You do seem to have the knack in employing charming, knowledgeable and talented people to represent you in these tours. The guide, like the one you provided in Barcelona, was a resounding success from the initial preparation to our meeting and tour. Paolo helped us select our hotel location, plan our “free time” and gave us so much information beforehand based on Laura’s preferences of looking at past present and future. He also helped us find the best choices for eating and drinking in the evening. His knowledge of not just the architecture but also the history and layout of Rome helped us to understand much more than if we had simply visited as tourists. He put a great deal of effort into the planning of our walks and we gained a great deal of insight as a result. Bottom line is that we wholeheartedly recommend Paolo as a representative of e-architect.

MACERATA – Un’occasione per riflettere sulla portata della scuola di Weimar, fondata nel 1919 da uno dei più grandi maestri del Movimento Moderno, Walter Gropius, , sia da un punto di vista storico sia progettuale. E’ il convegno “Bauhaus. Architettura come fine ultimo” organizzato dall’Ordine degli Architetti della Provincia di Macerata in collaborazione con il Comune di Macerata, in programma il 4 dicembre, a partire dalle 17, all’Auditorium della Biblioteca Comunale Mozzi Borgetti.
“La mostra Bauhaus 100 non finisce mai. A Macerata – afferma l’assessora alla Cultura Stefania Monteverde – è stata in questi mesi un vero cantiere culturale. Abbiamo ricreato in città quel clima culturale che fu della scuola del Bauhaus cento anni fa, fatto di incontri, esperienze, scambi di idee e conoscenze che ha coinvolto studenti, scuole, università professionisti, artisti, piccoli e grandi. Ecco a cosa servono le mostre, alla crescita della comunità. Grazie all’Ordine degli Architetti che ha compreso questo e contribuisce alla città della cultura.”
“Per noi molto è molto importante questa collaborazione tra Ordine degli Architetti – afferma il presidente Vittorio Lanciani – e Comune di Macerata per la realizzazione del convegno sul Bauhaus a 100 anni dalla sua fondazione. Un’iniziativa che coincide anche con la “Festa dell Architettura” che ogni anno organizziamo, con un convegno, in prossimità delle vacanze natalizie. Inoltre è fondamentale che si parli di architettura e di qualità della costruzione ed il Bauhaus è uno dei massimi esempi della storia dell‘Architettura in termini di qualità.”
“Il 1919 in ambito disciplinare è un anno importantissimo – interviene Michele Schiavoni -. Molti storici fanno coincidere a questo anno la nascita del Movimento Moderno in architettura _ interviene Michele Schiavoni responsabile della commissione Cultura dell’Ordine degli Architetti – . E questo è dovuto proprio alla nascita del Bauhaus in quell’anno, fondato da uno dei più grandi architetti del ‘900, Walter Gropius. Macerata è legata agli eventi del Bauhaus grazie alla figura di Ivo Pannaggi un artista eccezionale, studente nei primi anni ’30 alla scuola Weimar. Il 4 dicembre sarà occasione per riflettere su queste tematiche e su tante altre ancora, come ad esempio quanto del Bauhaus è rimasto oggi nel nostro essere architetti e non solo.”
La portata dei relatori quali, Marco Biraghi uno dei maggiori storici italiani di architettura, Valerio Paolo Mosco architetto e critico di architettura, Gianluca Peluffo dal 2018 visiting rofessor d’architecture presso l’ENAM, Ecole National d’Architecture de Marrakech insignito del titolo di “Benemerito della Scuola e della Cultura” dal Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e Franco Purini architetto, saggista e docente universitario, di prestigio internazionale, permetterà di coprire tutti gli aspetti affrontati dal Bauhaus nei suoi anni di attività, dalla grafica, al design, all’architettura, quest’ultima come sintesi di tutte le forme d’arte applicate, come dal titolo del convegno.
