can you do a lamine yamal where r and lamine have been secretly dating from the public because reader is also a spanish barca player but when lamine win euros it gets revealed because not only is reader happy for her country winning but is also happy for her boyfriend winning too 😭❤️
(it sounded cuter in my head)
Secrets on the Pitch (Lamine Yamal.)
Tumblr media
Summary: You never expected to fall for Lamine Yamal, another star player at FC Barcelona. Your romance blossomed in secrecy away from the media's eye. Both representing Spain, you shared hidden moments and cheered for each other's victories. When Spain won the European Championship, your tears of joy revealed your love to the world. Despite the newfound attention, your bond remained strong, proving that love and football can unite even in the spotlight.
AN: Thank you for requesting, Anon! Here youu gooo! I hope you like it and I hope I meet your story expectation 😊
I'm beyond proud of you, Lamine! Keep up the good work 💪
Tumblr media
You never expected to fall for Lamine. From the moment you met him at FC Barcelona's training grounds, there was an instant connection. He was charming, funny, and shared your passion for the sport. Little did anyone know, your relationship with Lamine bloomed in secret, away from the prying eyes of the media and fans.
As fellow FC Barcelona players, maintaining privacy was crucial. The public eye was relentless, always hungry for the next big story. But with Lamine, it was different. He understood the pressure, having faced it himself as a rising star in the Spanish football scene.
Months passed, filled with stolen moments, secret dates, and late-night conversations about goals, both on and off the field. You cherished the anonymity, the freedom to simply be together without the world scrutinizing every move.
Then came the European Championship. Lamine's talent shone brightly on the pitch, driving Spain towards victory. You, too, were competing, representing your country with pride. Each match brought tension and excitement, but deep down, you secretly cheered for Lamine as much as you did for your own team.
When the final whistle blew and Spain clinched the championship, the stadium erupted in cheers. Cameras panned across the crowd, capturing the joy and celebration. Amidst the sea of faces, yours stood out—a mixture of pride for your country and uncontainable happiness for your boyfriend.
It was in that moment that everything changed. The cameras zoomed in on you, capturing the raw emotion etched on your face—the tears of joy, the proud smile. The commentators speculated, the fans wondered, and soon, the news spread like wildfire.
Your relationship with Lamine was no longer a secret. The world knew, and surprisingly, the reception was overwhelmingly positive. Fans admired the love story unfolding between two football stars from FC Barcelona.
In the days that followed, interviews and media appearances became a part of your routine. But through it all, Lamine remained your rock, your confidant. Together, you navigated the newfound attention with grace, never letting it overshadow your love for each other or the game.
As you stood together, hand in hand, facing the cameras and the world, you couldn't help but smile. The journey from secrecy to celebration was unexpected, but you wouldn't change a thing. Because in the end, love and football had brought you closer, making your story one for the ages.

Design innovation of a sports venue
There are different interpretations when it comes to design innovation for a sporting venue because it can looked at as a different shape of the venue like an oval or a square shaped venue, or it can be interpreted as how the field is designed on the outside. (Kellison & Hong, 2015) stated “Sporting organisations adopting new ideas to design of a stadium it gives them an advantage over their competitors.” There are two stadiums that will be discussed that have used design innovation to make their stadium stand out more than their competitors.
Tumblr media
(Architectural Digest Reviews Mercedes-Benz Stadium, “One of the Most Beautifully Designed Stadiums on the Planet,” 2017)
The first stadium that will be discussed is the Mercedes-Benz stadium that was designed for the NFL team Atlanta Falcons. The first part of the design that stands out is the design from the outside which is designed like a Falcon to represent their team’s name so when people walk and drive past the stadium fans and spectators will remember it because it is shaped so unique. The CEO of the Atlanta Falcons said, “Each major design decision was based upon its impact on the fan experience.” The stadium has many factors that makes it an enjoyable experience for the home fans and also the away fans. The stadium offers fans, Technology lounge, View from downtown Atlanta, and 100-yard bar. The stadium is not just built for the Atlanta Falcons but also used for the Atlanta major league soccer franchise and has also been used for the College Football National Championship.

