“Chúng tôi đã trải qua giai đoạn tập huấn thành công,” Yasser Al-Misehal, người đứng đầu Liên đoàn bóng đá Saudi Arabia (SAFF) cho biết với Arab News, sau khi đội tuyển đã trải qua 3 tuần tập luyện và thi đấu giao hữu quốc tế tại Abu Dhabi (UAE) để chuẩn bị cho World Cup 2022.

Ở giai đoạn, đội bóng có biệt danh Chim ưng xanh đã thi đấu 5 trận giao hữu với thành tích bất bại: Thắng Bắc Macedonia 1-0, hòa Albani 1-1, hòa Honduras 0-0, thắng Iceland 1-0 và hòa Panama 1-1. Tính luôn cả 2 trận giao hữu trong tháng 9 (hòa Mỹ và Ecuador cùng tỉ số 0-0), tuyển Saudi Arabia đã có chuỗi 7 trận liên tiếp bất bại.

Đối thủ của tuyển Saudi Arabia có thể không sử dụng hết sức mạnh bởi không có lực lượng tối ưu, nhưng việc chỉ để thủng lưới 2 bàn sau 5 trận gần nhất và 4 bàn trong 9 trận từ tháng 6.2022, chứng tỏ huấn luyện viên Herve Renard đã làm việc hiệu quả, để biến đội bóng của ông trở thành đối thủ khó bị đánh bại.

Owais Qarni and his love for Prophet

Owais Qarni’s is a story that sets an example for all the Muslims as how even without meeting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), one may still earn Allah’s favor and His pleasure, on account of his unflinching love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Owais Qarni (may Allah bless him) could never meet the Prophet (peace be upon him) in person, but he is arguably the only person in Islamic history who is said to have been accorded the status of sahabi (companion) by none other than Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself. (To be a companion, it required the criterion of meeting the Prophet while having faith.)

Imam Muslim named one full chapter in his one of the most reliable tomes of Hadith in Qarni’s name: “The Virtues of Owais Qarni” in Sahih Muslim. It records a Hadith quoting Umar ibn Al-Khattab, who said: “I heard Allah’s Messenger, peace be upon him, saying: ‘There would come to you Owais b. Amir, of Qarn, a branch of the Murid tribe, along with the reinforcement of the people of Yemen. He had been suffering from leprosy which would have been cured but for the space of a dirham. His treatment with his mother would have been very kind. If he would take an oath in the name of Allah (for something), He would honor it. Ask him to beg forgiveness for you (from Allah) in case it is possible for you.”

Qarni was born in Asir region of Saudi Arabia, 594CE. His father, Aamir, was a God-fearing person. He gave Islamic education to his son but died leaving Owais an orphan at a young age. The family was poor and could not afford higher education for him. He devoted him to praying, fasting and service to his mother. Owais had profound love for Islam and its Messenger. Owais learned that there is a great reward in Islam for serving parents. His mother was sick and blind. So he devoted himself solely to the service of his mother. He was 28 years of age when Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) had migrated to Madinah Munawwarah. He had a keen desire to visit him, but was preoccupied with the service of his sick mother. Yet he would keep a tab on the developments in Hijaz.

When he heard about the sad news of the Battle of Ohud (625CE), when a tooth of the Prophet was martyred, Qarni out of love for him, broke all his teeth. Thus was his love for the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) knew about Qarni and his love for him. He once told Omar ibn Khattab about Qarni and had predicted that Omar would meet Qarni after his (the Prophet’s) departure from the world. He gave all the details about him and advised him to seek prayers for his forgiveness and for the whole Ummah. The companions asked if they could see him but the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: “No, only Omar bin Khattab and Ali would meet him,” and gave identity marks of Qarni. He directed Omar and Ali: “When you see him, convey to him my salaam and ask him to pray for my Ummah.”

