Bsd BUT Percy jackson

I started drawing Dazai & Chuuya as half bloods recently, and that got me thinking, what would they be like in this supposed world? So I decided to look into what their godly parent would be. I almost immediately thought Chuuya would be a kid of Ares, the god of War, for obvious reasons. Dazai was a bit harder, but I think he’d be a kid of Hades possibly? It would go well with his whole “is their really any point to this thing we call living?” Bit. I also wanted Chuuya to be a member of Camp-Jupiter, so his parent would Be Mars. That way it can contribute to Soukoku’s rival dynamic, and how Chuuya is in the mafia while Dazai isn’t in bsd. I also thought that they would work pretty well together since hades is basically the god of Death, and Mars/Ares is the god of war. That also got me thinking, what about the other characters? When did they meet what’s the world around them? I didn’t want to just Add them to the pjo universe, I wanted to almost create a different one just for fun 🥰, one that Percy and the others (like the mains) either aren’t present or don’t exist. I was thinking about Atsushi, I don’t know what his god might be, or would he be a Satyr? Since he’s part animal in the bsd universe (the weretiger). I didn’t want the abilities to exist in this universe.

opinions? Should I swap Chuuya and Dazai’s camps? (Chuuya a hand half blood, Dazai camp Jupiter)

favorite colour: vacillates between blue and purple - i like blue better but it's also the color every job / extracurricular / etc i've ever had uses for branding, so i have been designing with it 24/7 for like 4 years and want a break lmao

BSD/PJO Crossover Idea:

Hera decides to become Percy's patron after an argument with Zeus(this way if Zeus tries anything against Percy for existing he will be dealing with both Hera AND Poseidon's fury and while he's stupid he's not that stupid). A few days after Percy's first birthday there's a monster attack and Sally dies, Hera manages to save Percy's live and sends him to another location, Yokohama. More specifically a post SB Yokohama.

There Percy is found by Soukoku and gets immediately attached to them much to theirs and everyone's combined confusion. So for the next eleven years Percy is raised by Soukoku with help from Kouyou, Verlaine, and Hirotsu, this leads to the most spoiled yet deadly kid in existence but who cares(Zeus does but literally no one pays attention to his opinion).

Hera isn't that shitty of a patron and does pop in from time to time introduces herself as Percy's aunt and explains that Percy is half god(this caused a whole discussion of how Chuuya is hosting a God, Hera was surprised), the prophecy, and the reason why he ended on the other side of the world.

Fast forward to LT canon events happen except Percy is only at Yancy because of some threat in Yokohama, he still kills Mrs. Dodds, but Chiron and Grover don't get a chance to gaslight this kid because,one:he's been raised by the Demon Prodigy, two: his other dad is Arahabaki's host, and three:Hera is his occasional babysitter, so they take him to camp immediately. A week later he is claimed by Poseidon and sent on the quest for the bolt. But while he does take Grover, he doesn't Annabeth(their personalities clashing too much for them to ever get along) instead he takes Katie Gardener as she is family and has become a sort of friend during his week in camp.

The quest goes the same as in cannon but quicker as they don't make the pit stop in Arch but Hera does relay Poseidon's message to Percy.

my exams are finally fucking over, so it's time to announce the fics i've been planning (which, ironically, was during my exam period)

there was once a garden -> PJO related

i went a little overboard during one of my brainrotting sessions, and decided it would be a fun project to combine shinto religion with greek mythology. there's gonna be 3 main characters + 1 surprise character (!!! pay attention), and it follows a completely original plotline.

it's a series with 3 main books that focuses on each of the main characters, and 2 "interludes" that link back to the original PJO plot so i can actually make it kind of relevant.

there! are! ships!!! lgbtq+ is involved, so don't like don't read.

book 1: the storm lilies under our feet

book 2: as the moonflower blooms

interlude 2: spider lilies amongst the grass

book 3: our field of sunflowers

if you've read about shinto religion or know some stuff, then you can pretty much guess who the main characters are already :) the number 3 is a dead giveaway

my antidepressant prescription -> BSD related

this is the composer thing i mentioned a while ago! for those who don't know what i'm referring to, basically a while ago i got the genius idea to dump a bunch of classical musicians into the world of bungou stray dogs :) there are 9 main characters + 2 extras i added on because i was feeling indulgent, and it follows a completely original (and nonexistent) plotline.

there is one main book, but i've decided to sort of follow the bsd format and am currently planning light novels! it's kind of silly cuz the light novels have more structured planning whereas the main book is just gonna be random bullshit go, but whatever.

once again, there's lgbtq+ content, so don't like don't read. the 2 extras are a ship on their own, and have their own separate light novel that focuses on them.

Let’s talk about Atsushi! (Bsd BUT Percy Jackson AU)

Ok so go Atsushi (and a little bit of Akutagawa) I first thought he’d be a Satyr, mainly because of his ability “Beast Beneath the Moonlight” and how it’s an animal. I thought mostly about Grover, and how he’s empathetic, loyal, kind, and the nature how he’s both scarred but still ready to fight for his friends. (I’m aware not all stayrs are like this)

@arctisking also brought up Apollo, which I absolutely LOVE that idea. Having his be a son of Apollo goes with the tigers ability to regenerate/ re connect his limbs and heal himself. Arctiskinbg also brought up Akutagawa being a kid of Hades or Ares, for now let’s say he’s a kid of Hades. With Atsushi being a son of Apollo and Aku being a son of Hades, that gives us the dynamic of the “Yin Yang”—“Life & Death”, i also feel like that would keep their rivalry somewhat? Atsushi Valuing life and trying to heal it while Aku tries to end it in a way. Apollo is also the god of “Youth”, which if you’ve seen Atsushi, he always looks young due to lack of nourishment as a child, therefore youthful in this world? Though he’d be aged down in this world.

(I want to lessen the abuse in all of the characters backstories since if they are in this camp they would all be younger-children, relationships like Dazai and Aku’s would be more difficult to achieve)

Apollo can be considered like the “sun”, which would match Atsushi as a whole. This wasn’t as detailed as I’d like but I’ve gotta hurry up 😭🙏🏻

In the end it kind comes to if I want to favor the animal part of Atsushi or the dynamics,

Camp half blood Atsushi Design

I really don’t like this initial design, I sketched it at night. I want to make him look a bit younger since he’s meant to be 12. I had a lot of issues trying to make his hair look right, but I decided to put the pin in his hair that Atsushi has on his Tie

And have him keep his gloves. I also gave him a scar on his cheek, since he doesn’t have the tiger’s healing in this universe (and his past is altered but he was still abused in an orphanage) he would probably have more scars, even though I think I’m going to make him a son of Apollo, he can heal others but I still think he’d have scars, because he wouldn’t know about his abilities until later being informed about them.
