Finished linework!

This was an exercise in breaking art block, so I looked at Meliora era artwork for inspiration, especially the artwork from the picture booklet in the Ceremony and Devotion vinyl, and then just drew random stuff with no real plan...

Not sure when I'll get round to colouring it but I quite like just the linework on its own for now!

I also feel the need to stress that Terzo does provably like people, even with everything that’s considered in the Deep Lore. It’d be one thing if he just pretended to be as charismatic and flamboyant as he does. But unless he’s like an extremely good and thorough actor, there’s no reason for him to go as far as to show concern for ritual attendees the way he does. He doesn’t have to acknowledge small children, let alone with the excitement or affection he does.

He doesn’t need to be as silly as he acts when he could just make simple quips but no, he’s also dancing around and making light jabs at himself and throwing in small stories like how he forgot lyrics upon being flashed and how he was giving it all he had but he still heard somebody cry out for Alpha.

But he does it because, at the end of the day, he still cares. His anger is nothing personal, and he’s a professional so he doesn’t let it take over the fact that at the end of the day, these people never hurt him — at least, no more than by just being people who gobbled up this persona he’s established. I could go on and on about the way his dislike of people is styled but honestly, I think the best summation is he’s fucking tired but the show must go on, he’d like to make sure these people get a show.

If he really and truly and fully hated people, he wouldn’t care. He cares a lot and he hates that, I think.
