Moraygill was determined to stand.
And then it seemed she was falling.
Her legs crumbled under her, jerking her down and to the side as Widowmarch rushed forward for her to fall against.
“You're too weak right now!” Addershade chirped out through what seemed to be his calming panic. “You have extensive bruising and there's nothing left for your body to run on. You haven't eaten or drank anything since we found you.”
Moraygill glared at him. Sure, he was right, but stars, did this whole situation make her fur stand up. Here she was, leaning against a wispclan cat. Being helped by the clan that stole Coastalclan's treasure. She felt like a traitor just being here.
Though… maybe she could admit that Widowmarch made a nice nest buddy… her fur was soft and acted as a nice cushion.
Moray didn't register her eyes drifting closed or her head start to tilt over into Widowmarch's side. Didn't register how comfortable all this felt until the other she cat started to purr softly and began grooming the fur around her spine down.
She barely recognized her own purr starting up at some point as her eyes slipped shut.

Corona having a sun-based religion is so real. Do you think they worship the moon too or see it as evil in some way? I kind of headcanon that kingdoms closer to Corona hear the story of the Sundrop while kingdoms closer to the Dark Kingdom hear the story of the moonstone, which is why Rapunzel an co. didn't know that the moonstone even existed until Edmund told them?
I don't think Corona worships the moon, nor do I think they think it's evil. It exists as its own deity (the Sun's brother), but not worthy of their attention.
I did a whole RP once (long before the series) based on the premise that the Moon god was jealous of his sister and so decided to select someone to be his avatar. He chose Eugene (or, rather, Flynn). But since Eugene wasn't chosen at birth the way Rapunzel was, having the Moon choose him completely changed his personality, but only by night.
Here! Have the prologue! (Note: I wrote this twelve years ago.)
The magical history of Corona all started with the Sun. From the Sun, a golden drop fell, and from that drop, a magical flower grew, and around that flower, a religion was formed. Shamans and priestesses raised awareness of the Sun Lily, and of the Sun herself. And the people didn’t realize it, but the shamans and priestesses did not imagine the songs and stories they passed on to the people. They were actually told them by the Sun in vision and dream. For she had deliberately let that golden drop of sunlight fall and had nurtured the magic flower that had grown from it until people had found it. That flower was meant for great things. The Sun had a brother, the Moon. He was hardly looked at by the people of Corona, and gave them only reflected light, reflected from the shining face of his sister. In the old days, the people hid from the Moon, and spoke tales of the evils he committed. Now these! These were stories, made up by the people, and were given to them by no one but themselves. Because of this, when the stories reached the ears of the Moon, he grew angry and jealous. He tried to reason with his sister, and she was willing to set the record straight, but the people’s ways had been set, and while they could grow to accept the Moon and not fear him, they never did love him the way they loved the Sun. Many centuries passed, and one day, the Sun’s gift was finally put into motion. Her sacred Lily was plucked and prepared into a broth, which was fed to a queen, who gave birth to a beautiful little girl who now bore the mark of the Sun herself – golden hair and the power to grant life. It was now that the Moon remembered his old jealousies, now that the Sun’s chosen was revealed at last. Even after her power had been taken from her, she had been able to grant life, and was revered as the Sun’s daughter. And so, the Moon began to devise a plan. He bide his time and plotted and thought. And chose.

Looking for RP
Hey y'all. Chronic illness has been kicking my ass (as always), so I'd love to potentially write some literate RP that isn't too focused on reply length. I would love something with some well-developed characters and an interesting premise if we're thinking of something more long-term, and potentially a more permapreg/frequent birthing scenario, so likely something fantasy/sci-fi/historical. However, I'm definitely open to some short-term birthing scenes as well, which could be more slice-of-life if desired! I write carriers exclusively, and I'm looking for seeders, caretakers, or support, though the gender doesn't matter to me. I write nonbinary or female characters, who are usually switches or subs. Plenty comfortable writing more dominant characters, and I do love writing characters who are very capable leaders who have to learn to be vulnerable to accept help during pregnancy and birth as they struggle. I have plenty of scenarios to offer up, though I'm also willing to accommodate quite a bit depending on what you're looking for. Love almost any genre as well. I have an F-list that I can link in DMs. :) Looking to write some really hard births at the moment. My messages are open- please, message with more than just a hello, and please don't make me do all the planning myself. ^^
Kinks/will write (not expansive- feel free to inquire about anything in DMs)- Late pregnancy, rapid preg/permapreg, difficult labor/birth, heavy water breaking/messy birth, clothing birth, birth complications (unplanned multiples, large offspring, bad timing/situation), partner providing pleasure during tough birth, partner character potentially having preg/belly kinks, heavy lactation/draining, pregnancy struggles (overheating, exhaustion, fainting, swelling, soreness, illness, weakness, etc.), active bellies, belly noises, cravings, morning sickness, nausea, hyperemesis gravidarum, belly issues (poor digestive system, gas, aches, food poisoning, bloating, motion sickness, allergies), some stuffing/chugging, some feeding, public humiliation (public labor/birth, public sickness, etc), partner support, possessiveness, praise, worship, romance, cockwarming, bdsm/rough sex/masochism, dom/sub dynamics, risky sex, teasing, aphrodisiacs, ABO, monsters, bloodplay. Love using pregnancy and belly kink as a vehicle for vulnerability- so usually involving discomfort/struggle/some pain for the carrier. That doesn't mean it has to be exclusively bad, though- I would love to have the carrier find a genuine relationship they're happy in and have support in that, despite the difficulty of the birth and pregnancies.
Limits/will not write- Underage/ageplay content, incest, hyper, vore, unbirth, racism/transphobia used as kink, protag death, nonconsent portrayed as romance (cnc is fine, and I write very dark themes regularly- they just need to be shown as dark.)

