Celtics/Akechi: Driven by an inhuman amount of spite and need to prove themselves when talent alone is more than enough to do the job. Just an insane amount of homophobic slurs

Nets/Labrys: She has a Brooklyn accent. Don’t overthink it.

Knicks/Ryoji: Say the name of the team out loud. You get it.

76ers/Maruki: “The Process” really was just mass brainwashing if you think about it

Raptors/Kamoshida: No hate to the Raptors organization but they really need to eat crow for letting Drake hitch his wagon to the franchise

Hawks/Ruferu: I don’t know shit about P5X but look at the birdy! Trae Young is also small and annoying,

Hornets/Eikichi: I thought the colors matched. I have never played a Persona game.

Magic/Elizabeth: She thinks the team name is literal. Are you going to tell her otherwise?

Heat/Akihiko: You just know he would be really fucking annoying about “Heat Culture”

Wizards/Yusuke: The hat has cherry blossoms on it and that was enough to shape his rooting interests. I’m enjoying giving him hilariously inept franchises.

Bulls/Erina: Nostalgia is all we have left.

Cavaliers/Haru: Haru is extremely rich and speaks exclusively in Comic Sans, just like Dan Gilbert

Pistons/Junpei: Found out about the “Bad Boy” days and was hooked, only to find out he was born a couple years after that era ended.

Pacers/Ken: Young and surprisingly potent on offense, just needs a few years to toughen up a bit

I know squid game is about the evils of capitalism and all that jazz but I can't help but think if there was a US version, which American childhood games would they choose and how would they adapt it to make it terrifying and deadly?

There's cops and robbers. I guess you could have the cops going after the robbers but instead the cop team gets to beat up the robbers.

Hopscotch but if you miss a spot, one of the pink guard snippers shoots you from a hidden spot.

Floor is lava where it's played on a rotating platform with obstacles that move or get increasingly difficult to navigate (like parkour?) and if you fall off, you fall into a pit of fire? (Since where tf would anyone get actual lava?) Or something equally as harmful.

We do have red light green light here too so I suppose that wouldn't change.

Hide and seek? You get caught by another player, you get shot by one of the guards

Fitness Gram pacer test (not a childhood playground game but it is the bane of every American school aged child's existence lol). If you slow down or stumble you'll get shot.

We do have something similar to that gongi game called jacks. Though it's one small rubber ball (or marble) played with a handful of these shapes that look like an x.

There's also Hackey sack, again similar to the game they played in... I wanna say episode 4? Except if I remember correctly, hackey sack is played in a group.

Horse shoe as well.

MFN/Transformers: Reader

I noticed my post yesterday is blowing up up why not go further into the concept? Like I said before, THERE ARE NO SPOILERS. Anything I mention from the game is info established from the demo, trailers, steam page and synopsis.

Let's get started, shall we?

Reader is going to be gender neutral or preferred gender. They're very close to Optimus Prime but you won't be seeing any romance in the main story. If I do a pairing then it'll be in a side story. There will be lighthearted teasing for both Reader and Optimus but everything remains platonic.

You can't tell me none of Prime's fellow bots tease him about a possible interest. Especially when his sporadic visits begin to seem suspicious. As for Reader, blame Ricky. I don't think something like a possible crush or love is gonna escape his radar. Luckily the sock puppet has some tact to keep the more childlike puppets from hearing.

Now for the actual post itself:

Reader is like Mary Poppins. They have a mysterious magical connection with My Friendly Neighborhood. Any magic is imaginative and harmless to those around them. Optimus wants to explore the place? He just has to close his optics and let Reader hold his servo. When he opens them, the Autobot is now human sized.

It's much more stronger in the Neighborhood as they can subtly alter reality around them to suit their needs. The further Reader is from the place though, the weaker it will be. Weakest being only able to conjure letters for ammo. Imagination, childlike whimsy and positive emotions does help restore their magical power.

Like Mary Poppins, Reader is a kindhearted individual. Willing to help others with their problems or give them a hug if need be. Reader does have all the weapons from the game but only for protection outside the Neighborhood.

Getting clocked with metal alphabet letters at a high speed are more painful to someone not made out of cloth and felt. One good headshot is enough to induce unconscious for a human. Letter to an optic will definitely break it.

They rather not expose the puppets to any violence if possible. Should everyone need to hide then there are spots Reader made specifically for evacuation purposes. Trust me when I say they have all sorts of non-lethal ways to handle dangerous intruders. Once the aggressors are knocked out, Reader wipes their memories involving the Neighborhood, destroy the evidence, then dump the blokes far away from the place.

They also carry an umbrella to travel around since the magic needed isn't too much. Reader sometimes carry a small 'birdhouse' for Ricky to emerge from. Optimus is later given one too when he contemplates telling the truth to his companions.

For Bayverse, Knightverse and Prime, Reader allows Team Prime asylum near the Neighborhood until they have a safer place to stay. You can bet bots like Ironhide or Jazz are scolded multiple times for nearly breaking the bad language rule. No one wants Junebug to run around spreading a swear she overheard to the other puppets.

Reader is practically the 'mom friend' of the group once the secret's out. Absolutely dolting on the bots and their human companions.

'Ironhide, have you consume any Energon today? If not then go refuel.'

'Hey Bumblebee! Raf is waiting in the backyard for you with Norman and Junebug. Take a break and go play some games.'

