Ryland Storms, Vinnie Hacker, Patrick Hutson
-
Ryland didn't know what to do anymore to make you happy. You spent so much time in bed, you barley left your room since you moved into the house.
Y/n was sitting in her room watching a movie. She was watching Dirty Dancing for the third time this week. Ryland was talking to Vinnie and Patrick, "She's like frustrating, all she's been doing is either watch Vampire Diaries or Dirty Dancing. I can't take it any more." Ryland complained.
"So she hasn't been paying attention to you?" Vinnie asked
Ryland nodded, "So that explains why you've been a dick more than usual." Patrick said then took a seat by a stool.
"Ryland you need to get laid." Vinnie said.
Ryland let out a sigh, "Don't you think I know this. Y/n hasn't let me touch her in over a month." Ryland confessed.
"Put her in a mood." Vinnie said.
"Or try something new." Patrick suggested.
Ryland thought for a moment, "You guys wanna help me make y/n happy." Ryland asked with a smirk.
-
Ryland walked into his girlfriends room. He already knew that she was watching her show and he rolled his eyes as he saw it on the screen again. He sat down by her, "Baby I wanna do something." Ryland said.
Y/n looked at him, "What?" She said.
"I wanna put you in handcuffs, and I wanna blindfold you for this surprise if you don't mind." Ryland said looking over his girlfriend.
Ryland thought everything about her was sexy. She never thought she was ever good enough to be with him but he made her feel good about herself. She trusted him with her whole life, "Okay." she responded.
-
Y/n's hands were cuffed to the headboard. Her eyes were covered she couldn't see anything but she could hear the door open then close, "Ryland?" Y/n questioned.
"I'm right here baby." Ryland spoke.
He stood by her stroking her hair, "So what's your surprise?" Y/n questioned.
Ryland leaned down giving you a peck ignoring your words. You were only in your bra and underwear, "Your surprise is here." Ryland whispered in your ear.
Vinnie and Patrick stood by the bed as they looked Y/n all over. Ryland motioned for them to move over closer making sure to be quiet. Ryland turned on your vibrator handing it to Vinnie, "Use it on her." Ryland whispered
"What was that baby?" Y/n asked.
"Nothing, just relax." Ryland cooed.
Vinnie stood in front of you , eyeing you up and down. He placed the vibrator on your stomach dragging it down your abdomen. He dragged it down more making it touch your clit, "Ryland." Y/n moaned.
She hadn't been touched in months. This was the first time in two months Ryland actually touched her, "You like it babe?" Ryland in her ear.
It hit her, if Ryland just whispered in her ear then who the hell was between her legs, "Ryland who's in here?" Y/n asked while closing her legs.
"It's just Vinnie and Patty. They wanna help make you feel better. If that's okay with you." Ryland said.
"I wanna see." Y/n whispered.
You heard Ryland chuckle at you, "Okay." Ryland spoke.
Ryland took off her blindfold. She saw Vinnie between her legs which made her open her again. Vinnie smirked looking at her, "You're both okay with this?" Vinnie asked.
They both nodded your heads. Vinnie took action by grabbing your thighs and moving you back towards him more. He moved her legs open more and placed the vibrator on her clit, "You like that?" Vinnie asked
Y/n nodded her head, "Can you use your words princess?" Vinnie asked politely.
"Yes Vinnie I like it." Y/n let out.
She let out moans as she arched her back, "More please." Y/n spoke.
Vinnie chuckled, "What do you want pretty girl?" Vinnie asked.
Vinnie leaned down and kissed her collarbone then kissed down the valley of her clothed breast's. Y/n watched his every movement, "Can I take this off?" Vinnie asked referring to her bra.
"Yes." Y/n whispered.
Vinnie put his hands under her back and quickly took it off her. He moved down to where she wanted him the most. He knelt down in front of you. His breath fanned over her clit before he started to devour her. He licked a stripe from her entrance to her throbbing clit.
"Vinnie please." Y/n whispered.
Patty put his hands on her tits playing with them. Rylands mouth was working on her neck, "Ryland take these stupid hand cuffs off." Y/n moaned.
Ryland stops what he was doing and grabbed the key. He quickly unlocked them and her hands flew to Vinnie's hair. Patty was sucking on her tits, Ryland went back to kissing her neck.
Y/n grinded down on Vinnie's face. Vinnie gave Ryland a look. He noticed and gave him and okay.
Y/n was in a daze, she didn't know someone could receive so much pleasure before. She didn't realize that Vinnie was about to fuck her. Vinnie stuck his tip in and that's when she opened her eyes to see her boyfriends best friend trying to fuck her.
Vinnie stuck himself all the way, "Oh my god." Y/n moaned.
Vinnie thrusts started slow then slowly progressed to being more rough and hard. Y/n threw her head back looking at Ryland as he was jerking off to the sight of her while kissing her neck, "Ryland." Y/n whispered.
"Mmh?" Ryland questioned.
"Kiss me." Y/n whispered back.
Ryland smirked against her skin. He moved up and his lips moved into hers. Ryland wrapped his hand around her throat, "Is this good baby? Do you feel better now?" Ryland asked her in ear.
Y/n opened her eyes to look at Ryland, "It feels so good." Y/n whispered.
Vinnie grabbed her vibrator again and turned it on full speed. He placed it on her clit and her jaw dropped as she stopped kissing Ryland. Ryland continues to kiss her, "Your taking us so good." Ryland whispered.
"Vinnie how does she feel?" Ryland asked.
"So good." Vinnie grunted.
Patty was close to making himself come so he stopped kissing her chest and she whimpered at the loss of contact of his wet mouth, "Patty why did you stop?" Y/n asked
"Because I'm gonna come." He spoke.
Y/n moved his hand off of him then replaced it with her mouth. She turned her head to face him, "Just use me." Y/n said looking up at him.
Patty smirked as he moved her head at a fast past. He hit the back of her throat several time but she just took it. Vinnie put more pressure of the vibrator on her clit. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, she moaned on Patty's dick. The vibration made Patrick come in her mouth, "Fuck," Patrick said as he pulled out.
Y/n was still getting pounded by Vinnie, "I'm gonna come." Y/n said.
Y/n kept letting out moans as Vinnie's thrusts slowed down. He pulled out of her but kept the vibrator in her for a few more seconds. She squirmed but then Ryland moved to Vinnie spot. She shoved his middle finger in her entrance, "Keep that on her." Ryland said looking at Vinnie.
"Holy f-fuck- oh god." Y/n moaned.
His fingers were moving fast as he was trying to get her to squirt. Ryland grabbed it from Vinnie placing the vibrator in her then started sucking on her clit. She pulled on his hair bringing his face closer between her thighs, "Oh please make me come." Y/n whimpered.
Ryland giggled against her listening to her pleading, "Whatever you want princess." Ryland spoke.
Ryland started moving the vibrator in and out of you and sucking harder on your clit. Y/n felt her stomach tighten, "I'm gonna come again." Y/n spoke.
She let go and it went on Rylands face. Vinnie and Patrick were gone. Ryland moved up and wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, "So did you like your surprise?" Ryland asked.
"Yes I did." Y/n said while kissing his lips.
"Good." Ryland said placing a kiss on her forehead.