Something that really made me go crazy inside were the unexpected sweet moments from ep 4 of The Ravening war
Karna the most cutthroat person of the group, who had sold out Amangeaux time and time again letting her leave to flee with her sun, wrecking her plans but moving her to actual tears.
Colin leaving deli after baring his heart and soul and going to take care of raphaniel who definitely needs the support after the mental breaking moments he's had. Giving the little banana kid and his mom money. even though he knows he can never wash that stain away he knows what its like to grow up poor and without your dad.
Amangeaux and raphaniel's unexpectedly tender reunion. Despite the machinations raphaniel tried to put into motion its clear they might have actually been good friends.
Raphaniel losing his mind because after being essentially ostracized by the church after mistepping he longed to reunite with that feeling that accepted him heart and soul and yearning for it so much that he takes off after seeing the mushroom people and is the one to accpt the spores into his body.
just this is such a great fucking cast, their RP is top tier and does not make me feel normal. JUST OMG, I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE LOSING MY MIND VER THESE INTERACTIONS RIGHT?
#the ravening war spoilers#the ravening war#the scrumptious scoundrels#bishop raphaniel charlock#colin provolone#queen amangeaux epicee du peche#karna solara#the ravening war episode 4#the ravening war the light and the shadow#i can't believe the season with still a deep amount of subterfuge and deception there are moments of compassion and care

also tubbo fucking please. his plan to kill q!forever includes lagging out his computer so much he can’t fight back. this is why you’re in negative rp point debt my man
Yeahh I hope either his plan changes or the admins step in 😭 instantly killing Forever would be so disappointing after the potential for rp that this arc has. I can't imagine if someone had used lag to instantly kill Forever in the second stream of the Happy Pills Arc, we would've missed all the great streams not just from Forever but also from Bagi, Cellbit, Pac, Fit, and I think Foolish and Jaiden as well. The buildup of the narrative and tension and the ability for multiple ccs to get involved is part of what makes it so entertaining for viewers and ccs alike
exactly ^^^ forever is doing Big Things™️ that is purposefully involving the other islanders, by openly threatening their eggs. he’s got big plans (hell even counting out the days for his character’s story)
as much as i love tubbo and can appreciate his buck wild insane ideas, it’ll be fun for no one for him alone to kill The Evil Entity/Parasite/Dark Corruption making the president of the island turn on everyone, with. game lag. not even that, it won’t kill him instantly, his plan is to lag him out then chainsaw through his THOUSANDS of totems for ~20 mins until he’s out.
honestly i dont think he’ll go through with it, if he’ll have it all ready and confident to actually do it before forever’s actual plans go into motion, but. tubbo my guy why was this your first and only plan here

We Need to Talk About Fresh Cut Grass.
I haven't seen anyone mention a certain dynamic in Critical Role Campaign 3, and it's beginning to make me dread tuning in on Thursday nights. While this batch of characters hasn't really shown cohesion with each other yet, there's one in particular that hasn't been challenged, and it's hurting the plot and the development of the other characters.
FCG is following a classic pattern of abuse.
- If someone is wrestling a nuanced issue, they boil it down to its most black and white components and argue their side until everyone else shuts down.
-They evangelize constantly, while having little to no understanding of how Avandra works or what devotion actually entails. When a party member expresses healthy ambivalence about the gods, they get pushy and whiny.
- Despite Dancer telling them, early on, that she wants nothing to do with them, they fixate on her and track her down, demanding her help with something that's above her pay grade. When she very reluctantly agrees, they tearfully love bomb her.
- FCG regularly hits Ashton with a car salesman line: What's it going to take to get you to believe in the gods? When it's revealed that Ashton has Titan blood, FCG has the temerity to ask them if the reason they hate the gods is because the gods tried to wipe out the Titans. Ashton has repeatedly said that they don't hate the gods, they just don't have any reason to be devout.
- When Fearne makes a pact with Tevan, FCG is overjoyed. They don't care that Tevan works for Asmodeus, or that Fearne made the pact purely because Tevan is sexy, and there's probably going to be unpleasant consequences for this alliance. She's going through the motions of religion, and that means FCG is Winning an Argument.
- FCG is wired, on paper and in RP, as a time bomb. If they take too many stress points they become a weapon. The party deals with this not by challenging the cleric's motives, or teaching them to maintain boundaries. They just roll over and do whatever the Aeormaton wants so they don't get sliced to ribbons.
Here's the thing: I really like Sam Riegel. I think he's a really competent actor with a nose for turning comedy into drama when it counts. Scanlan and Veth demonstrated that beautifully. Even Taryon, who was designed to be irritating at first, became incredibly endearing by the time he left the party. But we've just passed episode 69, a point in c1 and c2 where each party had found their feet and could call each other family. In c3, Orym is grappling with responsibility and grief by himself. Ashton is having panic attacks about huge revelations surrounding their identity, while Chet and Laudna rope Imogen into a dubiously legal parasailing adventure that almost gets them killed. And when Orym grieves, FCG comforts them with what amounts to "hey, at least you aren't an Aeormaton and you can experience being humanoid! Isn't that cool, and something that I'm not openly saying I'm jealous of?"
I don't have perfect vocabulary for why FCG makes me so mad. I just want someone - Ashton, or Orym, or one of Matt's NPCs - to sit down with that weirdly childlike tin can and force them to examine their own self obsession. Until they can stop self deprecating, derailing plans, and trying to control everyone else, they're going to be a truly shitty cleric.

Lumine's Birthday (9/12) Event [submissions OPEN]
"Okay, listen up everyone! The Traveller is currently away to deliver a package to someone in the city as part of a commissions, so this is the perfect time to set my plan into motion!"
The Pixie cleared her throat, drumrolling playing in the background as she revealed a fancy, colorful banner.
"Ta-dah! I present to you, Lumine's birthday event! Her birthday is exactly one week away now and I just know she will try to let it pass without anyone noticing."