During Prophet (peace be upon him)’s last days, he asked Omar and Ali to pass his Jubba (the blessed cloak) to Qarni and ask him to pray for the forgiveness of the Muslim Ummah. This demonstrates the exalted status of Qarni. Qarni, the Prophet is said to have remarked, is the best among tabeiin, (second generation of the companions). Qarni rubbed the blessed cloak over his face and eyes, and kissed it, when he finally received it. The blessed cloak, it is said, is preserved in Istanbul, Turkey. Referring to Qarni, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) once told his companions: “There is a person in my Ummah whose prayers would bring forgiveness to as many sinners as the number of the sheep in the tribes of Rabia and Mudar.”

The two tribes of Rabia and Mudar were well known for raising sheep during the time of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). Usair bin Jabir reported that when people from Yemen came to help (the Muslim army during battle), Caliph Omar would ask them: “Is there among you Owais bin Amir? (He continued finding him out) until he met Qarni. He told him the saying of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) about him and asked him for his prayer and said: “Where do you intend to go?

He said: To Kufa. Umar said: Let me write a letter for you to its governor, But Owais said: I love to live among the poor people.

Umar was impressed with his simple personality and asked Owais Qarni to pray for him. He replied, “I pray for the forgiveness of everyone at the end of every prayer. If you keep your faith in Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), you will receive my prayers in your graves.”Here is the famous invocation of Owais Qarni: “O Allah, You created me when I was not worthy of mention; And You provided for me when I had nothing; And I wronged my soul and sinned, and I confess my guilt. If You forgive me, that will in no way reduce Your sovereignty; And if You punish me, that will in no way augment Your authority. You can find others to punish besides me, But I can find no one to forgive me but You. Truly, You are the most Merciful of those who show mercy. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Owais will come to Madinah to meet me, but he will not find me physically, for I shall then be united with my Lord.”

When the people in Qarn began revering him and considering him a saint, on account of his status in Islam, he left Qarn for Kufa where he engaged in imparting Islamic education. Later, he took part in the unfortunate Battle of Siffin (37AH) where he was fatally wounded, subsequently dying at the age of 63. He was buried at Al-Raqqah, Syria. A grand Aal-Zaria Mosque as Jaame Owais Qarni stands at Qarn in Asir region and another Owais Qarni Mosque in Ilford UK. The love of the Holy Prophet is the boon that can be achieved without meeting him. This opens the door for millions of Muslims living in different areas and eras of the world. The life of Owais Qarni encourages us to love Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) though we have not seen him and to get higher ranks as got by Owais.

Arriyadiyah cũng nhắc thêm về thứ hạng giữa hai đội trên bảng xếp hạng FIFA. Ở thời điểm hiện tại, Saudi Arabia đang đứng hạng 61, còn Việt Nam hạng 92.

Trong một bài viết khác, Arriyadiyah đưa ra chi tiết đáng chú ý rằng trong 31 năm qua, Saudi Arabia chưa từng thua ở trận đầu tiên của vòng loại cuối cùng, một thống kê đáng lo ngại với thầy trò HLV Park Hang Seo.

Hz Abdul Qadeer Awan (Mz) - Spiritual Teacher

His Eminence Hadhrat Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan (May his blessings remain forever) is the present Shaikh of the Silsilah Naqshbandiah Owaisiah. He was chosen by Hadhrat Ameer Muhammad Akram Awan-rua as his successor and Shaikh-e Silsilah. Previous to his succession, Hadhrat Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan served as the Nizam-e ‘Aala of the Silsilah and the Head of Al-Ikhwan and Al-Ikhwat, the Brother/Sisterhood of the Silsilah.

Shaikh Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan was born on 26 March 1973, in Munarah, District Chakwal, Pakistan. He received his initial education at the Siqarah Academy, Dar ul Irfan, and his higher education at Siqarah College, Lahore.

The son and the most illustrious student of His Eminence Hadhrat Ameer Muhammad Akram Awan-rua, one of the exceptionally distinguished Sufi Masha’ikh of our times, Hadhrat Abdul Qadeer Awan spent 44 years in his exalted father’s company from whom he directly acquired religious knowledge and received spiritual training, and who transformed him into an accomplished Sufi and nominated him as the Successor-Shaikh of the Silsilah Naqshbandiah Owaisiah.

