🌻Introducing, Helianthus! But you can call him Helian •:) My darling, sun boy whom I love dearly...

He's a modern Nomai (but not one from the far future/in-game present day. Just far enough in the future that Escall's clan became a legend), and member of Robur's clan.

He has a sunny personality, very warm and gentle, and cares deeply for his loved ones and his clan. While he studies entomology, Helian's other interests consist of music and cooking or baking! As feeding his clanmates when possible is his way of showing he cares!

More of his backstory under the cut :D

The Accident refers to an incident where the clan's Vessel had messed up their warp, resulting in them being spat out in an asteroid field, heavily damaging the Vessel.

Helian was only a toddler during the time of this event, having to evacuate to the Vessel's escape pods with his parents, Soleiro and Gladiolus. However, during the evacuation, Helian had tripped over and fell, and Gladiolus went to help him up.

Unfortunately, the asteroid strikes caused the integrity of the Vessel to diminish greatly and Gladiolus sacrificed himself to save Helian from getting crushed by the rubble. Only Helian and Soleiro survived, out of the three.

Helian deals with a lot of grief and guilt from the ordeal, having only the charm that Gladiolus wore to remember him by. With the help and support of his fellow clan members, and the Nomai who assisted the clan, Helian would one day find it in him to realize that what happened wasn't his fault and relieve himself of the guilt.

actually the thing that hurts me most about the nomai is that they're not like owlks where everything's preserved. they're all skeletons and their beds are reduced to frames and we only know what their spacesuits looked like. almost nothing is left. their buildings could have originally been neon pink for all we know. like. man