"Not on Paimon's watch though! I understand that it'll be a hard day for her because she has to celebrate it away from her twin, so let's try everywhere we can to cheer her up and make it an amazing experience!"
How to participate?
Submit or send a birthday message and/or describe what kind of gift your muse/character would give to Lumine.
I will hold onto all of them and feature them in a big post on Lumine birthday next week (December 9th). You can include graphics, etc. but this is definitely not a must! :3
Basically the idea behind is that all of the new friends she made at Teyvat would try to cheer her up on her birthday. <3
Multi-muse blogs: Please specify which one of your muses the message/gift is from. You can also send them from multiple muses, of course!
Duplicates are no issue! I will also include the individual URLs of the blogs who submitted something!
Deadline
December 7th at 10 PM GMT+2
This will give me time to compile a masterpost on the 8th so it's ready to post on the 9th.
NOTE: I know the Traveller has no 'canon' birthday, but December 9th is simply the day I chose for Lumine because I thought the zodiac sign (Sagittarius) fit her very well. I also love doing birthday RPs/interactions so yeah.
If this flops, it never happened.
#;; ic#;; lumi's birthday event#// me praying this won't be a total flop and we'll at least get a couple of submissions

A night to remember
Marcell Blackwood (oc) & Sage Leighton (oc) 272 words Summary: Sage is thinking of fleeing her engagement to an ally of the Atreides. Only the duty to her minor house and family prevents her. Marcell has his sights set on her and a plan comes into motion.
Fuel a writer's fixation by liking & reblogging their work!
Planet Kaitain, a home to many from every house in the known universe. Marcell was residing there on business, looking out for their houses interests for the betterment of his Great Houses interests. House Harkonnen. A debt his forefathers had been unable to pay, and now the responsibilities of it resided on his shoulders.
All in all, it wasn’t the worst trade to align with. The Harkonnens were filthy rich. One of the bigger names to come from nothing. They’d once been a minor House themselves, having crawled their way to Arrakis and rooted themselves in all that was worth taking root. Marcell couldn’t fault them for their brutalistic and efficient nature.
Kaitain was a whole different ballgame to the arenas of Geidi Prime. No less conniving, a shadow in every corner. Even at this lavish event the palace was holding, he found himself networking and triangulating his moves. There was an event going on nearly every week. This one was for some house or another he had no interest in learning. He was there to talk to the people he had business with and be on his way.
Then he caught sight of her.
Moving through the crowd of lords, ladies, barons, counts and the like, Marcell approached the woman seemingly without a consort. Hand on the table, trying to get her dress uncaught from her shoe. Marcell bent down onto a knee to gently untangle the delicate fabric from her heel. His hand wrapped around her ankle to hold her leg up as he did so. Pulling up and straightening in front of her, he smiled.
“I’d burn that dress.”

A Farewell to Remember
Synopsis: After staying in Japan to deal with family business, it is time for Jotaro to go back to America. Yet, he, Lia, and Noriaki decide to go out drinking as a late Cairo celebration and goodbye to him.
That night, the dizziness of the alcohol ends bringing up some secrets, and making the situation escalate in an unexpected way.
CW: Alcohol, drunk sex, DP, chocking, protected and unprotected sex, cream pie, threesome, oral, inappropriate stand usage.
A/N: Ayo, first time posting smut!
This is a little thing that was born thanks to some lovely people in a discord server who have been holding me at gunpoint to allow myself to be self-indulgent/lh. While you don’t need the context of the RP this is settled in, I want to clarify it is situated after the events of SDC (all characters are adults). Lia and Noriaki are already dating and living in Japan, while Jotaro is single and moved to the States.
Of all the ways Lia would expect to spend an evening with Noriaki, going drinking wasn't on her list.
After the redhead had told her of the idea, she expressed her thoughts, reminding him once again that she nor him were the kind of people that do such a thing.
However, as Noriaki explained that he had planned that along Jotaro, as a way to spend time before he left back for the States, she couldn't find the strength to say no.
After all, it was something they should've done before just as all normal friends do, right? And at that point, anything that gave their lives at least a bit of sense of normalcy was welcomed.
Taking one last look at herself in the mirror, she went to the living room, where Noriaki had been waiting for her, comfortably checking a textbook while seated down.
“What place did you say we were going to?”
“An Izakaya, pretty much like any bar. It’s not that far from here either, so don’t worry” He raised a brow as soon as he saw her, moving to stand up.
His reaction made Lia stop in her tracks, wondering if perhaps her clothing wasn’t “appropriate” to the Japanese dress code, a thing that still tended to take her by surprise at times.
“Is… everything ok?” she hugged herself sheepishly, following the redhead’s gaze as he looked her over.
“Yeah, yeah. It’s just…” He placed his hands on her waist, giving her a cheeky smile, “You’re making me consider calling Jotaro and telling him we’re not going”
She scoffed at his words, rolling her eyes as she tried to ignore the heat on her cheeks.
“If you think I’ll let you do that after I just finished getting ready, you’re very wrong”
He chuckled, giving her a quick peck on the lips before moving away, guiding her to the door.
•••
Thankfully, the place wasn’t as crowded as one would expect for a bar.
First thing they did upon arriving was look for Jotaro, thankful that his height made it easier to spot him.
A few feet away from the entrance of the building stood Jotaro, a cigarette hanging from his lips as he ignored a groupie of girls muttering between themselves and sneaking glances towards him, before giggling together.
Lia quickly motioned the direction where their friend was waiting, playfully elbowing Noriaki.
“Better save him before some fierce girls jump at him”
Chuckling at her words, the pair was quick to approach him, their friend moving from his spot as soon as he noticed them.
As Noriaki and Lia were about to greet him, he hurried them inside, not wanting to have to deal with the risk of those girls getting near him.
Thankfully, they were able to get on a boot far from the main area, where most of the crowd had been staying.