In an Owaisiah Silsilah, physical presence of a Salik (seeker) before his Shaikh is not essentially required for transfer of Faidh (spiritual beneficence). He receives the blessings of his Shaikh in the same manner in which Hadhrat Owais Qarni-rua had received the Prophetic blessings without ever meeting the Holy Prophet-saws. 

The Naqshbandiah Owaisiah Silsilah is distinct for initiating a seeker directly onto Zikr-e Qalbi (Zikr within the heart). A unique distinction of this Silsilah is that, after illuminating the Lata’if of the seeker and conducting him to the various stages of the Path, the Shaikh finally conducts him to the Court of the Holy Prophet-saws for a Spiritual Bai’at. The seeker can attain the highest stations of the Sufi Path, according to his capacity and effort, under his Shaikh’s Tawajjuh (Attention) and guidance.

Hadhrat Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan delivers daily lectures during the forty-day spiritual retreat, the Annual Ijtema, held every summer at Dar ul Irfan, the Markaz of the Silsilah, which is attended by the Ahbab from all over the world. The primary focus of these lectures is the spiritual education of the students, but they also cover a wide range of other topics related to the Deen. Similarly the ten-day I’tikaf Ijtema at the end of Ramadhan, the monthly Ijtema and his weekly Friday sermons are a source of immense spiritual knowledge that guides the seekers in their spiritual education and progress.

Hadhrat Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan is the Dean of the Siqarah Academy. This Academy employs a system of education that integrates both religious and standard academic syllabi thereby enabling its students to not only excel at the academic level but to also become exemplary and enlightened Muslims. He holds the distinction of being among its first students.

As the Patron of the Al-Falah Foundation he oversees the provision of humanitarian support to people in the rural, urban and disaster-affected areas of Pakistan.

Since 2010 Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan has been undertaking international tours to carry forward the mission of Tazkiyah-e-Nafs (purification of one’s inner self) assigned to him by his beloved father and illustrious Shaikh. His annual itinerary includes frequent travels abroad to Europe, America and the Middle East, as well as local travels within Pakistan. He reaches out to his students continuously to guide them in their quest for spiritual awareness and conducts Zikr sessions over the Internet every day. He responds to the Seeker’s queries through email and is also available to those who come to visit him daily at his office.

Along with his busy schedule, he retains ties to his writing commitments. He is the Patron and the Editor–in chief of the monthly journal ‘Almurshid’ and authors its monthly editorial.

Hadhrat Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan’s mission is to further the cause of True Deen and to instil truth, sincerity and loyalty in one’s relationship with Allah-swt and His Holy Prophet-saws. He confers special attention to character building of the youth. Following in the footsteps of his honourable father and beloved Shaikh, Hadhrat Ameer Abdul Qadeer Awan is making a definite and positive contribution for the betterment of the society as a whole.

Balotelli's first international goal in four years sees Italy beat Saudi Arabia

Mario Balotelli scored as Roberto Mancini made a winning start as Italy boss against Saudi Arabia.

Former Manchester City and Liverpool forward Balotelli marked his first international appearance for four years with a superb solo goal.

Andrea Belotti put away a loose ball for Italy’s second before Yahya Al Shehri pulled one back for World Cup-bound Saudi Arabia.

Ex-Man City boss Mancini was appointed head coach earlier this month.

The 53-year-old, who led City to their first Premier League title in 2012, took over after Gian Piero Ventura was sacked following Italy’s failure to qualify for the World Cup.

Saudi Arabia will be in Russia though and face the hosts in the competition’s opening game in Moscow on 14 June, before going on to play Uruguay and Egypt in Group A.

Balotelli, 27, who plays for French club Nice, had not featured for Italy since the 2014 World Cup, where he scored in the 2-1 group-stage win over England.

But his international career could be revitalised under Mancini, for whom he played under during his three-year spell at City.

He jinked past a Saudi defender on the edge of the area before firing home the opener from 20 yards.

It was Italy’s first match since Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon announced he would no longer play for the national side[1] after 176 appearances.

But his young replacement Gianluigi Donnarumma could do little to prevent Saudi Arabia’s late consolation as he was left stranded when Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta gave away the ball to allow Al Shehri to score.
