Really quick I just want to say thank you guys for over 700 followers🤗! I appreciate all of y’all so much and thank you also for supporting my writing and all the kind words you guys have given me💕!! Also Happy Belated Birthday to the human dorito himself Chris Evans🥰!

“Hurry up Jensen before you get caught,” Pooch impatiently orders through the small piece in his ear.

“I’m not gonna get caught, and don’t rush me when I’m trying to change rude!”

Hurriedly entering in the private corner office, he locks the door behind him as he places his bag down beginning to strip his mail carrier uniform for his IT clothes. Shorts down to his ankles, he hears someone clear their throat making him jump and clutch his chest as he turns around. Quickly scanning you up and down, his mouth becomes slightly agape from the pleasantly unexpected sight in front of him.

Thin frames on your face and white button up tucked into your knee length, grey pencil skirt paired with your black heels, you easily made Jensen forget about the remainder of his mission as he stood staring at you.

“Um can I help you?,” you ask with arms crossed in front of your chest.

“Wow-I mean, um no I just uh-,”

“Nice, very eloquent,” Pooch laughs from his safe position.

“I was just trying to change my clothes since I uh just clocked in!,” he smiles covering himself with his hands. “Yea I can’t be in my mail carrier get up trying to do IT, it messes with the flow of everything you know? Plus don’t get me started on the smell sometimes.”

“And you chose to do that in an office versus the bathroom?”

“Well...I wanted to be quick since I am a bit late, and I didn’t know you were in here so I apologize for the uh, show.”

“Jensen time to go, so you and little Jensen say goodbye to the nice lady.”

“Do me a favor and forget seeing me ok?,” he asks pulling up his khakis and quickly fastening the belt. “Well seeing me with my pants down that is. If you like my face then definitely continue remembering that. Or even if you like me with my pants down then by all means.”

“...okaayy do me a favor, and never say that to a woman again,” Pooch responds shaking his head. He knew Jensen was a train wreck when talking to women, but this was a new low even he didn’t expect.

“Alright well I’m just gonna go now.” Flashing a quick smile, he leaves you stupefied sitting on the edge of your desk still confused on what exactly happened and giggling to yourself as you shake your head.

That was the first time you met Jake Jensen and, little did you know, it definitely wouldn’t be the last.

“Good game miss MVP!,” Jensen smiles picking up his niece, Abby, in a bear hug and spinning her around.

“Thanks, but we didn’t win though,” she giggles, swiping small loose strands of hair from her forehead once placed back on her feet.

“So, you still did amazing which is why you were named MVP.”

Smiling as she hugs around his hips, she always appreciated how supportive her uncle Jake was no matter the outcome of the game. He was her biggest fan and cheered her on if she was running the field the whole duration of the game or sat on the bench.

Although in those cases, he would storm out the stands bombarding the coach with comments saying how she should be playing, which could get a little embarrassing.

“Hey Abby, Uncle Jake! This is my oldest sister, Y/N,” they hear making both of them turn around.

“So this is the infamous Uncle Jake I’ve been hearing about,” the all too familiar figure adds returning those nervous feelings Jensen had that wild day.

Dressed more casual than that day in the office with your ripped jeans, plain white tee, and sneakers, you still managed to take his breath away as his heartbeat quickened in his chest.

“Yep that’s me, proud honorary uncle! Well except to this one since I’m her real uncle.”

“You’re acting weird..,” Abby states with a suspicious smirk as Jensen nervously laughs and stammers.

“N-No I’m not, what are talking about?”

“Mom says usually when guys act like that around a girl it means-,”

“Soo! Who wants ice cream? I know Abby does,” he smiles grabbing onto her shoulders to make her stop talking. “Would you and Brooklyn like to come with?”

“Sure,” you smile as the two girls excitedly bounce up and down before grabbing their bags and running to their respective rides.

“So am I ever gonna find out exactly why you were changing in my office?”