As soon as they were seated, an overly friendly waitress, who wasted no time on explaining things to Lia after watching her struggle with choosing a drink.
After that, she left and arrived with their orders in record time, along with an appetizer.
“Huh, I thought bars didn’t have waitresses” Lia watched as the waitress walked away, before taking a tentative sip of her drink, her eyes lighting up as the sweet flavor covered any bitter trace of alcohol she had expected.
“Guess we should bring Jotaro along more often to get special treatment”
Hearing him click his tongue, the pair laughed.Taking a larger sip of her drink, Lia eyed the waitress away, resting her arms on the table and her head on her hands, keeping the straw in between her lips, taking small sips in between sentences.
“Y'know… she was actually kinda pretty”
“I'm not here for that and you know it”
“Jeez, I never said you were!” She rolled her eyes at his words, “…but at this point Polnareff is going to have grandkids before you do anything”
“That would be concerning”
“That's what I'm saying!” She slammed a hand on the table, sitting straight, “How do you know you don't like dating someone without even trying it in the first place!”
Jotaro tipped down his hat, ignoring her complaints as he took a sip of the wine he had ordered.
“What about the girl in the States… What was her name?
“Marina-chan?”
“Yes!” She quickly thanked Noriaki, before turning back to Jotaro, “You don't fully know her yet– she could be nice! Not all girls are the same!”
“You're all equally annoying”
She gasped, dramatically putting a hand on her chest as she leaned in Noriaki, making him chuckle at her expression.
“How dare you!”
〜〜〜
As time passed, drinks kept arriving at the table, and empty glasses leaving.
The trio took the chance to catch up with whatever topic was laid on the table, the alcohol invading their systems slowly clouding their senses, leaving room for more personal and sentimental topics, such as the events in Cairo.
At one point, Noriaki started to narrate the events of his recovery, way more lighthearted than he had when asked about it in the past.
“OH I-!” Lia suddenly raised from her seat slightly, pointing a finger towards Jotaro’s face, “I remember you left Japan as soon as Noriaki tried to live normally after all the shitshow in Cairo!”
“Good grief, are you seriously going to give me crap over this after so long?”
“Yessss” She flopped down on her seat, crossing her arms with a pout, “You were the one here for Nori, and yet you left!”
“…I had my reasons”
“Better hear them then, otherwise I. call. Bullshit!”
“Maybe he didn’t want to see DIO’s leftovers” Noriaki joined her teasing, chuckling as Jotaro kept muttering things under his breath.
After a few: “Come on, Jojo!” “Why are you so shy all of the sudden?” Jotaro's patience ran thin, making him snap drunkenly at the pair.
“I LEFT because if I didn't, I might have told Lia I liked her while you two were dating, you idiot!” Both went quiet after hearing his words, trying to make their mind focus on what he was saying, “And what would that have made me?! You were fucking shitting your guts out through a hole and I try to make a move?!”
“Yeah, right! And I'm Queen Elizabeth” she burst out laughing, not taking his words seriously “Come on man! ‘s that the best excuse you could think of?”
He clicked his tongue in annoyance, downing the rest of his drink in one swig.
Still giggling, Lia leaned forward, snatching his hat before he could pull it down and hide his face.
“Say it on my face and I maaaay believe ya!”
Suddenly, he grabbed her arm by the wrist, looking at her in the eyes.
He seemed to hesitate for a moment, yet, his mind wasn’t in its clearer state, causing him to speak lowly without thinking twice about his words.
“Why do you think I chose the states?” He took the opportunity to yank his hat back, letting go of her as he put it back on, sitting down as if nothing had happened, “I was hoping to find you by chance. Just my fucking luck you decided to move to Japan that year.”
Before Lia could fully process his words in the short moment of clarity her mind seemed to have, she heard Noriaki laughing beside her, before being pulled to his side by an arm around her waist.
“Jotaro-kun…! Who knew you had feelings in that stony, dry heart of yours.”
The redhead’s laugh brought her back to her thoughts, giggling dumbly with him as their friend leaned back on his seat.
“In all seriousness though─and I don’t mean to offend…” He gave Jotaro an innocent smile, his eyes showing a whole opposite emotion “It’s hard to imagine it working, Lia-chan needs quite the… special attention”
Before she could question what he meant with that, she felt Noriaki’s hand move lower from her waist, stopping on her thigh as the tips of his fingers slipped under her thigh-highs, giving her flesh a light squeeze.
His actions made her breath hitch, finding herself unable to pull her gaze away from him as she leaned further into his side.
“Oh? Are you planning on reminding me of that special attention once we're back? I think I may have forgotten about it~”
His drunken blush intensified as she placed a hand on his chest, batting her lashes as she kept looking at him.
“Fuck sake, I'm still here”
They snapped out of their bubble, giggling to each other at Jotaro's awkwardness.
“What about it? You might learn a thing or two about how to win someone, right, Nori~?”
Oblivious to the reaction and thoughts her words had brought up inside the redhead's mind, Lia kept giggling, teasing Jotaro as a few more drinks made their way to the table.
Not too long after, Jotaro suddenly stood up, complaining about how he was tired of hearing their teasing, saying it was time to leave.
Excusing himself by saying he didn't trust Lia and Noriaki getting to their apartment in their current state, he walked them there, ignoring the girl as she kept her teasing while clinging to both their arms for support.
•••
Once at the apartment, Lia was the first to walk inside, clumsily taking out her boots, before whispering something in Noriaki's ear, and stumbling to their room as she laughed.
During all the walk home, she had not noticed how quiet the redhead had been, not saying anything after leaving the Izakaya.
Noticing this, Jotaro looked at his friend, wondering what was going through his head after he stood there even after Lia had left.
With his mind being too blurry to think, he simply ignored that, turning around to leave.
“You're leaving already?”
He stood speechless, trying to fully process his words.
Sensing his hesitance, the redhead chuckled, finishing taking off his shoes and looking at Jotaro over his shoulder.