@glassmenagerieofmuses // cont.
Patty was thankful that Stan and his friends had accepted her into the group so easily. She found it difficult to make friends with the girls in her class. They thought she was much too chatty. But the Losers had Richie, so what was another chatterbox to the mix? At least she helped Stan keep them from being complete idiots. She made room for him under the blanket, a quick invisible shiver running up her spine as their legs brushed against each other. She looked down at their hands as he explained the method, hoping the light of the fire didn’t make her smile look too wide. “You’re really good at this. You’re a scout, right? I can tell. My cousin, Ryland, was a scout too. ‘Cept he wasn’t really good at it. You are though. I usually end up burning my food when I cook on a fire.”

Season 2 Information
Here we go again...
“Here we go again…”
Welcome back to Mixedverse!
The previous server ended awhile back, but due to prolonged interest in the AU and people wanting to do more for it, we’ve rebooted it! It’s a bit different now, though.
When we began the last server, most people didn’t really understand how things worked or exactly what was happening. Our biggest misunderstanding was assuming that MV (Mirrorverse) characters were being brought into the NV (Normalverse) world, rather then them both being merged into a middle ground.
Although that is still our official lore for this AU, we decided for the RP server we would go along with it! So…
For our AU, it’s the opposite of that.
The characters from the NV world have been sucked into the MV world, while going about their business. All you have to do to get there is blink.
Other Changes:
The most important changes have been to the application and muse receiving processes.
Applications for the most part have stayed the same, however there’s a new concept called muse lock that we’re using.
There are short periods where muses are unlocked. You may claim characters, trade characters with other people, and whatever else you wish to do with them during this time. However..
When you are muse locked you may not claim any new characters or obtain new characters in anyway. The only thing that you can still do is drop muses, however they may not be replaced with a new one until the next time that muses are unlocked.
Well, what are the times that muses are unlocked? What does that mean for joining?
Sadly, another thing that we’re going to be including is that you can only join while muses are unlocked. However, we will be accepting applications at any time! They’ll just only be approved once new muses can be taken. This also gives us time to look over everything and make sure that everyone has a fair shot at getting the muses that they want.
We are currently accepting applications!
The next time muses will be unlocked: July 1st - 4th 2019 ---------------------------
Mixedverse AU Information
Welcome to Mixedverse
Two verses merge, they’re similar but the people that reside in them are.. very different. And no one knows who’s who.
“Two verses merge, they’re similar but the people that reside in them are.. very different. And no one knows who’s who.”
Welcome to the Mixedverse AU! It’s a Mirrorverse AU where MV characters and normal characters (Normalverse) have been introduced to a similar, middle-ground verse.
At first, they might not notice anything at first. Maybe they only run into people from the same verse at first- But then, they notice that one of their friends is actually COMPLETELY abnormal. Slowly but surely they’ll eventually realize that something is wrong.
This is a good opportunity to explore different types of relationships! As well as have a slightly over-arching plot over the entire story.
Mirrorverse Info
Mirrorverse is an AU that was inspired by the Spookyfish episode of South Park, where a mirrored version of Stan, Kyle, and Cartman came into the world. It’s most commonly known where it was represented in a Kyman fanfic, as well as artwork from sleepyeule. You do not need to have read this fic.
The basic premise is that the characters are.. well, mirrored. That doesn’t mean they’re complete opposites, but some of their most important traits are removed. The best example of this is with Cartman. Mirrorverse Cartman has his general horrible and selfishness removed- Which leaves him kind, empathetic, but he’s still pretty gullible and manipulative like he is normally.
[Note; if anyone is shying away from taking an MV character because they either don’t know how a character would act or haven’t done it before- I suggest taking a muse you normally wouldn’t do since they’re going to be mirrored. As well as, ask for help if you’re having trouble at all.]
Normalverse Info
Normalverse is a weird thing to call it, but it’s basically just the canon world! The characters are just as you know them, and there’s nothing too big to note.

