It comes as a bit of a surprise to Greg just how nice Lady Heather's club is. Granted, he's it's not like he's ever been to a fetish club before this, but the image such a thing conjures up is always grimy and grotesque. He never expected to be this, well, cozy, either. Maybe it's specifically the room Gil procured for them that's this homey, Greg can't be completely sure.

Nick's shoulders and knees are well past the point of soreness and a gentle numbness is taking over. He knows it'll help him hold the position, along with the belt wrapped around his wrists behind his back, but it'll definitely take a hot minute to bring feeling back to when he's allowed to move again.

The hand moving through his hair is gentle, but he knows full well it's not for him.

Nicky had messed up royally. He'd gotten too attached to a case and he almost ruined their chance at nailing the suspect because of it. Sure, this punishment might not be official, but it's close enough, given the fact he's underneath Grissom's desk on his day off.

Truthfully, the one he'd messed it up for the most was Grissom, and he's the one he owes the apology to the most. He'd cleaned up Nick's mess and is the reason he still has a job.

So, even if it's been hours on his knees, maintaining this position, it's the least he could do to serve as penance.

oh! general robotics/engineering people too, if you know any? i can only find like swe's here. i know about gender-trash, but that's about it.

i think @/andmaybegayer does some hardware-y stuff but not sure about their actually job? my friend @/hurricanewindattack is an ME now into nuclear stuff.

tbh idk very many engineers on tumblr in general, probably bc im mostly not posting a lot of content abt that. i think this addresses your other question in part, but especially in india many engineers are an elite class that graduate directly into jobs that put them into the 1% and that sort of sets the tone for what politics they tend to have.
