Crypto Against All Odds actually has Linux in the roadmap

Crypto Against All Odds tactical tower defense and support in Linux gaming with, Mac, as well as Windows PC. Thanks to recent details from indie developer Pictagor Games. Which is available now on both Steam and GOG. The tactical tower defense Crypto Against All Odds is now available. Developed by indie studio Pictagor Games and published by PID Publishing. While story explores the rise of crypto culture with a new and modern gameplay. Somewhat similar to Plant vs Zombies. Discover the world of crypto currencies while battling against bugs. Including hackers, ransomware and other deadly cyber security attacks. So, when you see a Steam Discussion comment stating that Linux gaming is not officially supported. Right off you would think it's not in the plan at all. However, a recent email from Pictagor Games states the opposite.

Right now an official Linux port is not yet planned, but it remains on our future roadmap.

Since Crypto Against All Odds is developed in Unity 3D and Blender, a port should be easy. But what catches me off guard is the fact that Linux support is already on the roadmap. What!? On top of this, during game testing, the developers also note that Linux testers are able to use Proton. That being said, the more often we see testing and people making comments about using Proton, the less we see a native Linux port. Which in turn takes the developer off the hook for a native build. Which is annoying when they are using game engines like Unity 3D development.

In Crypto Against All Odds, you play as a blockchain security expert. This has you doing bounties jobs in the early days of Bitcoin. When hacking activities begin to surge, you sense a looming threat trying to bring down the entire crypto space. As you talk with other forum users, read terminal chats and message boards. The player slowly pieces together a big plot. Meanwhile, the people behind it are also on to your true identity. This is something you are trying to keep secret.

Roleplay as a Security Expert: Take the role of a cybersecurity expert. Visit a virtual forum, take on bounties jobs, and read terminal chat messages. All so you can uncover a huge plot in the crypto space.

Side activities: Between missions, the player can take part in various activities. Such as chatting with your crypto squad, and trading crypto currencies. Play arcade mini-games i0n Crypto Against All Odds. Read inbox messages from strangers and use your wit to determine an action. Choices have outcomes.

Squad customization: Whether you want to slow down enemies with a plasma beam or blast them in an explosion. Maybe teleport your crypto around. There will be a unit to cover your tactical need.