-------------------------
Rules
Rules for the Discord group!
1. Have common decency. I’d prefer not to have multiple rules just telling you to be a chill person and respect people. No harassment, bullying, shaming people, etc. Just be reasonable, you don’t have to get along with everyone or be completely unconditionally nice, obviously, but be civil!
2. If you’re uncomfortable, tell someone. This goes hand in hand with the first thing, but if you have drama going on with someone, if you’re being harassed, or if you have a problem with someone, tell a mod or the owner. They’re there for a reason: to help you!
3. Stay in character. Keep in character, there will be a bit more lee-way for Mirrorverse characters than for Normalverse characters since they’re up to interpretation. There will still be standards for them, though, and expectations for how they should act in a mirrored sense. Relationships shouldn’t be changed entirely and characters shouldn’t have sporadic personality changes.
4. Whatever’s in the show is okay. South Park uses slurs constantly, is generally inappropriate and gross, and if you’ve watched the show then you should expect this. I’m completely up for helping people feel more comfortable if they do have things that really upset them, but I’d like to make it clear that I want people to be comfortable using what’s been aired on public television.
5. Minors are allowed. We’re more selective when it comes to people that are underage, but we do allow them! There’s no NSFW allowed, and be aware that some of the people you might interact with could be under 18.
6. Roleplay etiquette. Basically, follow the basic, more well-known roleplaying rules. No god-modding, auto-hitting, mary sues, self-inserts, match post length, try to keep from really small posts if you’re doing literate RP.
7. IC =/= OOC. If a character says something mean to a character in a roleplay, that’s from a character to another character. It’s not to you personally, and those things should be entirely independent of each other.
8. Please be active. If you know you have issues with activity, which is perfectly fine, please inform someone and try to take a role that’s not going to require you to be there constantly. IE, someone playing Stan and only being here once a week could be a problem, but someone playing a character like Pip or a kinder would be completely acceptable.
9. No ship drama. Please, don’t force-ship, don’t shame people for certain ships, for liking things, for not liking things. Shipping is really subjective and some people are different. However, on that note, pedophilic and incestuous ships aren’t accepted in this server in any respect.
10. Characters can die. Muses can be seriously injured and even killed! If a muse is killed, they will never be brought back.
11. Joining? To join the Discord server, submit an application to this Tumblr using the application. If you know someone that’s already in the server, it’s generally easier to get in.
We are accepting applications at all times!
We will be approving applications and letting people join the server through July 1st - 4th 2019.