“What do you mean? I already told you I was late and-,”

“Needed to change for your shift yea that’s what you said, but the commotion that happened after says otherwise,” you smirk.

Chuckling, his hand nervously rubs the back of his neck as he steps closer to you. Although there was no one around, he still didn’t want to risk the small chance that someone could overhear.

“Let me guess, you’d tell me but you’d have to kill me?” Slowly nodding his head, he notices your shocked, wide eyed expression making him grab his chest as he burst out in a laughing fit.

“You should’ve seen your face!,” he laughs copying your expression before wiping a tear from the corner of his eye. “But no I wouldn’t have to kill you. It’s just complicated...something I should probably only tell if this would be long term.”

“I see...and who’s to say it won’t be?”

Now was his turn to display a shocked expression and make you laugh.

“Are-Are you serious or is this a mind trick?” Playfully rolling your eyes, you lean in softly kissing his cheek and causing a blush to slowly rise after.

“As serious as the fact that the girls are gonna be pissed if we don’t get them ice cream soon,” you smile turning on your heel to retreat to your car. Still standing in shock, he reaches up to touch the spot your soft lips were smiling to himself like a giddy schoolboy who just got a yes on his “do you like me?” note.

Pulling out his phone, he quickly dials a number as he walks back to his car anxiously awaiting for an answer.

“What do you wa-,”

“AHT!,” he smiles cutting Pooch short. “Just know you owe me $100 because I have a date with the nice lady from the office.”

I Never Thought That It Would Hit This Hard - Pt. 1

The first time it happened, it was nothing more than hate sex and Waverly Earp is not a hateful person.

Sure, she held resentment towards her father for being an alcoholic who choose to drown at the bottom of a bottle than taking care of his own children and sure, she did hold some resentment towards Wynonna for leaving her behind while she traveled the world to find herself; especially after she had promised she wouldn't leave. But she made peace with it long ago. She knew that such hatred wasn't good for the soul. Gus and Curtis had always told her to forgive and forget.

And to her own credit, she tries.

That is until she meets her sister's star shooter.

Waverly had never met someone more infuriatingly arrogant than Nicole Haught, and she lived in the same house as Wynonna and Willa Earp.

At first, they were friends. For a while, at least. Nothing spectacular beyond being acquaintances, really. Wynonna took to Nicole as easy as she did with a bottle of Jack. They had the same kind of humor, dry and sarcastic, witty even. Which is saying something since most people couldn't stand Wynonna's abrasive, devil may care attitude. But it made for good companionship and an even better coach, that's why Ghost River University was so eager to hire her for their women's hockey team during the winter months, soccer during spring.

And as such, with Nicole being athletically inclined and enrolled into Ghost River, she's immediately secured a position on both teams after outshining the others during tryouts. She's a good soccer player, Waverly gives her that. She just had a horrible ego that played well into the whole popular party jock façade. She gets annoyed with the redhead after hearing Wynonna bust through homestead in anger after dealing with a hungover Nicole one too many times.

Eventually, she just settles to hate the woman who had the audacity to play games with her several yards away from the goal. It's their first match of the season, their first match against each other and throughout the whole time, Nicole is smirking at Waverly from across the field. Her eyes always following, and of course, they have to be because Waverly is the one with the ball, but the feel of them on her is different.

Maybe Waverly should have paid more thought to the attention player number six was giving her. Instead, she's more focused on the clock. Only two minutes left of the entire game, both teams tied and with the ball currently in Ghost River's possession, keeping them from scoring a goal would mean the difference between losing and the match ending in a draw. If she could snatch the ball from Nicole, the match would end in a draw and at least Purgatory wouldn't suffer harshly at losing their first match of the season. She moves at lightning speed, on the defensive, ready to save face for her team.

But Nicole moves faster—stepping into Waverly's space, so close the brunette can feel the heat radiating off the taller woman before she's stunned and left flat on her ass while Nicole makes the winning goal. Just as the buzzard goes off.

