#WeekendRecap||#PTDontheMOVE Saturday I attended a super dope event, #Straighttofeet curated by @incorpherated. It was so inspiring seeing women who are moving and shaking in the #sneakerhead industry. This is one event that will be one of my top three events of 2017. I appreciate all the panelist and @incorpherated for putting on such an amazing event. I always see some amazing artist in the #MTA train stations. Saturday nite this man blew me away at the 14th street L train. One man show had me partying with my girls. It wasn’t until @curvecrushin told me what the hell this song was about.. First of all she said it’s a sad song😩 and then she said it’s about slavery and how the master was abusive to the girl. I was livid that she let me party in the subway to such a sad song. Wtf 😡 Sad or not, he was rocking the station. #PTDontheMOVE: #IDDC Must Love Beards NYC (RECAP)

Let me start off by saying from this day forth, " I will travel state-to state for #IDONTDOCLUBS #MUSTLOVEBEARD Events".

Take all my money...

 Now that I got that out of the way on Saturday I headed over to Stage48 for #IDONTDOCLUBS, #MUSTLOVEBEARDS NYC EVENT. This was my first time attending one of Genese events and I went Solo.  I was kind of nervous cause the goal was to take pictures of men for @HustlaInKicks.

Upon arrival, I noticed the lines were separated for men and women.

The ladies line was damn near around the corner.

I'm mad dramatic, I was in line for less than five minutes but it felt like six days. By no means am I complaining about the fellas just walking in because that meant the eye candy was going to be poppin'. 

Now let me be mad honest, I'm a huge skeptic towards DJ's I've never heard of.  I walked into the second floor expecting the worse. To my surprise, I barely got my jacket off cause I immediately started partying.   @djmarztv had the 1st and 2nd floor jumping with trap, Hip-Hop, and a lil' RnB. You think I'm lying? (See Below)

Remeber, I'm working so I can't turn all the way up. I'm trying to capture photos of these beautiful men for #HustlaInKicks.

I had to find coat check which happened to be on the same floor where @djcommish was spinning soca and reggae. Why would they put the coat check on that floor? You can't tell me I'm not a dancehall queen. I couldn't even check my coat without giving a mean whine up on my imaginary dance partner.

  I was so caught up in the moment I checked my heels too. 

Did I mention the heat yet? Chile, it was madddd hot throughout the club. I'm convinced the 3rd Floor had a heat wave. The island massive represented and even the yankees' kept up. Big Soca tunes were played. You can't tell me I wasn't at Carnival. 

Let's get into the real part of the night.

The MEN...The BEARDS and The GQ fly brothers.

Now you read how I started this recap out, right? I truly will support all of #IDDC events without question moving forward. The men that attended...Hold up, we know the brothers from #NYC always represent, right? Well, multiply that times five. The brothers not only showed up BUT SHOWED OUT!! ONE WORD for them,-F-I-O-N-E. I know Genese didn't hire the security for the night BUT they were F-I-O-N-E as hell too. Whatever ya flavor it was represented on Saturday. oh and guess what? All of the brothers were dancing as well.

Yup, nobody was too cute to bust a sweat. 

You know the ladies represented in full force.  The brothers actually outnumbered us. Yup, ladies you missed out. To think, we are in Preseason Workouts for Cuffin' season. Time is winding down. 

For the record, Being solo wasn't bad. The ladies and gents kept me company for most of the night.
