Finally gotten around to drawing the whole family together. Am I happy with it? Idk but I didn’t spend 9 hours on this just to ignore it

Left to right we have:

Alistair (1738-1784) - I’ve talked about him before, orphan kid off the streets who fought tooth and nail to get his education as a lawyer trying to change a unjust legal system that oppresses the very same people he came from. Refuses to indulge in a life of luxury now he could probably afford it, not wanting such things to get to his head. He’s very opinionated and won’t bow down for anyone. He’s a total workaholic but does love his family dearly, doing everything he can to create a better world for his two children. He’s very sharp, and thanks to his youth being spent on the streets, has the bite to back up his bark. Over the years many misunderstandings and some past traumas has lead to some bad blood between him and Dr Livesey, although it has yet to boil over (for now).

Charlotte (1739-1818) - Charlotte was born in very different circumstances to her husband, not quite the highest point in English high society but by no means working class. She’s a very curious woman, always wanting to know more about those who live differently to her. This curiosity lead to the two meeting, with Charlotte quickly falling for the man who would actually call out the bs he saw rather than stick his head in the sand. She takes the role of “life partner” seriously, helping Alistair in any way she can. It was Charlotte who taught Alistair to enjoy life again, even if it’s just the small things like appreciating a funny looking cloud.

Petra (1765-1856) - If Livesey thought Alistair was a headache, you should have seen his face when he learnt there were *two* of them! Petra - named for Alistair’s late brother - takes after her father to an almost scary degree. Despite being raised in far better conditions, she and her brother were taught to appreciate what they had and know their situation was not the norm. Petra followed after her father’s ways of trying to help the less fortunate by using her station to raise up others. She can often be seen in places many couldn’t imagine a lady going alone, tutoring kids on how to read and write. No one there dares touch her, if not for her street cred then her father’s. Like it or not, she will make her opinion heard, even if she doesn’t think before speaking. In her childhood she was a master of mischief, not exactly helped by her father - whenever she was brought to him after being caught, he wouldn’t tell her off, instead tell her how not to get caught next time!

Marcus (1767-1848) - Marcus is more reserved and restrained than his big sister, but is just as passionate about their father’s work and beliefs. He studies hard to become a lawyer himself, hoping to one day get to work side by side with dear old dad. Between the children he’s the voice of reason, often having to hold his sister back or apologise for her words (even if he isn’t actually sorry). Unlike Petra, he doesn’t really understand what the deal is with his dad and Dr Livesey. The doctor seems nice enough?
