tbh i feel like she wants to be the token woman in motorsport so badly and now she feels threatened that she’s most likely going to lose that name now that so many talented young women are not allowing themselves to be looked over. it all boils down to the patriarchal internalized misogynistic ideal that there can only ever be one woman every man loves and respects (when in reality they don’t respect any). as much as i dislike her, i genuinely feel very bad for her because it seems like her self-esteem comes solely from male validation. i don’t think she realizes how much happier and more welcome she would be if she was surrounded by other women with a shared interest as her and that makes me very sad for her.