“She did say I could help teach you a few things, didn't she?”
Without any other word, he moved further into the apartment and in the direction of his room, leaving Jotaro behind.
〜〜〜
Inside the room, Lia had been struggling with taking off her clothes.
A task that shouldn’t take her more than a few minutes to complete, now seemed like one of the hardest things she had ever done, the alcohol quickly making her frustration increase.
Just as she finally shrugged off her shirts and stood only on her underwearーand threw her clothes somewhere in the room to care the next dayーshe felt a pair of arms sneak around her waist from behind, making her squeal as she felt hot breath on the side of her neck.
“Need a hand?”
As soon as she heard Noriaki’s voice, said squeal turned into giggles.
Turning around on his grasp, she put her arms around his neck as she wasted no time kissing him.
She felt Noriaki smirk into the kiss, reciprocating her kiss with a hunger that took her breath away.
Feeling his tongue invade her mouth, Lia mewled into the kiss, desperately trying to match the fervor of his movements as her hands tangled in his hair, softly pulling at the longer strands on the back.
Once oxygen was needed, Noriaki pulled away, moving to nip and kiss her neck, chuckling as Lia tilted her head back to make the job easier for him.
Just as she was getting lost in the sensation of his lips on her neck, Lia noticed a looming figure in the doorway, making her gasp and try to push Noriaki’s face up.
Her gaze switched between the redhead and her friend at the door, watching in confusion as she waited for one of them to say something, just anything to explain why the taller man was there.
Seeing her too focused on his friend, Noriaki grabbed her by the chin, redirecting her attention towards him.
“…Nori?”
“You said you wanted me to teach him a few things, didn’t you?” Her eyes widened slightly, making him chuckle, “Would you be nice and help me with it?”
She felt a weird sensation building up, making a chill run down her back.
Noriaki had never acted in such a way.
It was new and oddly exciting for her.
Shyly, she nodded, making him chuckle.
Placing a kiss on her forehead, he gently guided her to the bed, making her sit on the edge as he sat behind her, placing Lia between his legs.
As soon as she was seated comfortably, his hands went back to roam over her body, his hands squeezing all over as he kissed the skin on the back of her neck, making her sigh and lean into his touch.
Slowly, one of his hands slid down, teasing over her underwear.
Lia whimpered, wiggling her hips as a way to ask for more, feeling Noriaki softly biting in between her neck and shoulder as his fingers went under her panties in a quick movement, wasting no time sliding his fingers along her folds.
Her whimpers turned into small moans as the redhead’s fingers rubbed her labia and clit, making her buck her hips, searching for more friction.
“I don’t think you’ll be able to see much by just standing there”
Hearing hesitant, heavy steps, Lia moved her gaze up, finding Jotaro’s gaze looking all over her. As soon as it crossed with hers, he swallowed hard.
A sudden finger entering her brought Lia’s attention back to her boyfriend, her hand going to grip his thigh as she moaned in surprise and leaned her head back, resting against his shoulder.
Slowly, he started to speed up his motions, adding another finger as his other hand went to cup one of her breasts over her bra.
“Can’t see much with these either, can you?” He stopped his movements, keeping his fingers buried inside her, making the girl whine out Noriaki’s name “Be nice and help with these, I have my hands full at the moment”
With her mind already clouded by the pleasure she was feeling, Lia quickly raised her hips, hurrying Jotaro to obey.
Hesitantly, he moved his hands to the edge of her underwear, pulling them down slowly, unconsciously letting out a groan at the sight of her wet core swallowing his friend’s fingers.
“Actually… I think I have a better idea” He slid out his fingers agonizingly slowly, chuckling at Lia’s complaints “You won’t learn anything by just watching”
His other hand moved to unhook her bra, quickly working on taking it off.
Jotaro just stared at the pair, unable to guess if the redhead meant it seriously or not.
“Come on now, it is rude to leave a lady waiting. Right, koneko-chan?”
Before Jotaro could comment anything about the pet name, he felt a hand on his wrist tugging on his arm, way weaker than intended. Crossing his gaze with Lia’s and noticing the already present annoyance in it, he allowed her to guide his hand between her legs.
She hissed at the pressure he put on her, clearly using more force than needed, making her grip his wrist tighten as a cue to correct his actions.
Noriaki observed as his friend’s fingers slowly fell into a rhythm comfortable enough to Lia. Once they did, allowed his hand to move back to her chest, toying with her nipples.
Taking advantage of the way her mind focused only on the pleasure she was feeling, the redhead slowly slipped down her back the hand that had been working on her, still slick with her juices, moving it to the ring of muscle on her ass.
His action made her abruptly lunge forward, seeking hold on whatever she could, her free hand gripping Jotaro’s shoulder as her back arched.
What she didn’t notice was that her new position left her face inches away from her friend’s, the raven haired man only being able to focus on her expression as her breath fawned over his face.
Feeling his stare over her, Lia crossed her half lidded gaze with his, whimpering.
“J-Jojo”
It probably was the weirdness of the situation making it all feel like a fever dream, or the work of the warm wine he had drank earlier, but before he realized, his gaze was locked on her parted lips as he slowly moved forward, closing the distance.
However, just as his lips were about to brush Lia’s, he felt something suddenly wrapping itself over his lips and around his body, harshly yanking him back, pulling him down into his knees.
As soon as he recovered from the sudden movement, he noticed that what was wrapped around his body and bounding his limbs were green tendrils.
Realizing what was going on, he raised his gaze, finding Noriaki resting his head over Lia’s shoulder, watching him with a raised brow.
“I may be allowing this” He said, as in cue for more tendrils to slip between the girl’s legs, disappearing as they moved further back, “But that does not mean there aren’t some… restricted things for you”
The hand on her chest quickly moved to her chin, turning her face to him as Noriaki slammed his lips on hers, hungrily kissing her, his mouth muffling her whimpers, before pulling away with a wet sound.
