Professor Shiro Tsukihane of the SinKanJoHenn Conglomerate of Schools is Preparing to launch a deep excavation and study of some previously undiscovered ruins along the waterway between Slateport and Pacifilodge.

Professor Shiro, Shockingly young at only 20 years old, Reveals that the ruins have remained undiscovered for so long due to strong rapids that flow through the area, long since only passable via the ferry from Slateport to Lilycove.

"Normally, A dig like this would be impossible to do without disturbing the wildlife around it. However, thanks to the explorer submarine graciously donated by Dock of the Slateport shipyard, We're able to go in without causing any negative effects on the native Flora and Fauna." Shiro was Quoted when we interviewed him earlier this day.