LUCY AND THE BOGIE AFFAIR
S2;E13 ~ December 15, 1969
Directed by Herbert Kenwith ~ Written by Pat McCormick and Jim McGinn
Synopsis
When Kim and Craig find a stray dog in the rain, they take it home and name it Bogie. Next morning, it gives birth to a litter of puppies! Just as they've managed to give away all the puppies to good homes, Harry hears that there's a reward and they have to retrieve them again!
Regular Cast
Lucille Ball (Lucy Carter), Gale Gordon (Harrison Otis Carter), Lucie Arnaz (Kim Carter), Desi Arnaz Jr. (Craig Carter)
Guest Cast
Lord Nelson (Bogie) makes his fourth appearance with Lucille Ball after playing Nelson, Mr. Mooney's dog in three episodes of “The Lucy Show.”
Jack LaLanne (Himself) was a nationally known exercise guru who owned a chain of health clubs and hosted a long-running television show from 1952 to 1983.
Happy (Himself) is Jack LaLanne's dog. He appeared with LaLanne on many of his television shows.
Eugene Molnar (Jack's Cameraman) appeared on four episodes of the series. These are his only screen credits.
Sherry Alberoni (Candy) was a second-season replacement Mousketeer on “The Mickey Mouse Club” (1955). She also dubbed Patty Duke's vocals in the film Valley of the Dolls (1967). This is her only appearance with Lucille Ball.
Steve March (Steve) is the son of Mel Torme and the adopted son of the Arnaz family's friend, Hal March. Mel Torme appeared several times on “The Lucy Show.” Hal March appeared on “I Love Lucy.” Steve March will appear in one more episode starring Sammy Davis Jr. and will write a song for an episode starring Ann-Margret.
Debbie Westcott (Debbie Westcott) was the daughter of Desilu Prop Master Kenneth Westcott. This is her only screen credit.
Irwin Charone (Mr. Farnsworth) made five appearances on “The Lucy Show.” The expressive character actor also did an equal number of “Here’s Lucy” episodes. He died in January 2016 in Maplewood, New Jersey, at the age of 93.
This is the first of 14 episodes directed by Herbert Kenwith. Born in New Jersey, Kenwith started out as an actor on Broadway, and then produced 65 productions at Princeton's McCarter Theatre. One of these starred a young Lucille Ball, in a show headed to Broadway but never made it due to the serious illness of its leading man. He died in 2008 at the age of 90.
This is the first and only episode of the series written by comedian turned writer Pat McCormick. McCormick previously wrote “Lucy in London” in 1966. This is the only episode written by Jim McGinn as well as his only collaboration with McCormick.
Lucille Ball was a dog lover and owned many dogs during her life.
Kim and Craig name the dog they find Bogie because it had the same sad look standing in the rain as Humphrey Bogart does at the end of 1942's Casablanca.
When Kim effusively hugs her mother when she comes home, Lucy reminds her she was “just at work, not walking on the moon!” The moon walk of John Glenn and Buzz Aldrin occurred on July 20, 1969 just after this episode went before the cameras.
Coming home in a thunderstorm, Lucy unwittingly says “It's not a fit night out for man, nor beast!” not knowing the kids have hidden Bogie in the kitchen. Lucy initially attributes the quote to Shakespeare (wrong!) and then to W.C. Fields (right!). The line was spoken by Fields in the 1933 film The Fatal Glass of Beer. The quote was also spoken by Gale Gordon in “Lucy and the Monsters” (TLS S3;E18).
When Lucy sees Bogie in the kitchen, she jokes that he's a shaggy horse and calls him “Matt Dillon's last mount!” Matt Dillon was a character played by James Arness (above) on “Gunsmoke,” the long-running western that was “Here's Lucy's” lead-in on CBS.
After Lucy agrees to let Bogie stay, she says “If you want anything, just whistle” paraphrasing Lauren Bacall's famous line to Humphrey Bogart in the film To Have and Have Not (1944).
The nine puppies go to:
Stevie – Craig's girl crazy classmate
Blanche – Lucy's lonely friend from New Orleans
Candy – Kim's friend looking for the latest trend
Pauline Lopus – Lucy's friend looking for a watchdog
Debbie Westcott – Craig's classmate who takes a puppy in exchange for going steady with Craig
Natalie Schwartz (unseen) – a friend of Craig's
Freddy Dawson (unseen) – a friend of Kim's
Lucy tries to give one to Jack LaLanne but he ends up giving her one of his dog Happy's pups instead. Including the one she was intending to give LaLanne, this still leaves one puppy unaccounted for by the script.
Lucy's telephone call with an unseen Blanche from New Orleans is likely a nod to Tennessee Williams' 1947 play and 1951 film A Streetcar Named Desire, whose principal character Blanche Dubois lives in New Orleans.
To convince Candy that owning old English Sheepdog puppies is the newest fad, Kim crops photos of the pups with music celebrities Barbra Streisand and Herb Alpert and tapes the photos to the inside of her locker. In 1969 singer Streisand won an Oscar for her performance in the film Funny Girl. Herb Albert was a trumpeter who performed with his group the Tijuana Brass. In 1969 they released the album Warm.
Lucy's telephone call with the unseen Pauline Lopus is a tribute to her childhood friend Flo Pauline Lopus, whose name used on many Lucille Ball sitcoms.
Harry has been diagnosed with an allergy to dog fur. In “Lucy and Harry's Tonsils” (S2;E5) we learn that Harry is also allergic to flowers.
Harry dictates a letter to Rylander, Mosier and Tebbit. These names are Gale Gordon's go-to addressees for dictation, having been used on both “Here's Lucy” and on “The Lucy Show.”
Craig says he is now going steady with both Debbie Westcott and Natalie Schwartz. Kim has to go the prom and the spring formal with Freddy Dawson (who she calls “The Creature from the Black Lagoon”). Both Natalie and Freddy don't appear on camera. In real life, Natalie Schwartz was a wealthy friend of Lucille Ball's from Rancho Mirage. Her husband Danny was the owner of Elmhurst Dairies in Queens, NY.
Trying to get the reward for Bogie and the nine pups, Harry appoints himself banker of the group. This is ironic since Gale Gordon's previous character with Lucille Ball was banker Theodore J. Mooney.
In the high school scenes, Craig wears his letter sweater with the large “A” on the chest. It was mentioned in “Lucy and Carol Burnett” (S1;E17, above) that Kim and Craig attend Angeles High School. In that episode, many of these sweaters were worn by the boys in the chorus of the musical fundraiser.
Humphrey Bogart never appeared on screen with Lucille Ball. However, in “Ricky's Movie Offer” (ILL S4;E5) Desi Arnaz does an impression of Bogart.
In “Lucy and the Andrews Sisters” (S2;E6) Lucy blows a kiss to a large poster of Bogart from the movie Casablanca. Coincidentally, a poster of W.C. Fields - who Lucy quotes in the episode - is hung next to Bogart!
Lucy's children bring home a dog against their mother's wishes, just like Little Ricky did in “Little Ricky Gets a Dog” (ILL S6;E14).
The only other “Lucy” show to feature more dogs was “Lucy and Viv Learn Judo” (TLS S1;E22) in 1963.
Shut the Door! When Harry comes in to share the news about the reward, he leaves the front door open – in a house with unleashed dogs!
Where the Floor Ends! In Jack LaLanne's studio and in the Carter home, the camera pulls back too far and reveals the cement stage floor. This is a weekly occurrence.
“Lucy and the Bogie Affair” rates 3 Paper Hearts out of 5
This episode is for dog lovers! The cute puppies and shaggy Bogie are the best parts. There is some attempt at a funny montage of getting rid of the dogs to various owners, but it lacks comic rhythm. Jack LaLanne was a better fitness coach than an actor! Unusually, the comic finale of the episode happens off-screen!

How LGBTQ people are breaking down barriers to take on the great outdoors
Up until approximately, mmm, yesterday, there's been a enduring stereotype of "outdoorsy" people: They're white, cis, straight, and love granola and/or semi-automatic rifles.
Of course, there have always been people who love nature and don't fall into any of those categories. And over the past few years, opportunities for LGBTQ people who want to camp, hike, and otherwise spend time with *real plants in nature* — not aloe plants in apartments — have grown exponentially.
Between summer camps for adult trans folks and stripper-heels-wearing backpacking queens, there's a growing outdoors community on Instagram and even in real life.
It's a quiet change, but it's one that matters.
SEE ALSO: Watch Pattie Gonia, the world's first backpacking queen, strut
Perry Cohen is the founder and executive director of The Venture Out Project, which takes queer and trans people out into the wilderness for short day hikes and longer wilderness trips. Cohen, a trans man, grew up with friends who spent their summers with Outward Bound and other camps. His friends described camp as a "life-changing experience" where they could go and "be with people who didn't know them ... and have a new identity."
Cohen was intrigued. He knew he was queer and was excited to be in a space where he could explore a new identity. But when he arrived at camp, "the group was already divided between boys and girls. I thought, 'I don't think this is going to be any different. I probably shouldn't tell them I listen to the Indigo Girls.'"
Cohen learned plenty of outdoor skills at camp. He just didn't get to do it while being his true self.
Fast forward 20 years, though, and throw in two of the most powerful social movements of the 21st century. Cohen, together with a diverse group of LGBTQ activists and performers, is helping to reduce the "nature gap" and ensure that queer and trans youth have better experiences than he did.
Here's how the barriers are being broken.
LGBTQ activists are making rural America a safer, queerer place
Queer culture has always been concentrated in cities — on paper, at least. Even in 2018, most people who identify as queer continue to live in large metropolitan areas like San Francisco and New York City. Big and typically progressive, these urban areas have become home to bustling queer communities and their culture, often defined just by nightlife.
That doesn't mean queer culture is confined to cities, or that there aren't members of the community who want to venture into the great outdoors.
Pattie Gonia, "the world's first backpacking queen," knows this well. Artist and photographer Wyn Wiley, who lives in Nebraska, plays Pattie. Wiley grew up in the cornfields near Colorado, an area not exactly known for its queer community. Nonetheless, he's found a loving home in this part of the country and in nature. It's a home he loves to share on his Instagram as Pattie.
In her first month on Instagram, Pattie has already gained over 18,000 followers.
"I'm pretty vastly loved and accepted for who I am back home," Wiley says. "There's a really big queer queer community in the Midwest in its own little fissures."