The second stadium that is going to be discussed for design Innovation is AAMI Park because it is such a unique stadium that gets used frequently and is different to the other stadiums that is designed compared to the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Marvel stadium. Lv, M., Cai, C., & Pan, J. (2021). Stated “In designing a sporting venue then it mostly needs to be used for multiple sport teams or events throughout the year.” AAMI park is used for four sporting teams between three different codes, Melbourne Storm (Rugby League), Melbourne Rebels (Rugby Union), and Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory (A-League).
Tumblr media
(AAMI Park, n.d.)
Cox Director Patrick Ness said, “This unique structure not only reflects an ideal seating bowl, but it also provides a new hybrid structural system of shell, arch and cantilever that has delivered a distinctive addition to Melbourne.” This became the first in Melbourne with a rectangular stadium and paying homage to sporting and entertainment aspect of Melbourne. The dome at AAMI Park is used as LED’s when an event is taking place and gives the fans a guide of where the ground is when the LED’s is displayed.

Euro 2021 format could be changed with countries intense on pulling out
The 2020 European Championship has already been pushed back a year due to coronavirus, but further alterations to the Euro 2021 tournament could still be made. Euro 2021 fans can book Italy Vs Wales Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Tumblr media
According to reports, the Pan-European format may be changed for the finals, which will now take place between June 11 and July 11, 2021. The Spanish and Italian Football Associations have doubts over hosting matches, with Bilbao and Rome selected as two of the host cities for the Euro 2021 tournament.
Their doubts are related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the financial fallout expected once the crisis subsides. Spain and Italy are the two worst affected European countries by COVID-19.
Other stadiums across the continent are facing issues relating to the postponement of the finals for a year. With these arenas already having lucrative music events booked for June and July 2021. Euro 2021 fans can book Italy Euro Cup Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Tumblr media
Scotland’s Hampden Park, the Aviva Stadium in Ireland and the Amsterdam Arena are all understood to be in this predicament, as well as Wembley with the FA already canceling some summer gigs at the national stadium to ensure they can host Euro 2021 matches.
England’s FA remains committed to hosting European Championship matches despite the doubts from elsewhere across the continent, with Wembley to host six matches including the two semi-finals and the final.
As a result of these numerous issues, the number of host cities may be reduced for the finals something UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin is open to considering he has never been keen on the Pan-European format, which was developed by his predecessor Michel Platini.
We are offering Euro Cup Tickets so Football fans can get Euro 2021 Tickets through our trusted online ticketing market place. SportTicketExchange.com is the most reliable source to book Euro Cup 2021 tickets.

【IEARN BOT】 2022 Qatar World Cup Group E Qualifying Analysis and Prediction
The countries in Group E are Spain, Costa Rica Germany and Japan. We will analyze the strength of each country's teams one by one, so as to obtain key information and draw qualifying predictions.
Spain:
The 2008 European Cup champion the 2010 South African World Cup champion and the 2012 European Cup champion. At that time the “Matador Legion” had outstanding pass-control football but with the retirement of Xavi “Little White” Iniesta went to the Japanese league to pan for gold at the end of his career and Spain began a long road to reconstruction.Recently the state has picked up slightly. The last European Cup reached the final four. Coach Enrique activated a large number of young players. Whether young players such as Pedri and Ferran Torres can shine in the World Cup still needs to be a question mark.Spain has delicate skills underfoot strong wingers and second centers and a strong ability to create opportunities but it lacks a powerful striker who can make the final word so it is afraid of the form of “only blooming and not bearing fruit”.
Tumblr media
Germany:
The 2018 World Cup in Russia as the defending champion, was naturally one of the favorites to win the championship but in the end the group did not qualify. For the first time since participating in the World Cup for the first time in 1934 it lost to South Korea 0-2 and was eliminated in shame in the group stage. After Ram retired the defense lacked a leader the center Werner was not up to Klose's level and there was no super substitute like Getze in the 2014 World Cup. What do you use to compete with the heroes?
