I watched (¾ of) breakfast at tiffanys for the first time this week and it's such a goofy film purely because Paul's so passive for most of it because Holly keeps involving him in stuff and he's just there like 🧍 damn guess I'm doing this now

#Honestly one of my favourite characters #Because he's a writer #He just stands around getting dragged into shit #Holly assumes he does the same sort of stuff she does (and she's right)#He meets the younger mafia guy that mentored Holly at a party and has several queer occurances #Aka the “Fred baby” “No- it's Paul baby" chats #Helped a tall dark handsome guy at that party escape from cops #I was so sure they were just going to make out when they ran into the bathroom #Gets called the wrong name 90% of the time #Paul was bad for telling Holly's extremely suspicious (and downright nonce) husband where she was though #Apply the girl code dude #Some things in that film are badly outdated #It's a classic tho glad I watched it #It was going on too long tho