Not all queer and trans people feel quite as comfortable as Wiley does in rural spaces.
Elyse Rylander is the Executive Director of Out There Adventures, which takes queer and trans youth and adults on wilderness adventures. Some of her clients experience real anxiety about rural areas and the people they might encounter there.

"There's a historical trauma of being out in rural spaces," Rylander says. She mentions Matthew Shepard, who was murdered in 1998 in Laramie, Wyoming, for being gay. "They want to know, "What am I going to experience out there in the back country?.. I'd much rather encounter a black or brown bear than somebody whose motives I don't know."
Rylander works hard to mitigate young people's anxiety in rural areas. And people are more accepting of queer and trans people in 2018 than they were in 1998, even in rural areas and even as violence persists. Young queer and trans people who want to safely explore nature now can, thanks to programs like Rylander's.
LGBTQ adults are making up for lost time at camp
For many queer and trans adults, summer camp remains a lost part of their childhood. Plenty of LGBTQ people went to camp, but they often weren't out there. It was supposed to be a refuge from school and a place to explore new identities; instead, it became a confining experience.
Cohen initially set out to create an Outward Bound for queer youth. Venture Out's earliest programming was dedicated exclusively to this population. Over time, Cohen began to field more and more requests from adults who wanted to make up for the experiences they never got in their youth.
"They'd tell me "I never got to do this as a kid. I never got to backpack in this identity. I want to do it as me."
A few years ago, Cohen started leading trips for adults. The trips sold out their very first season.
Venture Out trips are for more than just the kids.

Nowadays, Venture Out offers multiple options for people in the queer community: youth trips, POC trips, adult trips, trans trips, and family trips, where at least one person in the family is queer or trans identified.
Some camps are a little more targeted. Rocco Kayiatos is a founder and camp director at Camp Lost Boys, which is exclusively for men who have had trans experiences. Rocco transitioned 20 years ago, during the "dark ages for trans representation." Having grown up with almost no trans male role models, he believes in the power of creating a space for men of trans experience to be with each other as men.
"We have people who identify as men in all stages of their transition, including those who visibly don't read as male. But no one is going to ask them what their PGP [personal gender pronoun] is here. They're fortified that weekend as their true male self."
The camp provides a unique opportunity, Kaviatos says. "As a trans people, the things offered to us are bars, nightclubs or academic causes and health conferences ... There's no real spaces to gather and have fun and ... not have these academic conversations or engage in this politicized way."

With Camp Lost Boys, Kaviatos hopes to provide an intergenerational camp where trans men "get to be men, and recapture and reclaim this piece of childhood they didn't get."
Camp Lost Boys exclusively serves men of trans experience but prioritizes men of color and older generations who are even less likely to have access to services like Lost Boys.
Both camps work hard to pull people away from their phones and toward nature and the people around them. In 2018, there are dozens of other operations just like them.
Even social media is breaking barriers
It's an awkward relationship. If if weren't for digital media, some of these camps that resist technology probably wouldn't exist.
As much as I hate giving the platforms credit for anything, it's hard to ignore the spike in representation of LGBTQ hikers on Instagram. A few years ago, Jenny Bruso started the Instagram account Unlikely Hikers, which features LGTBQ, POC, and people with disabilities out in nature. The account has since grown to 49 thousand followers. It's a beautiful thing.

Cohen credits Instagram for a spike of interest in his camp and LGBTQ outdoor recreation in general.
"There's been an explosion in social media of diverse representation of people in the outdoors, that's inspired lots of people to think, 'Oh, I can do this.' As our participant group has become more diverse, it's helped attract more and more people to our trips."
Pattie's account, which features her in heels downing Cheetos in the wilderness, has a quiet social mission as well.
"I am the worst at doing my own makeup and doing everything that a normal queen can do. So I decided to break the mold and do whatever I do ... I put on this pair of heels and took it up to the mountains."
Pattie knows that representation matters, and can even make a difference in the smallest of ways:
"I just think that comes from the lens of seeing a lot of my activist friends do incredible shit. [But] it's not engaging online so it's hard to get eyes on it. Pattie Gonia is my way of challenging people and creating a fun and open space online."
LGBTQ people have a long way to go when it comes to equal representation in just about ... anything. Still, they're slowly making their way up the mountain, one summer camp, Instagram post, and one viral music video at a time.