Everyone is shocked. Waverly Earp, the quickest player on the team, she gets played with one of the simplest moves in the book! All the while the Revenants celebrate, smiling and laughing, she's rooted to the ground in abject shock. It's their first win of the year and Wynonna is congratulating Nicole with a pat on the back while Chrissy has to haul Waverly's ass up from the ground, reminding her that they had to lineup to pay sportsmanly respect to a good game.

It's utter bullshit and Waverly doesn't take too kindly to Nicole—in front of both their teams no less—winking at her and personally thanking her for the win. Waverly's eyes narrow dangerously and she looks ready to kill the taller woman before both teams then disperse to hit the showers. Behind her Wynonna pats her back, praising her for a good performance.

She sighs, not wanting her sister to see her this way.

Instead, she accepts the praise and while everyone leaves the arena, the field emptying out and spectators leaving the stands, Waverly stays on the field. She’s exhausted and her bones feel heavy, but she’s been reinvigorated with a new sense of purpose.

Because she'll be damned if she wasn’t going to make it her mission to win the next matchup against Ghost River and every single matchup with them for the rest of the season. She’s Waverly Earp, after all. Purgatory’s fastest player, an ace shooter and a prodigy on the field. She knew how to weave her way up and down the field like a goddamn pro.

But so did Nicole Haught.

Thinking of the taller woman with that bright red six on her jersey sends Waverly running laps around the field, jogging lightly as to not strain herself. Everyone's left, leaving the arena dark and empty save for the lights that lit up the field. She grabs her personal soccer ball from her gym bag and dribbles the ball along the penalty area keeping it dead center on the line; ball control had always been a specialty of hers. Whereas Wynonna and Willa were much better strikers, able to kick the ball with such force it would smash into the net like a missile, Waverly knew how to manipulate the ball passed players giving her the opportunity to strike.

Round and round she goes, circling the penalty area the ball firmly in her possession. It's hers, so how on earth did she lose it to Nicole so quickly? That step-over trick was so basic and yet, was done so flawlessly and so fast she couldn't counter it in time.

"What are you doing Earp?" A voice calls and to her surprise and immense distaste, she finds Nicole, already in jeans and t-shirt, walking towards her. Her thumbs hooked into her pockets.

"What do you want, Haught?"

"I think I asked you a question, first."

"If you must know, I'm trying to figure out how you managed to trip me up with that stupid trick."

"You know I can just show you, right? All you had to do was ask." A smile graces Nicole's face, and then, "and say please."

With hands balled into fists at her sides, Waverly wants to throttle the taller woman who strides up to her, leaving barely enough space between them. Instead she huffs and gives in. "Please."

Nicole's smirking again and before Waverly can wipe it off her face they separate, the soccer ball thrown to the redhead's feet. She starts to dribble the ball, moving towards Waverly who's eager to snatch the ball away. Instead, Nicole moves it slowly between her sneakers once she's a foot away from the smaller woman, rolling her heel across it between Waverly's legs before reversing at a much faster pace, catching her off guard as she tries to steal the ball, knocking her off-balance. And once again, flat on her ass.

They try a couple more times and each time, Waverly is on the ground. Her blood boiling to a fever pitch.

The embarrassment is worse this time around. Nicole doesn't even kick the ball into the net, instead it sits firmly beneath her kicks as she stares at Waverly. Hand outstretched, smiling softly. The silence of her defeat is far more deafening now that her sister and teammates weren't around to see it, reverberating through her bones. Sinking deep into the marrow. Waverly takes the hand and for a single second she doesn't think about tackling the older woman to the ground. But the corner of those impossibly pink lips turns upward into that telltale smirk of hers and the smaller of the two hooks her leg around hers and brings them both down.

