Apparently, I wrote this in 2017. Found it in my old writing folders. I cannot rap, but supposedly, Gamzee can't either. ("You both then proceed to have one of the worst rap-offs in the history of paradox space." - Actual Homestuck quote about Gamzee and Tavros rapping.)

do you think gamtav would've worked out or else ended up poorly with time? cuz lets say gamzee didnt get rejected or tavros' feelings didn't get left unclear

It probably could have worked if Tavros would go through an arc on being able to handle confrontation, both good and bad kinds. That he can try to figure out how to deal with things if it doesn't go the way he wanted. I also think if Karkat couldn't be the one to help pacify Gamzee when he found out about his religion being fake and spiraling into Caliborn/LE's influence, then it would be great that it would be Tavros who helps pull him out from it. Tavros can help Gamzee too on these sudden revelations about himself and what he believed in. Maybe in a sense of him being a Breath player, not only Tavros is free to finally being able to handle confrontation, but also free Gamzee from becoming part of LE, breaking free from that kind of fate.

lmao I'm not just about incest, I love all men in any scenario! but this pairing right here, was my OTP back a decade ago, specifically sub tavros included. THEY ARE LITERALLY THE GIRLFRIENDS EVER. i am so attached to this ship and i am so attached to kanaya (one of my top 10 most cried over Homestuck characters genuinely). i love rosemary shenanigans. i love how utterly perfect they are for each other i love how they interact and how they banter and how they talk and how kanaya is quite possibly the most disastrously slightly awkward sweetheart whenever it comes to rose. ALSO THEY'RE BOTH SO SILLY?? like yes they are also sophisticated ladies tm but they get up to their fair share of goofery and being total dorks and i think we as a society need to appreciate that.

it's quite possibly the Most Canon Ship in all of homestuck proper, and one of the least controversial ones as well(although i have sensed a vriskan uprising in the fandom lately so perhaps there will be war. who's to say./j). but like yeah. rosemary is fantastic. no notes. also, the epilogues make me sad. extremely extremely sad and also upset.

EDIT I FORGOT YOUR SECOND QUESTION: the answer is yes probably as long as its homestuck related my urge to draw it is nigh unbeatable. so if any of yall have fantrolls/fankids .... :333