What we know about the victims of the Texas church shooting
AP Photo/Darren Abate
Details about the victims in Sunday's shooting at a church in Texas continue to emerge.
The victims spanned generations, ranging in age from an unborn child to a 77-year-old.
At least eight members of a single family were killed.
At least 26 people were killed and more than 20 others were injured on Sunday when a man walked into the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, and started shooting.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called the massacre the deadliest in state history.
The victims spanned generations. The youngest killed was an unborn child. Details of the victims have emerged as relatives of the deceased speak out. Here are some of their stories:
The Holcombe family
Facebook
At least eight members of a single family died in the attack.
Joe Holcombe said his granddaughter-in-law, Crystal Holcombe, died along with her unborn child and three of her children, 13-year-old Greg, 11-year-old Emily, and 8-year-old Megan.
Joe also said that his grandson, Marc Daniel Holcombe, 36, and his infant daughter Noah, died. Joe's son, 60-year-old Bryan Holcombe and his 58-year-old wife Karla Holcombe were also killed.
The Ward family
Facebook
Joann Ward and two of her daughters, 5-year-old Brooke and 7-year-old Emily Garza, were killed, Dallas News reported. A third child — 5-year-old Ryland — was shot and treated at a hospital. Ryland emerged in stable condition after undergoing surgery. He is expected to survive.
Annabelle Pomeroy
Facebook Annabelle Pomeroy, the 14-year-old daughter of one of the church's pastors, was killed along with many friends, according to her mother. Sherri Pomeroy said she and her husband were out of town when the shooting took place. Her father Frank described Annabelle as "one very beautiful, special child."
Richard and Therese Rodriguez
Richard Rodriguez and his wife Therese also died. Both of them were retired. Richard's only daughter, Regina, told The Washington Post that her father "was the person I went to if I had a problem."
"He taught me how to love. I didn't call anybody else but him. And now I can't even call him."
Karen and Scott Marshall
This was the Marshall couple's very first visit to the First Baptist Church. The Washington Post reported that Karen was planning to retire from the Air Force and was in the middle of moving from Washington to Texas.
Lula Woicinski White
White was the grandmother of the gunman's wife. She was 71.
"My sister was a wonderful, caring person — a God-loving person," Mary Mishler Clyburn told the New York Daily News. "I miss her badly already. We texted every day. We loved each other to the moon and back."
Robert and Shani Corrigan
The Detroit Free Press reported that the Corrigans were Michigan natives. They were high school sweethearts. The two had moved to rural Texas to start a new life years ago.
"[Robert] was always a gentleman — never judging who you were or where you came from. He treated everyone equally," said Patty Root, a longtime family friend. "We will miss him. And everyone needs to know what a fine man he grew up to be. He did not come from a rich family — just a family that loved to help others."
Tara McNulty
Facebook One of her best friends, Amber Maricle, messaged McNulty after hearing news about the shooting. In a text, she remarked how "the shooting was so close to [Tara]," without knowing that she was caught up in it, according to The Washington Post.
Haley Krueger
GoFundMe A family friend of Haley's set up a GoFundMe campaign online to raise money for her surviving family.
Her friend describes Haley as "a beautiful, vibrant, 16-year-old girl, and was excited about the bright future ahead of her. She loved babies, and had dreams of becoming a NICU nurse. In her mother’s words 'Haley loved life and was the most dramatic person.'"
Other victims
Details about some of the other victims are still beginning to surface. Dennis and Sara Johnson were killed. Their family confirmed their deaths but declined to comment further, The Washington Post reported.
ABC News reported that Peggy Warden, 56, Keith Allen Braden, 62, and Emily Garcia, 7, also died.
A CNN reporter tweeted the full list of victims who died:

