Shri Venkateshwara University marked World Pharmacists Day with a seminar, an organ donation awareness rally, and a blood donation camp. 

Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut celebrated World Pharmacists Day by hosting a seminar on Pharmacists Meeting Global Health Needs.

In addition, they organized an organ donation awareness rally and a blood donation camp.

We organized an organ donation awareness rally to inform the masses about organ donation.

Besides this, we held a blood donation camp at VGI Campus. Students and faculty members willingly donated blood, resulting in a collection of 124 units.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, VC Dr Krishan Kant Dave & the District Hospital Chief Pharmacist Dr Pradeep Kumar inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Dr Nitin Singh, the Pharmacy Deans Dr Om Prakash Gosai & Dr Ashwini Saxena joined them to unveil the Pharmacists Meeting Global Health Needs seminar, organ donation rally & a blood donation camp.

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated, Pharmacists play a crucial role in fulfilling the changing global health & medical requirements of the world.

He said organ or body donation is the biggest donation because you not only give a new lease of life to the needy but by doing so one becomes immortal in life.

He praised all those who have donated their organ/body & appealed that all should come forward for organ/body donation.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi emphasized that rather than turning a dead body to ashes, we should do the noble cause of donating our organs to bring smiles on the faces of the needy & sick.

The VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave asserted the Pharmacists play a vital role in fulfilling global health needs.

The CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, VC Dr Krishna Kant Dave, Dean Dr Om Prakash Gosai & the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh also addressed the seminar.

Those present included the Academic Director Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr SN Sahu, Dr LS Rawat, Dr Divya Girdhar, Dr Ashwini Kumar Saxena, Dr Om Prakash, Dr Ramesh, Ashwini Gupta & Dr Shilpi Sharma.

Shri Venkateshwara University organized a seminar on organ donation to celebrate the World Pharmacist's day.

Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut organized a seminar on organ donation and a mega blood donation camp to celebrate the World Pharmacist's day.

To educate people about organ donation, we conducted an awareness rally on the campus.

The Pharmacy faculty members, staff, and students donated blood voluntarily. They collected 142 units of blood and pledged to save lives by donating blood.

DR VPS Arora, renowned Scientist & Chief Advisor to the Chairman, vowed to donate his organs after death. Dr VPS Arora, who was a colleague of former President Dr Abdul Kalam, has already pledged to donate his eyes after death.

The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Advisor DR VPS Arora, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The VC Dr Rakesh Yadav & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to inaugurate the organ donation seminar & the mega blood donation camp.

In his address, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated organ/body donation is the biggest donation in the world. By donating organs, you not only give a new lease of life to the recipient but also become immortal. He commended Dr VPS Arora’s pledge to donate his organ/body & exhorted the masses to come forward for such a noble cause.

The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi affirmed its better to donate organs after death so that the needy gets a reason to smile. There is no point wasting them after death.

Kiara Advani at Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2019 : Someone on Instagram (I think it was DietSabya) compared this Pankaj And Nidhi dress to post-it notes and now I'm having a hard time unseeing that. But even if one steps aside from that, I wouldn't consider it a particularly great dress. The color is great, but we have seen the sheer neckline-and-sleeves thing way too many times at this point that that detail only made made the design more generic.

Venkateshwara Group of Institutions held a poster making competition in celebration of World Environment Day. 

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Pharmacy department at the Venkateshwara Group of Institutions organized a poster making competition. 

The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi & the Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

The students of D Pharma & B Pharma took part in the poster making competition.

Mayank, Udit Singh, and Sagar won the first prize for their outstanding painting. While Ishar, & Mansi grabbed the second prize, followed by Tamanna & Sangam, who came third.

The College Management felicitated the winners for their excellent performance.
