After the elf incident, William and Patry lived in separate bodies. Patry and his friends went off to Elysia, a place above the heart kingdom. William had to stay and atone for what happened. Soon, William finally managed to get a break. He wanted to visit the person who shared a body with him for all those years, and he wanted to see his face again. After a lengthy trip, he makes it to Elysia.

 

“Hello, Patry…” William calls to him with a smile. Patry goes up to him and holds both his hands excitedly. 

“William…! It’s been so long…” Patry chuckles, feeling tempted to hug him. 

“Do you want to take a walk together?” Patry asks, still holding William’s hands. He nods and Patry lets go of one of his hands and begins to walk down a trail. They observe the scenery together as they continue walking. They then sit down in a clearing. 

William looks at Patry, holding his hand tighter. He notices the sweet expression in his lavender eyes. 

“You know… we’ve known each other for a long time,” Patry starts. 

“Ever since I could remember… you’ve been with me… you’re the reason why I survived my childhood… I wanted to make it for you,” William admits. Patry blushes a little at William’s comment. 

“I would do everything over again, if i knew you would be here with me,” Patry sighs, rubbing William’s hand. He wraps his arms around Patry and buries his head in his neck. 

“I love you… with all my heart…” William admits, pulling him closer to him and softly kissing his neck and face. Patry lets out a shaky sigh, noticing how he’s been touch-starved lately. 

“I love you too, dearest…” he mumbles, hugging William tightly. Patry lays back, still holding him. William comfortably lays on top of Patry, gently raking his fingers through his long hair. The grass under them is surprisingly soft. They lay together in silence, taking in each other’s warmth. Patry can’t keep his eyes off William, and he notices.

“Sorry… You just look so breathtaking, William,” he whispers, pecking him on the forehead. He then kisses the border of his scars, noting how William looks even more beautiful in this lighting. He kisses him back, showing affection to the elven marks on his face. William loves his soft smile. 

“I’m so glad I can be here with you,” William mumbles, his eyes half shut. He notices how he feels tired after the long trip. William buries his face in Patry’s neck.

“I love you, Patry,” he murmurs before falling asleep in his arms. Patry looks up at the sky above them for a few moments.

“I love you, too, dear…” He sighs, drifting off to sleep with him.

thinkin about how after zagred was defeated and the elf souls were released, patry finally calmed down enough to call it a day on his mania, but i feel like that shit has terms and conditions, like homeboy planned an invasion AND a genocide and he wasnt plannin on showing any mercy, but he DID chill out in the end and cried a lil and even gotta hug but like... he’s still batshit yo. how he finna deal when he finds out billiam got beat up and kidnapped by a human with a demon familiar? and snatched like a damsel at that!? ol patry boutta roll up on spade like