The Sinclair is Now Officially Open for Business
One of the most dramatic transformations in recent Gold Coast history has been pulled off by Fifield Companies, Jewel-Osco, and SCB.
The Sinclair (Photo: Jeff Schear/Fifield Companies)
The Sinclair (1201 North LaSalle Street) had its grand opening this week, welcoming an estimated 1,201 guests to the new residential tower that now stands where a vaguely scary, certainly run-down Jewel-Osco glowered just a few years ago.
Even the Gold Coast has gritty corners, and this was one of the grittiest. But the plan replacing the dodgy supermarket with shiny new apartments, combined with the CTA’s extensive rebuilding of the adjacent Red Line subway station, has changed the character of this morsel of Chicagoland.
The 35-story building brings 390 new homes to the neighborhood, all within biking distance of the Loop, walking distance of the lake, and shouting distance of the CTA’s main north-south artery. But, please. Don’t shout. It’s still the Gold Coast.
And being the Gold Coast, a 500-square-foot studio will run you $1,900 a month. The four-bedroom penthouse is about the same as a Fiat 500.
Press release after the photos.
More Than 1,200 Guests Celebrate the Grand Opening of The Sinclair Apartments in Chicago’s Gold Coast
Friends, colleagues, partners and neighbors enjoyed two days of exclusive events at the 390-unit uber-luxury apartment high-rise
CHICAGO – Fifield Realty Corp., the development arm of Chicago-based Fifield Cos., celebrated the grand opening of its newest luxury rental tower, The Sinclair, last week with two days of events, which took place at the community on Sept. 19 and 20. Located at 1201 N. LaSalle St. in Chicago’s Gold Coast, the 35-story, 390-unit apartment tower, which includes 35,000 square feet of amenity space, is already 30 percent leased.
“The grand opening of The Sinclair ushers in a new standard of uber-luxury, spa-style living in the Gold Coast that people have been waiting for,” said Randy Fifield, chairwoman of Fifield Realty Corp. “It’s not an easy task to raise the bar on services and interior spaces in a neighborhood that is known for its grandeur and elegance, but we embraced the challenge and created something spectacular.”
The two-evening event celebrated the opening of the building’s six model apartments, furnished and decorated by Morgante Wilson Architects, Brianne Bishop Design, Michael Richman Interiors, Cort Furniture, Brook Furniture, and Modani Furniture, with attendees voting on their favorite model. Morgante Wilson won the design contest on Tuesday evening and Michael Richman won on Wednesday evening. Brianne Bishop was recognized for “Best Design for the Single Girl.”
Guests were also treated to pop-up displays of men’s and women’s fall fashions from Trunk Club, with a $100 raffle each night; paddleboard yoga hosted by Chicago SUP; chair massages, a juice bar and equipment demonstrations by LulaFit; a signature cocktail; and hors d’oeuvres and desserts from Mon Ami Gabi, Café Ba-Ba-Reeba and Catering by Michael’s. Perillo BMW and Bentley Gold Coast luxury car dealerships showcased new automobiles at the building’s entrance.
The grand opening events were also a time for Fifield Realty Corp. to honor the many female employees and consultants who worked on The Sinclair, including Patty McHugh, president of McHugh Construction; Elissa Morgante, co-principal of Morgante Wilson Architects; and Sheyla Conforte, leader of the interior design practice at Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB).
“The success of The Sinclair is due in large part to the high-achieving team of female professionals who worked on this project,” said Fifield. “Thanks to the collaboration of SCB, McHugh Construction and all our design, finance, leasing and construction partners, The Sinclair offers residents the very best in service, craftsmanship and design.”
“This is the third time we’ve decorated a model for one of Randy and Steve’s buildings and each time it’s an inspiring process to deliver a model that reflects the sophistication, comfort and modernity that are hallmarks of a Fifield building,” said Elissa Morgante, co-principal of Morgante Wilson Architects. “Randy’s style and passion for exceptional design mirrors our firm’s commitment to delivering best-in-class living spaces.”
The Sinclair offers studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences, plus four-bedroom penthouses, ranging in size from 500 to 2,600-plus square feet. Rents range from $1,900 per month for a studio to $13,870 per month for a four-bedroom penthouse. Each unit features plank flooring; quartz countertops; frameless glass shower doors or tubs; Grohe Concetto faucets; and Mick De Giulio-inspired kitchens that include marbled porcelain backsplashes, white soft-close cabinets, and GE stainless steel appliances and range hoods. Apartments also feature Nest programmable thermostats, blackout window shades and oversized windows with views of Lake Michigan and the city’s skyline. Private balconies and walk-in closets are available with certain floor plans.
Residents have access to skyline and lake views from the Gold Coast’s largest amenity deck, featuring an outdoor pool and spa; sun terrace; lounge seating; cabanas; fire pit; outdoor grilling kitchens with intimate dining areas; a bar area with refrigerator, sinks and three televisions; gardens; and an 850-square-foot dog run.
Indoor amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness room featuring a Pilates Cadillac Reformer, Power Plate, and separate yoga and private physical therapy studios; 5.1-surround sound screening room; resident lounge with chef’s demonstration kitchen; business center and conference room; dog spa; Starbuck’s coffee bar; bicycle kitchen; 24-hour concierge; and secure-access garage. The Sinclair’s amenity spaces showcase notable artwork from renowned artists such as Alexander Calder, Peter Tunney, Ryland Arnoldi and WRAPPED, Damien Hirst and Frank Stella.
Residents are close to all restaurants, boutiques, nightlife and entertainment available in the Gold Coast. The building is also steps from the CTA’s Red Line Division station and nearby bus stops, providing easy access to the Loop, additional transit lines, Midway and O’Hare International airports and neighborhoods all over the city. Adjacent to The Sinclair is a new 58,000-square-foot flagship Jewel Osco grocery store, which connects to the tower via a sky bridge that is exclusive to residents.
The Sinclair’s leasing office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call (312) 260-3712 or visit http://www.sinclairapts.com.

Patrick Hutson [02]
Patrick was back in Carlsbad visiting with Ryland, Calvin, Nick, and Angel. While he was in town he started hanging out with Y/n more. Y/n was someone that was one of his close friends growing up but since he got back into town things had been different from the two.
"Would you ever consider going to LA?" Patrick asked as he was stoned out of his mind.
Y/n chuckled as she was too, "Maybe one day." Y/n staring at her ceiling.
The two were sitting in Y/n's room. Patrick was sitting up on the bed leaning against the headboard. Y/n was laying on her bed while she was looking at her phone.
"Y/n." Patrick said looking at her.
Y/n finally put her phone down and looked up at him, "What?" Y/n questioned
Patrick looked at her for a moment, "Why are you looking at me like that?" Y/n asked Patrick.
He smiled and looked down, "Nothing." Patrick said.
Y/n got up and sat by him on her bed, "Tell me." Y/n said nudging him.
"I don't know." Patrick said.
"Come on." Y/n insisted.
Patrick just looked at her and smiled once again, "You just- You look pretty tonight." Patrick said looking at her.
Y/n felt herself blush as she looked away. Patrick lightly placed his hand on her chin and moved her face towards his. The two looked into one another's eyes, "I've always thought you were pretty." Patrick confessed.
Y/n looked from his eyes to his lips. She looked up at him once again before he started leaning in, Y/n closed her eyes. Patrick's lips landed on hers. Patrick moved his hand to her neck holding her jaw. Y/n moved back for a moment before looking at him with lust in her eyes.
Y/n quickly straddled his waist, Patrick sat his hands on her hips as she leaned down to kiss him again. The kiss quickly deepened as Patrick swiped her bottom lip with his tongue. He gripped her waist which caused her to let out a groan.
Patrick moved his hand to the button of her shorts. He continued to kiss her as he unbuttoned her shorts. He undid the zipper then put his hand in her pants, "Is this okay?" Patrick asked between kisses.
Y/n only nodded her head. Patrick smirked as he moved her panties to the side. He moved his kisses down to her neck instantly finding her sweet spot. Patrick circled Y/n's clit.
Y/n moved her head letting him have more access to her neck. He stopped kissing her neck. Y/n looked at him as he stopped. He smiled as she looked desperate for me. Y/n moved her hips against his hand for friction, "Hold still or you get nothing." Patrick said in a monotone voice.
"Am I clear?" Patrick asked speeding his fingers against her clit.
Y/n grabbed his wrist in hopes he would slow down, "Answer me." Patrick said.
"Yes, crystal clear." Y/n said as her eyes were closed.
"Good girl." Patrick muttered
Patrick soon plunged two fingers into her entrance causing her body to jolt forward. She moved her face to the crook of his neck trying to kiss his neck. Patrick grabbed the back of her hair yanking her back to look at him again, "I want you to look me in the eyes while I ruin you, okay?" Patrick questions
"Y-Yes." Y/n responded.
Y/n looked into Patrick's blue eyes as he still had a smirk plastered on his face. He quickly moved his thumb to her clit rubbing it while he was still going with his two fingers, "F-Fuck Patrick." Y/n moaned.
Patrick moved his fingers faster in and out of her. She fell apart, her mouth fell apart as she scrunched her eyes shut. Patrick watched her as he loved the sight of it.
"Does it feel good?" Patrick asked with humor in his tone.
"Patrick I'm almost there." Y/n told him.
"You didn't answer my question." Patrick said.
"Yes, it feels good Patty." Y/n said truthfully.
He thrusted his fingers three more times before she finally came. She fell forward and laid on his stomach and looked at him, "Why haven't we done that before?" Y/n questioned to him.
"I've never had the guts to put my hand in your pants, that's why." Patrick confessed.
The two looked at each other then bursted into laughter.

