#Palette (Glamrock Dragons)

Did one to two sentence drabbles that I felt would be interesting to make of the Glamrock Dragons world and how the characters feel about things. These I did while timing myself on how fast I could make them in a minute without screwing up.

Many fears would worm their way into Fret’s mind – old scars of a past that he was sure he could never recover – with the biggest being becoming close to anyone that was ‘different’. That was ‘other’. Fret wasn’t too sure on how to feel on a lot of people in Canada, but Fret felt that many people often gave him a wide berth regardless of how he felt about companionship.

It gave Fret the belief that he was untouchable, not by living as a person would.

… So why did he feel a strong ache, one that would try to sully and hurt him?

Children without their mothers needed to be taken, Hemmo’s mother had once said to her. Yet, Palette could not trust the gleam in that woman’s eyes at all.

Fire stoked in her heart, Lanna desperately wanted to hurt the one who broke Fret.

Not if Fret wanted to break him, first. And horrifically, too.

An iron grip permeated throughout the system, choking it out of any individuality. With how much they took, that grip will lax soon.

Everything burned with distrust and malice written all over it. Everything eventually burned with Trigger’s hatred of it.

Agraffe was someone to not take lightly while fighting. She still could knock you down with a solid one-two punch regardless of her position in the company.

A Farokan Family portrait is on it's way, with Palette and Valv looking almost... peaceful, in a way.

For the past little while, I had drawn my Glamrock Dragons OCs to figure out a couple of things about them:

1) Fret's long ass Yoshi suction tongue isn't scrapped, and like Agraffe and Trigger, he does use it at times as a fourth appendage. It just doesn't come out as often as the thief's does, but it still comes out a lot more than his sister's. One of those times is when he's extremely horny, or is often considering Lanna decked out in all the gems and jewels he's accumulated over the years.

2) Chase I've always envisioned to be the Tails to Fret's Sonic, from the way the two are characterized right down to the way they move. Since Chase doesn't have two tails like Tails himself does, I figured that the guy makes himself a propeller backpack that allows him to do something similar. Of course, as with all things, this is a first pass at the idea, and I may change it up over time.

3) It's Palette! The Glamrock Triplet's birth mother and a key component of the Grawoul arc (as I've taken to calling the next game after Glamrock Dragons' first). She might be a work in progress, but I wanted to emphasize her more muted aura in comparison to her children.

4) Prince Hemmo with the rarity of his coat being closed. I wanted to emphasize more on his silhouette inside his Soma-style coat over anything else since it's been a while since I drew the guy in it. Yes, that's blood he's drinking.

Palette is very demure and quiet, unable to ask even the cashier at a burger joint if she can trade in for a new burger. However, she's highly protective of the kids she watched grow up through reports and entering their minds, to the point she sheds her passive personality completely if they're threatened once.

Valv, on the other hand, is what you'd expect a dragon like him to be - arrogant, territorial, and overall quite feisty with anyone who dares disses his Queenly wife and his kids. He's also a total doofus towards his kids, which makes them not realize how intelligent he is in truth. He's also quite renowned with the people, while people scoff at Queen Palette's more quiet personality.

I didn't bother giving Palette her wings due to not having enough space on the paper (Which is kind of why Valv's got an awkward contortion going on and is behind his hair), so just pretend that she's hidden hers away with Illusion Breath or smth.

Anyways, Valv and Palette fully done! Because of Palette's trauma, she's not as flashy as her husband and children are, but that doesn't mean she's not capable of looking like a glam rock star wherever she goes! She's usually the one with the flowy dresses out of the five - her little dress here is what she's comfy with to wear outside of delegations.

You guys have three guesses as to why Valv doesn't have a shirt for his outfit. No, the first two don't count. Yes, the children do, in fact, base their clothing choices off their father.