Fans have high expectations for Flick who has a brilliant coaching resume.Flick once served as Loew's assistant coach and is very familiar with the national team. After he took office the German team showed its former glory and it was destroyed in the world preliminaries to lock in the promotion places in advance. In 2022 Germany hopes to erase the shame of the last World Cup.But will this German team really be stronger than Loew's team in 2018?I'm afraid Frick himself has no confidence. In the UEFA Nations League in June, Germany only won one game in the first four rounds and there was no way to take Hungary. This was not the performance that a top team should have.
The problem with this German team is the same as that of Spain. It is that the center position is not strong enough. As for who is better than who it is estimated that it is comparable.
Tumblr media
Japan team:
There is no shortage of players from the five major leagues such as Mallorca's Kenying Kubo Arsenal's Kenyang Fuan and Liverpool's Takumi Minamino. In the top 12 stage of the world preliminaries Japan was slow to enter the state at first and Mori Baoichi was also under great pressure.Fortunately Japan quickly adjusted its status and won Australia away to advance to the World Cup.
The Japanese team is afraid of a team that is physically one level stronger than itself and the second is afraid of a team that is better than itself.Unfortunately there happen to be two such teams in this group-Germany and Spain. The problem with the Japanese team is also that the front is weak.
So this group is very interesting. Three teams with sharp swords but weak swords are gathered together. If Japan wants to qualify it must fight one of Germany and Spain. The difficulty can be imagined but the Japanese themselves seem to be very confident. They are divided into Germany and Spain. The goal is still the quarterfinals. Of course football is round. You can beat Germany 2-0 last time in South Korea. Why can't I in Japan?
Tumblr media
Costa Rica:
Although Costa Rica recognized as the weakest in the group reached the World Cup they were overwhelmed by Canada Mexico and the United States in the qualifiers and narrowly defeated New Zealand in the play-off. The strength of the team can no longer be compared with 2014 but it should be noted that that year Costa Rica drew England defeated Italy and Uruguay to qualify, and also reached the penalty shoot-out in the quarter-finals against the Netherlands. This team that is good at creating miracles may not be easy to deal with. It may not be too easy for Japan to take all three points from Costa Rica.
Tumblr media
So for the two countries that can stand out in the group stage this time the first should be Spain and the second is Germany, but there is a precedent of South Korea 0-2 Germany. Maybe this time it may also be surprised by Japan. All analysis is only predictions and does not represent the actual results. In your mind, who should be the country that qualified for Group E?If you want to know which country in Group E has a higher approval rating, you can download the IEARN BOT to view the approval rating ranking.

EPL Preview 2022: Nottingham Forest
Tumblr media
Last Year's Finish: 4th (in Championship)
Predicted Finish: 17th
Odds To Win EPL: 1,000-1 via OddsChecker
Prospects:
The owners have big ambitions, especially after shelling out heftily on players over the summer, but the reality is that the Premier League is a huge jump for any club, regardless of investment levels. Evangelos Marinakis spoke of going for trophies after securing promotion but the club will, ultimately, be happy if they finish 17th.
They certainly have the players to go a few places higher but it could take a little while for the team to gel into a unit considering the overturn in the roster. They lost a number of the promotion squad including the popular goalkeeper Brice Samba, who was allowed to leave and replaced by Dean Henderson, while club captain Lewis Grabban decided against signing a new contract.
Recruitment has made a point of giving Steve Cooper the resources he need to make his team competitive in a division that is new to the majority of his players. Jesse Lingard was signed to make a statement and add experience, but its still Jesse Lingard, so thats not saying much. Overall, it's a young side, which should help with fearlessness at the top level but might mean they lack the experience required to get through the tough moments. How will they react if they go on a poor run, not something they experienced under Cooper last season.? Regardless, they will look to be aggressive and press constantly to make sure no one, regardless of stature, takes points off them easily over the course of the campaign.
Transfer Coup:
It has been another smart summer in the transfer market for Forest. The Bundesliga has been a key target for the club where they know they can get value for money. They broke their transfer record to make Taiwo Awoniyi their first arrival of the summer for £17.5m from Union Berlin. The Nigeria international began his career with Liverpool but spent his time there out on loan before moving to Union last summer. At Union, he was a gem, scoring 15 goals to help his team to fifth in the table and European football. Having proven himself, he decided to give it up for a shot at the Premier League, but was it a flash in the pan or a sign of things to come?
