Me: Hey, love, I forgot did I tell you about this plot point I've been scratching my head about. Hubs: Yeah? Why? Me: Kinda stuck on the reason (character) gets abandoned by their parents. Hubs: Why not use your own trauma of being threatened to be abandoned because you didn't want to go to university when you were 18. Me: OH, THAT WOULD MAKE SO MUCH MORE SENSE.