The Sinclair is Now Officially Open for Business
One of the most dramatic transformations in recent Gold Coast history has been pulled off by Fifield Companies, Jewel-Osco, and SCB.

Ryland Storms [02]
"Well if I die, I'm leaving all my things to my cat," Y/n said to the camera as Alex was filming her.
Alex and Thomas let out a laugh. Ryland was the last to get on the plane, the only seat left was the one next to Y/n. He rolled his eyes at her, Y/n was afraid of airplanes and everyone knew that. Ryland put his bag in the top, "You're not gonna die Y/n." Ryland said reassuring her.
Y/n held onto her blanket as she thought about all the awful things that might happen. Everyone was on the plane, the group decided to go on a trip to Mami for a weekend getaway. The plane started taking off and Y/n was shaking she was so nervous her leg started moving up and down from nerves. Ryland placed his hand on her thigh, Y/n looked over at him. He laughed at her reaction, "It's okay, it's only a half hour flight. You'll be alright." Ryland spoke.
-
As the plane was up in the air everyone had their earphones in on their phones excpet for Y/n she was still nervous. Ryland wasn't destracting her anymore so she was about to have a full fledge panic attack. Ryland noticed, he did a double take, he took off his headphones and looked at her. And idea popped into his head, was it a good one? No. Was he gonna do it anyways? Yep.
He put one of his earphones in Y/n's ear. He leaned closer to her, "Hey, I have a question." Ryland said.
Y/n looked at him, "What?" Y/n said.
His hand went back on her thigh, rubbing his hand on her exposed skin. Y/n placed her hand on his wrist, "Have you joined the mile high club yet?" Ryland asked with a smirk on his face.
Y/n didn't know what he was talking about then she thought about it for a moment. Her eyes widened as she realized what that meant, "No." She whispered.
"You want to?" Ryland asked while still rubbing her thigh.
Y/n looked around to see that no one was paying attention at all, "It would be a good distraction." She said.
Ryland smiled as he went back on his phone, Rylands hand went in her sweat pants. Y/n covered him up with her blanket as well so no one would notice. He smiled at her, "Just relax." Ryland told her.
He rubbed her clit through her panties. He was trying to get her worked up a bit. He leaned over to her as Vinnie and Patrick were looking at her, "Patty and Vinnie are looking so be a good girl and dont move or make any sound." Ryland spoke.
"I wasn't really planning on it." Y/n said.
Ryland smiled, "Whatever you say, you can moan in my ear. I bet your moans are pretty." Ryland whispered in her ear.
He moved her panties to the side, he put a little bit of pressure with his thumb on her clit. Her eyes closed, she laid her head on Rylands shoulder. Ryland smiled at the two boys, they both looked away. Ryland played at her entrance with his middle finger, "Ryland just put it in already." Y/n whispered.
"Whatever you say." Ryland said.
He shoved his finger in her entrance. Her body jolted forward but she played it off as a cold chill. She moved her hand to his dick, he was already hard. She rubbed him through his sweats, "I'm gonna need you to do more than just that." Ryland spoke softly.
Y/n moved her hips wanting more. She put her hand in his sweatpants feeling his dick, she could feel the precum on his tip. Ryland's fingers sped up as she started to moved her hand up and down on him. She moved her hips up a little bit as he was hitting a certain spot that felt good. he hand worked faster on him, "Your hand feels so good, I wonder what that pretty little mouth of yours feels like." Ryland whispered in her ear.
She let out soft moans in his ear making him go even faster. She felt her high coming just then the plane started descending. The two kept going, Ryland closed his eyes as he came all over her hand and the blanket, "I'm almost there." Y/n let out.
Y/n felt her high wash over her. She burried her face into Ryland's chest as she did she let out a couple of moans loud enough for Ryland to hear. She kept moving her hand on Ryland as she didn't notice that he finished. He grabbed her hand making her stop, her hips moved up as she felt herself come. Ryland looked around and made sure no one was watching, he grabbed her face and placed a kiss on her lips.
He pulled his hand out of her sweats and Y/n grabbed his hand and placed the two fingers that were in her not even five seconds ago in her mouth. She sucked the juices off his finger, Ryland watched her as he felt himself get hard again.
The plane landed, and everyone started getting up and grabbing there things. Y/n grabbed her things as she was the last to be able to get her stuff. Ryland grabbed her from behind, "Just wait until I get you alone." He said while biting her ear.