The Manager:
When things were going incredibly wrong at the start of last season under Chris Hughton, chief executive Dane Murphy quickly earmarked Cooper as the man to improve Forest. Few could have anticipated going from one point in seven matches to beating Huddersfield in the playoff final but that was the effect the former Swansea head coach had on the team. Within the club, the main thing Cooper brought to the squad was “belief”. The team became more aggressive under his stewardship and was finally turned into a cohesive unit. He turned Brennan Johnson from a forward on the periphery of the team to their most-lauded asset in the space of a couple of months. He knows what he is doing with young players thanks to a background working in academies and with England youth teams and will relish his first season as a Premier League manager. Is it too far a leap though? Fearlessness will go a long way in helping them stay up.
Outcome:
17th. They'll survive, and maybe they'll even shock some of the established old-guard if they get overlooked, (I'm looking at you, Man Utd), but don't expect some shock rise up the table. The team is too young and the jump is too steep for a majority of the roster who has not seen top-flight football. Give them 2-3 years? They'll be mid-table.

Semi finals blog - Part 1
England have reached the final of a major tournament for the first time in 55 years after defeating Denmark 2-1 at Wembley in front of over 60,000 supporters! The last time England reached a final was in 1966 and that was when Sir Geoff Hurst scored a hattrick at Wembley to win the World Cup for the Three Lions. This is a monumental achievement and will go down in history. Gareth Southgate has done a terrific job with his highly talented and skilful squad of players. England finished top of Group D after beating Croatia and the Czech Republic as well as avoiding defeat against bitter rivals Scotland. They have been very good in the knockout stages, defeating Germany with aplomb and absolutely destroyed Ukraine in Rome. To finally get over the semi final stage shows improvement in the England team. It shows progress and has made a nation of people believe again. It has restored national pride and it has made a lot of people fall back in love with international football. More importantly, it shows that the players and the manager have bottle. They have learned their lessons from the harsh experience of defeat from the 2018 Russia World Cup when Croatia scored the winner in extra time. This semi final also went to extra time but England were by far the better team and deserved to win the match. Denmark looked tired and out of ideas. They struggled to respond to the barrage of attacks coming from England’s players.
The boy from Brent, Raheem Sterling, won a penalty which Harry Kane took. Kasper Schmeichel, who was absolutely terrific and my man of the match, saved the penalty but Kane was able to get to the rebound and put it into the back of the net subsequently. This would be the winning goal of the match. The goal that would send England through to the final of Euro 2020. Thankfully, England were able to hold on to the lead and saw the game out. The post match scenes were lovely to see. The players were applauding the supporters and were singing along to Sweet Caroline. The atmosphere was fantastic. The mood was good and people were clearly in very high spirits. If England win the final against Italy on Sunday then there will be total pandemonium and jubilation. There is no doubt about that.  I must congratulate Denmark for getting so far in the competition. They have been terrific and all the players get my respect and admiration. They were able to overcome the odds, especially after losing their talisman, Christian Eriksen , from the first game. Thankfully he is recovering and is currently in good health. After losing their opening two matches, Denmark won three games in a row and gave England a really good game. Every single one of them are heroes and the country should be very proud of how far the team have come.
It can be argued that the penalty awarded to England was soft however, when you watch the replay of the foul, there is contact between Joachim Maele’s leg and Raheem Sterling. Sterling was travelling at such a high speed that even minimal contact would have been enough to have caused him to fall over. Sterling did what most players would have done. If you had the chance to win your team a penalty during extra time to go one goal ahead you would go down in the box if there was contact. England deserved a penalty anyway because earlier on in the game, Harry Kane was fouled in the box but the referee gave Denmark a freekick instead. You can even argue that the Denmark freekick in the first half should not have been given because there wasn’t a foul on Vestegaard. Swings and roundabouts. Sometimes in football you need a decision to go your way. You need a bit of good luck to get over the line and go all the way. I’m not saying England were completely lucky to go through. They deserved to get to the final and are in there on merit. Denmark did not have the same level of intensity as England and Southgate’s men were slowly wearing the opposition out. England have good players in all areas of the pitch therefore they can push teams to the limit and make them suffer which is what happened. Denmark were on the ropes for a while and were hanging on for dear life.