Suddenly, the tendrils pulled Jotaro forward, bringing his face closer to the girl’s entrance.
“Go on, didn’t you want to use your mouth so badly?”
The tendrils pulled away from his mouth, leaving him gritting his teeth.
Unable to move and too drunk to fight back, he allowed the stand to pull him forward once more, burying his face in between Lia’s legs, only being able to start moving his mouth to allow himself to breathe.
Soon enough, he was only able to hear her getting wetter as he worked on her, along with Lia’s mewls as his tongue moved up and down her labia and her clit, while tendrils worked on her ass and the redhead continued his attack on her mouth and breasts.
It wasn’t long before all sensations started to become overwhelming to her, pleasure coming from all directions, leaving her dizzy as the coil on her belly tightened with every movement and caress over her body.
The multiple, thin tendrils were replaced for a thicker one, slowly penetrating her and stretching her further. The feeling, along with the tongue on her cunt and the vibrations caused by Jotaro’s grunts, soon were enough to make the coil on her belly snap, one of Lia’s hands gripping her friend’s hair as the other clung to Noriaki’s thigh, letting out a loud moan as her thighs tried to snap shut.
The tendrils let go of Jotaro, allowing him to pull back as he tried to compose himself, watching as Noriaki pulled the girl into an embrace, whispering into the crown of her head as she caught her breath.
The redhead gave Jotaro a quick glance, a faint smirk appearing on his lips as he watched the man stand up, before he whispered something in his girlfriend's ear.
The girl looked up at him with a questioning gaze, shakily standing up after he nodded.
In some sort of post orgasm clarity, Lia found herself blushing as she stood bare in front of her friend. Hesitantly, her hands reached to him, resting on Jotaro’s forearms as she shyly looked up at him.
“Take these off, won’t you?” she tugged lightly on his sleeves, but her words made it clear that she meant more than just his shirt.
By the corner of his eye, he saw Kakyoin starting to shrug off his clothes, leaving only his underwear.
Not knowing what else to do, he mimicked his friend’s actions.
Once he stood in only his underwearーand hatーshe guided him to the bed, softly pushing him, so he laid down on his back, before climbing on top of him, straddling his lap as her hands started to rub his crotch.
After a few moments, she yanked down his underwear, freeing his length.
Jotaro’s hands moved to her hips, guiding her to hover over his dick, the head rubbing her entrance. Yet, before he could start pulling her down, she slapped his hands, making him let go as she moved away slightly.
Kujo glared at her as he watched the redhead hand her a small, shiny package, the girl chuckling as she opened it.
“It’s called protection, big guy…” slowly, she slipped down the preservative, stroking him a few times “for more than just one thing”
He scoffed, placing his hands back on her hips as he pulled her forward.
“I don’t stick my dick on a hole at the first chance I get”
“Oh, really?” She reached forward, taking advantage of his hands being busy to take off his hat, throwing it away, revealing his flustered face, “And what exactly are you doing right now?”
His glare deepened, making her chuckle before she started to sink down, hissing at the unfamiliar stretch. It took a few minutes before she went all the way down, having to stop to catch her breath as she did so.
Lia pressed her hands against his chest, shakily keeping herself up, Jotaro’s thumbs rubbing circles on her hips as he tried to focus on anything but how thigh and warm she felt around him.
It wasn’t until she leaned forward that he noticed Noriaki behind her, grabbing her hip with one hand as he lined up his dick, slowly pushing in. As soon as he bottomed out, he rubbed Lia's back, trying to help her relax and adjust to the sensation.
Once she had fully adjusted, she slowly started to move her hips, cursing under her breath as she did so.
At first, she was the one fully controlling the pace, both men grunting as she moved her hip back and forth, slowly increasing the pace.
As time passed and her movements continued, both men started to buck their hips along her motions, hurrying her to move faster.
It wasn’t until her legs started to shake from the effort that they took full control, knocking the air out of her lungs as both moved at a hard rhythm.
Soon, a mix of grunts, whimpers, and moans filled the room, along with the dull slapping of skin against skin and the trio worked with synchronized motions, each of them seeking to reach their high.
Already being on the point where he could read Lia like a book, Noriaki quickly noticed how close she was from cumming. Using this to his advantage, one of his hands let go of her, sneaking around her body, starting to rub circles on her clit, causing her to choke a cry as her walls clenched around the dick inside her.
The feeling of her walls clamping around him made Jotaro grit his teeth, cursing under his breath as he felt the pressure in his abdomen building up fast.
With one last hard rub, the coil inside Lia’s belly snapped as she let out a loud moan, her nails digging on the tall man’s chest. The mix of her grip and the pain on his chest made him follow suit, letting out a guttural groan as he bucked into her harshly a few more times before stilling.
Suddenly, Lia felt herself being pushed forward slightly, just enough for both men to slip out.
She heard the noise of something being removed behind her, yet, before she could ask anything, she felt the redhead suddenly pushing his dick inside in a swift movement, not giving her time to adjust as he started to buck into her harshly.
“W-wait!” She choked out, feeling a tendril wrap around her neck as he pulled her up by her forearms.
Still not fully recovered from her orgasm, she felt overwhelmed with the pressure in her neck and Noriaki’s hard pace, quickly feeling another orgasm building up, being able to not do anything but try to grab anything to stabilize herself.
Soon, his bucking turned erratic, letting go of her for a second before wrapping his arms around her body, clinging to her as more tendrils sneaked up her body, rubbing and caressing her body, adding to the mix of sensations overtaking her senses.
After a few rubs and thrusts, she felt herself cum again, shaking at the over stimulation, before feeling Noriaki whimper against her neck, stilling as he came, filling her up.
Lia whimpered as he pulled out, watching as he moved to lay down beside Jotaro, catching his breath.
