To explain this I’m gonna give a bit of background for the Lost Light crew so that the context is given

The Lost Light crew were a group of refugees from the war (no quest, just kinda wanting to avoid the raging war). Once the war ended the new high council found them and repossessed their ship, in a moment of panic the crew manages to flee and hijacks a groundbridge which they take to earth

When Pipes first arrived on earth with the rest of the crew he’s already deep into trying to be more impulsive, so one day he decides to go explore a crumbling abandoned building (as he would) and surprise surprise, it starts collapsing in on itself.

Immediately emergency services get called and guess who shows up

That’s right

The burns family (because pipes went to Griffin Rock)

Heatwave is the one to directly get Pipes out of there and Pipes falls HARD because he just got saved by a guy who checks every single box he has