Denmark took the lead in the first half thanks to an excellent freekick from Mikkel Damsgaard. The youngster from Sampdoria scored the first goal of the match and scored the one and only goal against England in the entire tournament so far. Jordan Pickford perhaps could have done better and possible could have changed his positioning  slightly so that he would have been able to save the freekick. He looked a little shaky but he will be glad that his defence put in a solid performance. Harry Maguire was magnificent. He has been terrific in this European Championship. He won 8 aerial duels and always tried to drive forward to start attacks. As a Man Utd fan, this is a delight to see and although I criticised him a lot in 2020, I can’t praise him enough now. Luke Shaw was tremendous as per usual. Don’t really need to say anymore about him. Rice and Phillips did well in the midfield. Mount looked lively. Saka was really good. At 19 years of age, it has become very apparent how talented he is. He has put in some very mature performances during this tournament. It is no surprise that Gareth trusts him and gives him a start in such a huge game. Raheem Sterling was once again a threat and was making lots of direct runs into the opposition half. He is an excellent player and he should be the player of the tournament for England because he has been fantastic. His contribution has been massive.  After Denmark scored and made the score 1-0, England responded. They did not panic or capitulate or make silly errors which was very reassuring to see. England only increased the intensity with which they attacked. Sterling made a darting run into the box and shot but Schmeichel made a great close range save. England were not done though. Kane made a wonderful pass to Bukayo Saka that cut through the Danish defence. Saka saw Sterling and made an accurate cross. The Danish centre back Simon Kaer had no choice but to try and clear the cross but in the event of doing it put the ball into his own net and scored an own goal. The scores were level. 1-1. Game on.
England continued to attack in the second half. Out of the two teams they looked more like scoring. Denmark did create chances although they did not trouble the England backline or Pickford that much. Dolberg made some good shots but it was nothing too serious or worrying. England kept attacking and Harry Maguire almost scored from a header. He has been very dangerous with his headers. He scored a really good headed goal against Ukraine in the QFs. The score was level at 1-1 at normal time. It had been a pulsating 90 minutes of football.
England had the momentum during extra time. After the penalty and the goal from Kane, Southgate went to a back five, substituting off Jack Grealish for Kieran Trippier. It paid off and England finished the game 2-1 as winners. Into the final.
England will play Italy on Sunday in the Euro 2020 final under the famous golden Wembley arches. It is going to be a difficult game. It will be very fascinating to see the tactical battle being played out. How Kane and Sterling try to find ways through the mostly impenetrable defence especially with the experience of Bonucci and Chiellini there. The Italians love defending but this side can also attack and score goals. Lorenzo Insigne is very good and Frederico Chiesa is superb when he goes forward as he is very direct and his shooting is impressive. He has scored two huge goals for Italy in the knockout stages of this tournament. He is a player that Kyle Walker will need to keep quiet. Italy’s midfield three of Marco Verratti, Jorginho and Nicolo Barella is very strong. They are all very technically gifted players therefore they are good at transitioning the play from defence to attack. The midfield battle will be an interesting one. England have Mason Mount who can make good through balls and passes into the final third. Kalvin Phillips is a master at interceptions. Declan Rice’s distribution is very precise most of the time. We shall see how things pan out. England can win but Gareth Southgate needs to get his tactics right and do everything he can to nullify the Italian players. Mancini is a good manager therefore if he needs to change the formation, structure or his tactical approach, he will do so. Italy have tremendous squad depth like England. Locatelli, who was excellent in the group stages can come on, Berardi is quite dangerous on the right wing and Torino forward, Belotti is good at holding up the ball. England have flair players that are creative and will be to create chances and unlock defences. Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish can come off the bench. The youngester, Bellingham can provide some much needed pressing and aggressive play with his youthful energy and enthusiasm. Jordan Henderson can come in to stabilise the midfield as he brings a lot of experience plus has a winning mentality because he has won major trophies with Liverpool and will add composure to England’s midfield which  will help them to dominate the game in the middle of the park.  Italy have not lost a game since 2018 but every long winning streak must come to an end. It’s time for England to get some glory. It’s time to end all the painful memories and bring football home. It’s up to you England. It’s up to you Southgate. You know what you need to do. You know what’s at stake. This is the chance to create history. Let’ s do it. Let’s win the final. Make the nation proud. It’s coming home.

