Bad news: new mouse in the apartment. Again.

Worser news: after i had my initial freak out that made my heart melt and I feel bad that it has to die

Even worser news: I caught a glimpse of it as it scampered out of the bedroom to the kitchen and it had giant years and a short tail and now I feel really really bad about the fact that it has to die

Worst news: I can't capture it and adopt it

Good news: theta checked herself all over and no sign of biting or scratching (I was tucked under the weighted blanket so it couldn't get to me)

Oreo is here and is getting settled in his new custom condo ❤️ he's super super sweet so far! as soon as i opened the door to his carrier, he came right out and started exploring his new space.

once he's had a week or two to adjust to his new environment, we will be making a vet appointment for him to be neutered, and then a month after that, we can begin working on bonding him and Squiggles!

i wanna take my cat in one of those stupid fucking bubble backpacks around so bad. i wanna take him on a walk to the park. i want to bring him around like one of those rich ladies with the dog purses. i want to cuddle and smooch him and make him go feral after those laser point toys and i want to feed him catnip until he's even stupider than normal
