"Hazza, you're a mess," Sirus says, extracting Harry from the pumpkin guts that have reached far beyond the newspaper they spread on the kitchen floor. "It's a good thing that Moony and I have magic, or we'd never get you clean in time to trick or treat."

"Go trick-or-treat, Paddy!" Harry says, grabbing Sirius's shoulder with orange covered hands.

Sirius waves his wand and cleans Harry--and now himself--up from the pumpkin mess. "You got it, pumpkin pie. Let's get your costume on, huh?" Sirius turns his head back toward the rest of the house. "Moons, you got his costume, or do I need to come find it?"

"I got it, I got it," Remus says as he walks back in the room. "Just making sure it doesn't have wrinkles."

Sirius spins around with Harry in his arms, making the small boy laugh. He freezes when he sees Remus. "That's not Harry's costume."

Remus looks down at the bright pink tutu and crown in his hand. "Yeah it is. Princess ballerina, just like he asked for."

"Pincess ballina!" Harry yells, and he begins struggling in Sirius's arms. "Pincess ballina, pincess ballina, pincess ballina!" Harry calls over and over.

"Sh, Harry," Sirius says before just speaking over him. "No, he asked for a dinosaur. He's even been practicing his T Rex arms."

"Dinosaur!" Harry says. "Rawr!" he holds his arms close to his body.

"We don't have a dinosaur costume," Remus says, "because I bought him a princess ballerina costume, like he asked for."

"The dinosaur costume is hanging in his closet, because I bought it like he asked me too," Sirius says.

"Pincess ballina dinosaur!" Harry yells, throwing his hands up.

"Which one do you want to wear, Harry?" Remus asks while holding up his tutu. "Princess ballerina or dinosaur?"

"Yes!" Harry says. "Pincess ballina dinosaur."

Sirius and Remus look at each other blankly. "Both, I guess?" Sirius asks.

"I don't see how we have a choice now," Remus says.

That year, Harry wore a T Rex costume with a tutu and princess crown, and he was the best dressed Princes Ballerina Dinosaur anyone had ever seen.