Czech Republic v Denmark: How does Czech star Schick compare to other Euros hotshots?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Czech players know a thing or two about unforgettable Euros goals. In 1976, Czechoslovakia became European Champions after Antonin Panenka unveiled his audacious dinked penalty – imitations of which still bear his name to this day. Karel Poborsky’s sensational scoop sunk Portugal as the Czech Republic charted an unlikely course to the final of Euro 96. Such heroics secured Poborsky a dream move to Manchester United and a handful of Premier League clubs have reportedly had their attention piqued by Patrik Schick’s exploits at Euro 2020. Schick’s sensational goal from halfway, part of a brace in the 2-0 win over Scotland at Hampden Park, will remain one of this tournament’s enduring moments, but it was no flash in the pan. The Bayer Leverkusen striker slotted home to seal an assured last-16 win over the 10-man Netherlands, moving on to four for the competition. With Cristiano Ronaldo (five), Emil Forsberg, Karim Benzema and Romelu Lukaku (all four) having packed their bags, Schick has a chance to further boost his Golden Boot prospects in Saturday’s Baku quarter-final against Denmark. It would see him emulate another of his country’s footballing heroes, the Euro 2004 top scorer Milan Baros, and burnish a reputation that has taken a battering over recent years. From Samp star to Roman ruin In 2017, Schick was on the brink of the sort of dream move Poborsky secured two decades earlier. A stunning breakout season at Sampdoria in 2016-17, where he scored 13 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions – only 15 of which were starts – captured the attention of Juventus. The clubs agreed a fee in the region of €25million and Schick was even pictured on Juve’s website in club training kit for a medical, but that was where the problems started. Juventus pulled out of the deal, amid speculation that tests had uncovered cardiac problems. This was dismissed as “a farce” by Sampdoria owner Massimo Ferrero and, after Roma stepped in to take Schick off their hands, further examinations gave the forward the all-clear. However, Juve’s loss did not become Roma’s gain as Schick failed to reproduce his Sampdoria form. “Do I wonder what might have been? No, I’ve already closed it out,” he told Czech newspaper Lidovky in June 2018, but his output on the field in his debut season at the Stadio Olimpico told a different story. Schick scored just three goals in all competitions as he struggled to dislodge first-choice striker Edin Dzeko and was often shunted out to the right wing. His shot conversion rate plummeted from 28.9 per cent at Samp during the previous campaign to 8.1 in 2017-18. A similarly fallow 2018-19 followed (five goals in 32 appearances) and Schick needed a fresh start. Rebuilding in the Bundesliga RB Leipzig took Schick on a season-long loan and across all competitions in 2019-20, as the Bundesliga club reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, he scored 10 times in 28 appearances (18 starts). It was a solid if unspectacular return, but a huge step in the right direction and one that meant Roma were able to make their money back as Schick joined Bayer Leverkusen on a five-year deal ahead of last season. His rehabilitation continued impressively at the BayArena, hitting 13 goals for the first time since he came to prominence at Sampdoria four seasons earlier. According to Opta, Schick’s big chance conversion rate was up to 40.9 per cent, having dwindled at 33.3 in his post-Samp years. A total of 32 chances created for team-mates was his best in the top-five leagues. It laid the foundation for a stunning Euro 2020 so far, where the variety of Schick’s goals has caught the eye. His showstopper against Scotland was preceded by a fine, towering header. He kept his nerve from the penalty spot against Croatia before coolly converting after Tomas Holes’ run scattered a tiring Netherlands. Going for gold This body of work leaves Schick in contention for his own piece of history. He is one shy of Baros’ five-goal haul, which included a quarter-final brace against Denmark that he would dearly love to emulate. Indeed, in Euros 80, 92, and 2012, Schick’s haul would already have been enough to take home the Golden Boot, with the joint-top scorers in each of those tournaments scoring three apiece. He and everyone else at Euro 2020 remains some way short of Michel Platini’s nine goals as France tasted glory on home soil in 1984 – a feat made all the more remarkable by the fact the championship was only a five-game tournament back then. A more realistic target for Schick