Waverly is straight-faced and furious, grabbing a fistful of Nicole’s collar forcing her warm eyes to face hers. They’re on the ground, Waverly staring down at the redhead with such fury she could melt the polar ice caps. Her anger only increasing when said redhead gives her that cocky smirk.

"Just in case you need a reminder, my dad’s the sheriff’s deputy. All it takes is one little comment and you’re benched for the next few games. So, ease up will ya cutie?"

"Don’t call me cutie," Waverly snarls.

"But you look so cute when you’re angry, you always did… Cutie.”

"Why are you so insufferable?" Waverly says, exasperated at the older woman’s remarks. Christ, she’s just like Wynonna, never knowing when to quit with the taunts and jabs. "Do you practice being an asshole to people in the mirror or is it just natural talent?"

"I’m a natural talent at a lot of things." Nicole says, leaning upwards so Waverly couldn’t look down at her anymore. Breaking her sole link to being the dominant party. Everyone knows that Nicole is half a foot taller than Waverly— tall enough where her presence feels like an affront to the brunette’s peaceful sensibilities whenever they were around each other. Damn asshole always smirking, always looking down with that devious glint in her eyes. "Soccer being one of them as you already know by now."

She smiles and Waverly leans in to be all predatory and imposing. Nicole shoves her back and smooths out the front of her t-shirt. "And that just pisses you off, doesn’t it? You’re not the star shooter anymore, your team can’t rely on you to make goals when they know I can fake you out and leave you flat on your ass."

"Tonight, you got lucky," Waverly snaps and then shoves Nicole back against the ground.

They struggle against each other for a while, almost as if they're slap fighting with Waverly trying use her weight to keep Nicole in place and Nicole making it as difficult as possible using her strength to flip Waverly over. It isn't until Waverly, now on her back being pressed into the ground shoves her hands over Nicole’s face and into her hair that she gets the upper hand. Nicole’s chin jerks up as Waverly pulls, yanking her head back. She may be pinned to the grassy field but she never quite stops pulling on Nicole’s hair; she's got leverage like this and she's not afraid to use it.

They’re sweaty now. Possibly even more sweaty from rumbling around than the actual soccer game itself. Waverly’s hair is a mess, it’s frizzy, blades of grass caught in its tresses, her clothes suddenly feel too tight on her. Nicole’s auburn hair is still knotted up between her fingers, soft and silky, and for whatever reason she doesn’t let go. The two of them are rigidly still, panting as the heated breath they share makes the air between them hot and arid. Waverly is stunned silent as she watches a single bead of sweat trail down Nicole’s throat. Still gripping her hair tightly from the roots, Waverly pulls again and a warm heat settles low on her stomach when she sees Nicole arch her back and lick her lips.

“Fuck...”

Oh.

Holy shit.

Arousal shoots down to her core and Waverly feels her legs go weak for a quick second. She finds out why soon enough; a shift of their legs in an effort to get comfortable brings Nicole’s denim-clad thigh right up between Waverly's legs. She bites her bottom lip to stave it off, but Waverly feels it all the same—she’s wet; Nicole is sweating above her, Nicole likes having her hair pulled and fuck, she’s so wet for it, it’s insane. "Now this is an interesting turn of events," Nicole says. That damned smirk is back.

"Nicole, don’t you dare—"

“Don’t act so proud, asshole. I still hate you.”

"I bet you’re practically dripping—" Nicole’s words cut off with a groan when Waverly pulls at her hair for real this time. Nails right up against the scalp so both of them can feel the way Waverly scrapes over skin and hair to gather a good handful.

"No wonder you’re so much of a hard ass," Nicole smirks, laughing a little. "Maybe that’s why you’re always staring at me like you’re trying to kill me." Nicole moves her leg and rubs her thigh even further against Waverly, she leans down and brushes her lips against the cartilage of Waverly's ear and says, "You haven’t had a good fuck in forever and it’s killing you that I’m the one who’s making you feel this way."

