Back home Anni and Mikael eat leftover mac and cheese Anni: "So? Did you see something you want for your birthday today?" Mikael: "Uh... not really... I guess just a videogame would be alright." Anni: "Whats wrong Mikael? You don't sound like you're excited for tomorrow."

Welcome back to the Patel Household, it's Mikaels Birthday this round and I'm very excited to see it!

[taigasims]

Later that day they pick up Nikolina along the way and then arrive at Lyndons Fine Dining

But that is it for the Patel Household! We'll see Mikaels first Semester near the end of this Rotation. The relationship between Anni and her daughter isn't like fully repaired but I'd say the first important step has been taken!

[taigasims]

And thus on Wednesday evening Mikael goes to college after saying his goodbyes

[taigasims]

Mikael: "Partying in Crystal Springs? We're talking about a teenie tiny town Mom." Anni: "That's why going to college would help. College Partys are amazing! I was at several of those before-" Mikael: "Okay Okay I get it, I'll go to college."

[taigasims]

Mikael: "But does getting a degree even help? I should probably search for a job when I'm an adult." Anni: "We're not that poor that we couldn't survive while you are at College or just at home, you're young Mikael. I'd be happy even if you decided to just party around."

[taigasims]

Mikael: "My whole class is talking about what they will do when the Watcher deems them important enough to grow up and it made me kind of nervous. I still have no idea or plan for my future..." Anni: "Hm, why not go to college then?"

[taigasims]

After that the twins are busy doing their thing which leaves Anni enough room to shop for herself too.

[taigasims]

Anni: "You are both old enough to walk around on your own, but just barely." Marina: *sigh* "Yeah so uh, I'll be over in the clothing shop then."

[taigasims]

Anni: "Well here we are, since you two are becoming adults soon, I thought we could hang out today and shop a bit and see what you two actually want for your birthday." Marina: "Please tell me we are allowed to walk around alone. I don't want to watch Mike look at videogames..."

[taigasims]

The next day Anni takes her kids out to this lot in Veronaville

Anni gave her daughter a hug, whispering "It's okay. Let it all out." Anni was proud of herself, all that talk about growth and moving on? She hadn't really believed herself that she had accomplished these things, but now she really sees how far she has come since the break up

[taigasims]

Marina looked sad at her mother, she couldn't really explain her feelings right now, she wanted to be angry at her mother, she had been a terrible one after all. But instead Marina choked and tears started to well up in her eyes

[taigasims]

Anni: "And so did Neel, he might not have a new partner, but he moved on in other ways. With his new career and such. And that is okay, living in the past just hinders you. But I know all of this has been hard on you and your brother. You were only kids back then."

[taigasims]

Anni: "He and I both changed, that love faided away. He left, and even though it hurt so much I learned to be okay with it. I grew and accepted it. And I decided to move on to a new chapter in my life you know?"