and this year’s frontrunners is Antoine Griezmann, who scored six in seven matches as France plotted a path to the final of Euro 2016, the first time the present 24-team format was used. Schick averages 1.1 goals per 90 minutes after spending 326 minutes on the field in total. This marks a slightly better frequency than Griezmann (0.97) four years ago. Indeed, only Marco van Basten (1.16 – five goals in 389 minutes at Euro 88), Baros (1.17) and Platini (1.69) have a better scoring rate. If we dismiss Platini as something of a freakish outlier, Schick is on Golden Boot form. A challenge at this business end of the competition for those not playing in teams likely to dominate the action is how many shots their main goal threats are able to get away. Schick averages 3.59 shots per 90 minutes (13 overall), remarkably similar to Baros’ 3.52 (15 shots) in 2004. By comparison, Platini (4.88) and Griezmann (4.55) were able to fire off goal attempts with far greater frequency. Ronaldo had 37 shots for three goals (6.94) during Portugal’s 2012 campaign, while David Villa – in a Spain team hardly noted for indiscriminately peppering the opposition goal – averaged 4.57 per 90 en route to glory at Euro 2012. Such a volume of opportunities are unlikely to fall Schick’s way on Saturday. But whether they come aerially, in the penalty area or from distance, a player in prime form at the perfect time after a long road back to his best looks ready to capitalise. Read the full article

4, 13, 16?
4. favourite dish specific for your country?
arroz com cabidela which is basically chicken and rice, with chicken’s blood cooked. it sounds gross but it is really good.
13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?
i don’t think so? i don’t know but in small towns, people hit the pans in the new year, probably because poor people didn’t have money for fireworks. i still do it with my parents everytime i spend new year’s eve with them but it’s not common in the city.
16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?
first of all, brazil and portugal are not the same, the way we speak is not the same. just like uk, usa, australia and all countries that have english as their first language are not the same, we are no exception.
second, portugal is not only about football, cristiana ronaldo is not the only famous person around here and he does NOT represent us all. we are more than just football alright.
but then again, our country does stop during european and world wide championships……. which doesn’t happen with any other sport.
i’m not from usa meme | status: accepting | @turnedsoftness

True Keto Boost Men The Nicaragua national football team (Spanish: Selección de fútbol de Nicaragua) is the national workforce of Nicaragua and is controlled by the Nicaraguan Soccer Federation. Do you know- By October 1975,the Republic of Honduras sent a workforce of 14 athletes, led by its younger athlete Santiago Fonseca, to the United Mexican States, home to the VII Pan American Video games. The teams in each group play one another, with the highest two teams from every group continuing to the final 16 knockout phase to determine the finalists. Following a European Championship where they had been heaped with praise for his or her attractive attacking football the spirits of the Netherlands staff needs to be high, despite a totally new look to the squad. Sixty-seven years later, the Central American nation once once more hosted the Caribbean Games, the place the local workforce finished in seventh in the medal depend, with 123 medals (18 gold, 39 silver, sixty six bronze). Six regulars are not available to Erik Hamren, forcing the manager to check the depth of his reserves against England
Autumn in Reykjavik is far removed from midsummer in Nice. On that sweltering evening in June 2016 the clock had passed 11pm when Iceland’s players, coursing with adrenaline after completing one of the most famous victories in European Championship history, performed the “thunderclap” with their disbelieving mass of supporters in the south-east corner of Allianz Riviera.
It was, whatever your persuasion, a stunning thing to witness and at that point it would have taken a brave onlooker to place a ceiling on the underdogs’ potential. Iceland did fall at the next hurdle, against France, but they went on to reach the 2018 World Cup and dispelled any idea that they were a flash in the pan. Now the task is to extend their longevity at the top through a period of generational change and that is why the rematch with England on Saturday, while unlikely to hit the dramatic heights of four years ago, holds particular significance for Erik Hamren and his side.
