Mark used to be afraid of Pest because of the mutants' bad reputation (adding to his phobia generated by Glevil...) He once had the courage to ask about it, of course the beetle-guy believed he was an ignorant man who let himself be guided by the tabloid notes in the newspaper.

The Texan usually collects bottle caps, nuts or bolts, other times coins to give to Pest, knowing his fascination with shiny things. He didn't respond, however he left all those things in a box to take care of them and not lose them in his messy room.

Bad smoking habit. No matter the time or moment of the day, during their conversations they smoke; both of them bring their cigarettes closer to light them together.

Pest has knowledge in mechanics, and tired of hearing Mark's complaints, he usually lends a hand to his old truck: changing the oil, putting in new (stolen) parts, fixing the engine, etc...

Road trips. They listen to the old radio in the truck, they usually have conversations and other times they remain in a deep and comfortable silence, the beetle-boy sometimes falls asleep and rests his head on his shoulder.

They are the black cat x golden retriever.

The Texan is someone who usually uses affectionate nicknames, he usually calls him by "bug-boy", "buggy" or "Pesty".

Mark thought for a while that he was no longer old enough to love and be loved, his youth had passed and it would not be the same, spending time with the albino, his thoughts changed.

Pest is not good at expressing his emotions, so he communicates through details, he usually gives a slice of apple pie to him.

He often "borrows" Mark's tools.

The Texan is often amazed at the thief's skills, although he doesn't like to admit it, it has helped them get out of several problems when they were investigating the Torchwood factories.

The bug-boy decided to build prosthetic legs for him.

The real cowboy x gothic.

Mark is aware of how insecure Pest often feels about the scars on his body, from those days when he was a test subject or when he had no other way to vent. He usually gives him kisses and words of affection, although the abino is not one to give an answer, he appreciates his closeness.

"I still can't have feelings for you..." x "If I do things for you, it's not so you'll love me, it's so you'll know that I love you." No matter the order, they are.

Maybe on their first date they went to bet on a pig race.

When they found out they were both banned from the Red Ball Diner, they laughed out loud.

One is a Nirvana fan, the other is a Guns 'n Roses fan, they often exchange songs to get to know new music.