With fatigue washing over her, she couldn’t help but lay down in between them, feeling the redhead instantly pulling her towards him, with her back against his chest.
And so, as Noriaki nuzzled on her neck, she fell asleep along with the other men.
•••
Light creeped through the half closed blinds, slowly raising Lia up, along with a headache slowly building up.
She debated with herself whether to allow herself to go back to sleep or wake up and take some painkillers, along with making some coffee for both her and Noriaki.
God, just how much had she drunk last night?
She tried to recall the events of the night prior, yet, her senses started to wake up as well as she did so, suddenly becoming aware of her surroundings and how tired she was.
She felt Noriaki snuggling closer to her body, his arms wrapped around her body and trying to pull her impossibly closer.
Smiling, she felt herself falling back asleep in his embrace, letting herself relax… until she noticed what felt like an extra hand, resting on her hip.
Groggily, she started to open her eyes, letting them slowly adjust to the sunlight.
As soon as her gaze focused, her eyes went wide at the sight in front of her.
Jotaro was lying beside her, on the opposite side of the bed, his naked body partially hidden under the covers.
Alarmed, Lia let out a yelp, unconsciously kicking in the raven haired man’s direction, surprisingly pushing him off the bed, making him land on the floor with a loud thud.
Her action woke up both men, making Jotaro sit up abruptly as the redhead let go of her, rubbing his eyes as to fully wake himself up.
“What the fuck, woman?!”
“That’s exactly what I’m asking!” she clung to the covers, trying to hide herself from his gaze as she noticed she, too, was naked under there “What the fuck are you doing here?!”
He moved to fully stand up, making Lia blush intensely as she looked away, avoiding looking at him.
Looking away made her gaze cross with her boyfriend’s figure, who was sitting in complete silence with his gaze lost, probably remembering the events from the night.
Frowning, he opened his mouth, no words coming out. Sighing, he swung his legs to the side of the bed, moving to stand up.
“We should get cleaned up” Once he stood up, he turned to look at Lia with a bittersweet smile, moving to pick up their clothing.
“I…” she looked at her friend by the corner of her eye, feeling her face flush darker before whispering “I can’t”
Jotaro scoffed at this, starting to pick up his clothes.
“As if I hadn’t seen everything already”
“That is NOT what I meant!!” gritting her teeth, she threw a pillow at him, the taller man catching it without trouble.
She looked back at Noriaki, who raised a brow in confusion, before realizing the meaning of her words and moving to help her get up, guiding her to the bathroom while keeping her body out of sight as much as he could.
〜〜〜
Sitting in one of the kitchen chairs, Lia held an almost full mug of fresh coffee, having only taken a sip to down some painkillers, the burning sensation on her tongue barely comparable to the fatigue on the rest of her body.
She was more than thankful that Noriaki gave her some alone time to clean herself, more now as memories of the night prior resurfaced on her mind, making her feel ashamed of her actions.
She hid her face in her hands, groaning. Hearing footsteps coming inside the kitchen, she raised her gaze slightly, feeling herself blush in shame as she watched Jotaro lazily grabbing a mug, getting some coffee.
Feeling her gaze over him, he turned to look at her as he took a sip, raising a brow as she panicked and looked away.
“Stop acting like an idiot, I won't do anything”
“I don't know that” She glared at him, fidgeting with her mug “Thanks to you, I'm feeling like shit”
He scoffed, downing his coffee, looking around for something as he put the mug in the sink.
“Not my fault, I just wanted you to shut up” he walked past her, stopping at the entrance of the kitchen, an almost invisible smirk on his face “Got the opposite result, but at least you stopped talking shit”
As her face flushed darkly at his words, she did everything she could to hold herself back from throwing her mug at him.
“YOU FUCKING-”
“— If you're looking for your hat, it's in the bedroom”
Noriaki interrupted her, walking into the kitchen with a raised brow.
Grunting in acknowledgement, Jotaro left, leaving the redhead and Lia alone.
Taking a sip from her coffee, hid herself behind her mug, suddenly feeling way too awkward in her boyfriend's presence.
Once his friend was out of sight, Noriaki put a hand on her shoulder, making Lia flinch a little, her action causing him to frown.
Yet, before he could say anything, she whispered.
“I'm sorry” She kept avoiding his gaze, “I-I don't know why I acted like that last night, I'm-”
“Hey, all that wasn't your fault… nor anyone's” He put a hand on her cheek, gently making her look at him, smiling softly at her “It was just… a one time accident, nothing else”
She looked in his eyes, trying to look for something that showed if he was angry with her.
Finding nothing, she couldn't help but reciprocate his smile, leaning her face into his hand as she let out a sigh.
After a few minutes of silence, he spoke again.
“By the way, how are you feeling?”
She cringed at his words, blushing once again.
“Huh… like a lot of parts in my body are in a competition to see what annoys me the most”
He chuckled, his hand moving to caress her hair as he placed a kiss on her forehead.
“Well… Let's just hope Jotaro-kun learns to be kinder. Otherwise, I fear for whoever he ends dating”
“Just Jotaro?” She raised an incredulous brow at him, scoffing as he looked at her, confused, “I usually don't mind, but you weren't exactly the nicest last night”
“Well… what can I say?” Noriaki blushed slightly, chuckling sheepishly, “I just didn't want to hear you say the wrong name”
“NORIAKI”
He laughed out loud as she pushed away, hiding her face in her hands with a groan.
“Come on, time to leave”
“Leave? Where to?” She allowed him to grab her hand, standing up as her mug was placed in the sink by one of Hierophant's tendrils.
“We promised to accompany Jotaro-kun to the airport, and right now he looks like a depressed 40y/o”
“B-but…”
“We'll get breakfast on the way there… I honestly don't think any of us has the energy to make anything”
Lia whined in protest, yet she still followed him to the entrance, nervously ignoring Jotaro's presence.
