In a flare and watching stranger things so here’s a Steve headcannon:
Steve suffers with chronic pain after everything not just migraines but bone deep pain that just nags at him until either Robin or Eddie convince him to at least try out a mobility aid and of course he’s hesitant at first. He’s so used to being the big strong protector of the group and he feels like the aid is a sign of weakness but after much convincing (and nagging on Robins part) he finally gets a cane and it changes his view completely. He’s actually able to move without too much pain,he able to keep up with the kids again something he’s been struggling with since Vecna and most importantly he has freedom again. Honestly I just need Steve with a mobility aid <3

Stranger Things disability thought since I’m rewatching season 3 now:
Okay I know not everyone likes Billy so I guess warning? But like Immunocompromised Billy after Starcourt is so fucking personal to me. Like imagine him having to learn to function with the knowledge that the littlest cold or flu could knock him on his ass or even kill him. Imagine him having to learn wearing a mask in public and nearly fighting the first person who insults him about it.(Likely Jason but I digress) Imagine Max actually getting to have a good brother-sister relationship because they understand each other’s pains after Vecna (yes this is everyone lives nobody dies) I just needed to put this out here..

More stranger things disability’s headcannons since I’m on season 4 now: Eddie Edition BABY!!!
Okay so of course we know Eddie likely as chronic pain from the bats it’s likely like Fibromyalgia due to bats most literally eating his nerves and shit. I think like Steve he uses a mobility more likely a Rollator or a Wheelchair that he of course decorates to hell and back with like paint and stickers. I also think Eddie is likely immunocompromised from being in the hospital on pain meds for so long(same Eds same) and so he has to be careful when goes out. I also love the idea that he thinks his scars are cool but I feel like he’s also a little insecure about the ones on his body, he’s so afraid of what someone might think when they see him or the age old question of “What happened to you?” comes up which makes him absolutely ashamed at some points (Though when he gets with Steve he finds comfort in knowing they share the same scars). These are just a few of my disability headcannon for Ed’s mostly physical maybe I’ll do a mental health/neruodivergences post on the boys later but for now have these :D
