Do you know that Patiala Shahi Turban was first tied by Patiala's king Bhupinder Singh thus this style became known after him as the "Patiala Shahi"? A 5 layer Patiala Shahi Pagg takes 5.5 meters' cloth and 6 layers Pagg takes 7 meters cloth. This Pagg is stitched from the centre. in this style of Pagg, about a meter Patka is first turned into a triangle tied to manage the hair first- then a fifty is tied about 2 to 2.5 fingers high from the brow and finally, a regal looking turban is tied.