"Your arrogance is such a turn off," Waverly hisses.

“And yet you’re getting wetter,” Nicole grins in a singsong voice. Punctuating her point by grinding her thigh against Waverly's center, the brunette shutting her eyes closed and biting the inside of her cheek.

Waverly has heard things about what Nicole's done before—hard not to when they ran in the same circles, went to same college parties and hell, she's heard Wynonna groan and complain once about catching the redhead in the act in the locker room wearing nothing but a wrinkled up blouse and a bra on her head—but hearing about it is vastly different than being shown it firsthand. And it could be the adrenaline coursing through her veins and the fact that she was hard up for, like how Nicole mentioned before, a good fuck, she’s not heavily opposed to it. Hell, Waverly’s the one who closes the distance between them, crashing their lips together.

Eyes closed, Waverly focuses on the feel of soft, warm lips against her. The taste of strawberry chapstick and the slick tongue that cleverly snakes it’s way into her own mouth. It’s sweet and addictive. Until Nicole tears herself away. Smirking against the curve of her jaw, tongue flickering against skin for a fraction of a second.

"God you're sexy," Nicole murmurs hotly. Hands running up Waverly's legs, sliding beneath the pant leg of her shorts, barely skimming along the hem of her underwear. In response, Waverly wraps a leg around Nicole's waist and pulls her closer.

A smile graces Nicole's face but Waverly doesn't get to cherish it because it's gone as quickly as it was formed, their lips melting together. All teeth and bite, roughly slotting against the other's with a feverish hunger. Nicole's tongue finds its way inside her mouth again, the taste of peppermint with a slight hint of nicotine lights her taste buds on fire. Her hands grab at the leather belt on the redhead's jeans, hurriedly trying to unbuckle them and when she manages to rip her pants open, Nicole smiles into their kiss, before roughly pulling Waverly's hands away and pinning her wrists to the ground on either side of her head.

In retaliation, Waverly sinks her teeth into the tip of Nicole's tongue with a punishing little nip. She then tastes something metallic on her tongue, coppery and sweet.

"Bit of a bitter, aren't you?" Nicole's eyes are dark now, hooded with a deep, penetrating lust that sends a shiver down the brunette's spine.

Waverly huffs, snaking a hand back into Nicole's hair. She doesn't pull, but pulls hard enough to remind her that she still had the leverage to turn everything around. "Don't get cocky, Haught."

"No promises, Earp."

Nicole smiles at Waverly again, an almost predatory look in her warm eyes as she captures her lips in another searing kiss. There's no tongue this time, Waverly almost whimpers at the loss of it, instead she moans when she feels teeth pulling and grazing along the flesh of her bottom lip. She yelps when the skin splits open. Nicole's tongue makes a reappearance, gently swiping along the tiny wound. It stings. And it feels so good.

Nicole leaves a trail of bite marks across her throat, each one harsher and rougher than the last. Soothing the pain with a soft lick, smoothing it over with sinfully plush lips before biting down.

Nicole moves lower, warm hands sliding up Waverly's jersey, smiling into her skin when she feels the brunette's stomach tighten and then relax against her touch. She lightly scratches her nails against Waverly' ribs, before dragging her teeth down her body even further. Sucking a bruise into her hip. Every action drawing a moan from the brunette's throat. Grinning at the way her taut stomach clenches, goosebumps rising along her navel when a hand slips beneath waistband of Waverly's white and royal blue soccer shorts.

Waverly tightens her grip on Nicole’s hair, she pulls lightly, eliciting a pleasurable groan from the redhead. Nicole’s fingers dance softly over the smooth skin of her inner thighs, rubbing small, torturous circles. Pulling at that tightly wound coil of anticipation, knotted at the pit of her stomach. The first touch of Nicole’s finger against her clit sends Waverly propelling upwards in pure, unadulterated pleasure.

Suddenly Waverly can’t breathe.