As she clung onto Noriaki's arm, the trio left, trying to act natural but still with a weird awkwardness around them, yet still not wanting to mention anything, silently agreeing to forget about the whole incident.

MUNDAY: GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Respond to the following prompts out of character, then tag others you'd like to get to know a little bit better!
ROLEPLAYER NAME: bear! or will, I don't mind being referred to by my real name but even my wife calls me bear most of the time, so-
ROLEPLAYER PRONOUNS: he/him
MUSE NAME: I feel the mainstays will always be Wylan, Raguna, and Eira. But many many others-
PREFERRED COMMUNICATION: As needed. I'm low maintenance while still considering us 'in contact'. But I do love getting sent random bits as relevant and commentary on threads. I can be short or slow on replies at times though. Discord all the way over tumblr IM.
EXPERIENCE: Back when I was 15 or 16 on forums. I did some avatar games that had roleplay baked into it as well that were good. Did a lot of RP in warcraft back during BC to WOTLK, but could not get into it in FFXIV. Tumblr has been my favorite place to write, by far. I love getting into longer form. On that note-
PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: Literate paragraphs! I can't stay bantering in short stuff to save my life. Like a leak I inevitably switch over to having a paragraph. Then two. Maybe three. I'm pretty comfy around the 300-500 word length on my replies. I get intimidated when they get consistently longer and writer's block starts to lay its bricks.
PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS: An inability to meet halfway when plotting is brought up. I don't like being waited on like it's my responsibility to come up with a compelling plot that I suspect you'll half-ass reply to. Have some advocation for what you want. Otherwise ... yeah.
Also an overabundance of context-less dash commentary. Particularly connected to their discord happenings. Some blogs feel less 'indie' and more pseudo-group related. And if you're not involved good luck.
PLOTS OR MEMES: I like to think I'm pretty good rolling with the punches! I can do memes, random asks, and memes and ad-libbing a situation out of a few back and forth banters is really amusing. It's also easier than front-loading a ton of plotting that may or may not be realized anyway. Letting events happen off the cuff feels more dynamic and allows more surprises for both writing parties. <:
That said, don't mind plotting whatsoever! So long as the other person actually wants it and isn't going through the motion of it because it's 'what people do'. Also... I hope they're ready for the long game if so? Like they want to let the plot play out and not just making a plot and then jumping to the end of it.
Pre-establish-jutsu is not plotting!!
LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: Middle?? Both?? There's a time for everything but like I said before I'm a fan of 300-500 words for my replies. Sometimes I like them shorter, others longer. But we're biasing towards the 'long' given when a lot of what's in vogue as of late.
BEST TIME TO WRITE: Whenever I can put my adhd into proper submission. I like writing at the office (after I have my work for the day handled) because it separates me from the usual distractions but we can only be so strong...
I like writing earlier in the day! I feel like my best work is done in the mornings, after all. And the head is clearer before I've hit lunch. So on weekends where I don't have plans and I can make myself sit down at a keyboard before everyone else is around, that's just great.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: Like any good oc writer, I pull out little pieces of myself and cram them into other beings to irreversibly corrupt them not unlike a certain villain from a certain manga. People have called me dad in the past... perhaps that fits better than I thought.
tagged by: @triinitas (thank!!) tagging: gosh this one has gone around a few times, steal it if you like!
#dash :: games ooc#of course I get into writing this when a coworker starts having a loud convo#escalating my frustration lmao

A @conherofrost non-diegetic drabble
(Set within the canon lore of my RP Frost)
The look on Frost's face seemed floaty and distant as he boarded his escort shuttle to head into business as usual and his subordinates took notice. "You seem in fine spirits today, sir!"
He quickly snapped back into awareness. "Oh, I suppose it comes with the work, enough success in a row'll do that to you..." The Arcosian tittered lightly, passing the subject aside without divulging another reasoning lurking underneath his words.
"By the way, sir, your latest modelling shots are in print now!" "Yes, I know, I was just looking through that issue to cut the pages out~" (Not divulging that he was skimming another article rather intently)
"Looking at the agenda, sir, if you're not too tired out after your press debrief on Taidana, we can kickstart your next conflict staging on Koibito within a few hours." "Good, good... and have any other warrior bands caught wind of the rumor you planted? Just to avoid any surprises." "Well, from what's been reported back, the Sadalan Saiyan rangers have already taken the bait."
The moment mention of Saiyans came up, some involuntary purr rumbled from his lips for a moment like a spurt of an engine hum.
"Sir, is that a problem?" "Oh! Uhh, not a problem! Quite welcome, I might say... One of their numbers, I've been talking rather close with off-field. I think I quite like him..."
"Like him?" His PR manager, Canistel, spoke with a suspicious sneer from behind. "What do you mean by that?" "I suppose whatever you think it to mean..."
As he stared distantly through the window, his cheek fell into his palm, too turned around and spaced out to see his stylist, Amburo, silently shaking his head panicked and making a 'cut' motion in warning.
"Now, Frost, dear. As your friend, I'd turn the other way, but with the perspective of your manager, I'd like to remind you of your image here for a moment. To your adoring public, you're the hero heartthrob. The free-bird lady killer. Now, what would it do to your poor squealing fanbase if you put off the view that you weren't interested in any of them?"
"I'm not interested in any of them. That's the whole point of faking it, that I'm not supposed to be, isn't it?" The soft lofty air about Frost's smile quickly vanished. "Correct, but the point is that it'll be much harder to fake then... So, you may as well drop it, yes?"
"...Not to mention, we're still writing plans. We haven't exactly given this ranger of yours his spot in the script... It would be a shame if he got too close and got hurt... wouldn't it?"
Frost's tail bristled as his back lurched and his voice hushed. "You wouldn't dare..." "Wouldn't it, Frost?" "...Yes, it would be. Got it, Canistel... I'll drop it." "Good boy. How did we ever get so lucky to have such an obedient little star like you?"