'There you are, Mirage! Everyone is worried. Want to talk buddy?'

Overall, Reader is going to be a whimsical delight amongst the cast.

*If anyone is wondering about canon deaths like Jazz. Reader can revive them if they're brought to the Neighborhood. It does take a massive strain on them but the more intact the body is, the smaller the cost. The three main components of a Cybertronian have to be in good condition or repaired. Substitutes for those work fine as long as it matches the individual's nature. EX. Ratchet: Medical Equipment like a heart pacer for Spark Chamber. Jazz: Performance items such as a boombox.

If push comes to shove, Reader can store their soul inside a puppet but they can't leave the Neighborhood. They need to be in their actual body as these are temporary vessels that need constant magic to survive. Let me paint the image of a puppet Breakdown and Knockout staring at each other. Also they will scold Prime Optimus if he pulls that endgame stunt.*

I've never done a match up before, but why not?

My pronouns are she/her and I'm aroace but I'm cool with this being platonic or romantic. I don't really have a character I'd say no to so go nuts 😂

My main trait is kindness tbh and I'm often pretty shy at first, but I'm very silly and passionate about the things I like! I get pretty talkative once you get to know me but I'm also more than happy to listen! One of my favorite things to do is listen to people talk about their interests. I have a lot of opinions on the things I like (especially Sherlock Holmes adaptations) and so I really enjoy hearing people be equally passionate about what they enjoy no matter what it is

My main hobbies are sewing and DnD but I also like podcasts, reading, and playing the clarinet! I'm pretty affectionate in most ways when I know what people are okay with but my go tos are pet names (usually hun, dear, or darling), hugs/cuddling (if allowed), and making people things (usually baked goods or plushies I sew)

My sense of humor is mostly pun based, but I do have a dark humor streak if I'm comfortable enough and know the other person is okay with it. I don't often make risque jokes, but sometimes they just slip out before I realize it 😅

My favorite genres are jazz and rock, but I'm more passionate about jazz because I used to play it for a while in band! I'll listen to most things, but I like fast paced songs or crooners most of all

Niffty!

Niffty doesn’t go out much. She sort of stays wherever Alastor needs her but it was on a run to get more cleaning supplies that she met you.

Then another cleaning supply run she saw you again and then she just sort of started talking to you and she didn’t stop.

You listened to her! You actually listened to her ramble so neither of you really ever decided to become friends you just were friends from the moment she opened her mouth.

During Alastor’s seven year absence is when she saw you the most.

You made the mistake of introducing her to DnD. I can’t even begin to imagine the chaotic neutral things she’d get you into.

The first time she DMed a game she fucking terrorized the players. Half in a “what the actual fuck?!” and half in a “oh, that’s so fucked up!” (why didn’t I think of that?) way.

She’s actually a very good story teller though and you get to listen to her stories all the time.

Of course, she listens to you as well. She makes comments that are actually very insightful sometimes. She’s a good person to listen and talk to.

The two of you will read together while listening to music. Reading with Niffty is no calm task, however.

She strikes me as a pacer as she reads. I also feel like she’d do this thing where she sort of flaps the books up and down as she’s reading, doesn’t even realize she’s doing it.

Of course, she gives you tips of the best needles to use in sewing and fucking hell, why are the so goddamn sharp? You could poke out an eye.

She absolutely enjoys her puns and makes her own back.

When Alastor returned though she sort of disappeared for a couple weeks and you didn’t know where until you saw the commercial and all worry that she’d died in the extermination was gone.

Going to visit her was an interesting time though.

Everyone was shocked that she actually had friends outside of people contracted by Alastor or the radio demon himself.

Alastor welcomed you with gusto and complimented you taste in music but kept a wary eye on you.

He was the only one who knew about you because Niffty rambled ninety to nothing about everything that happened while he was gone to him as soon as he was back. However, he was cautious because he is very protective of his girls.

The hostility eventually dies down though Alastor is very good at hiding it when he wants to so maybe you didn’t notice and you were welcomed to the Hotel with open arms and smiles.

Niffty grabbed your hand and showed you all of the roach puppets she made immediately.

Idk if you've already answered this question or not but what stems do you apply to Ingo and Emmet (and Elesa if you want to add her)?

Oh I don’t normally get asks, so this has been a verrrrrrry exciting 24 hours!

(I’m assuming you’re asking about stims here btw. If not, feel free to correct me)

I don’t think I have anything particularly ground breaking in terms of stims headcanons tbh. Hand flapping is a must of course, (It’s a stim I didn’t really do much before joining this fandom- nowadays I do jazz hands quite a bit lol!) and I definitely think of Emmet as a pacer. Elesa strikes me as the type to constantly be fiddling with her hair, headphone cords, or any dangly pieces of clothing.

Taking my own stims into consideration, I’d peg Ingo as a hummer. Hums when nervous, hums when he’s thinking, etc. He’s just making passive sound all the time lol. Counting backwards from ten is a good grounding technique- but I could imagine him reciting a memorized Wikipedia article under his breath when he needs to keep calm as well.

I bet Emmet’s stims are more physical though! Finger drumming, rocking, shifting from foot to foot- I can’t imagine this boy sitting still! Walks with a pep in his step and with swinging arms of course! A real delight to be around :D
