In 1998, Dallas band Tripping Daisy released its third album, Jesus Hits Like The Atom Bomb. As albums go, it was much better than anyone expected it to be, not the least of which was Island Records, who subsequently dropped the bomb and the ball on what has become recognized as one of the best albums of the decade. Song Of The Day: Tripping Daisy, “Waited A Light Year”
We are EXTREMELY EXCITED to learn that the Dallas-based psychedelic bubblegum rockers Tripping Daisy will be performing at least one reunion show this May! We’ve loved this band for a very, very long time, and their demise was sudden and tragic, thanks to the death of guitarist and wizard Wes Berggren.
