To begin, a picture from my first real hike!!
I remember being amazed by the sights, and I fell in love with the sport immediately. I’ve since honed my photographic skills and the trails I do are much more difficult than they were... Yet this forest is still one of my favourites, and I find myself gravitating to it whenever I’m itching for a hike. They say you never forget your first, don’t they ;))

Enjoy these photos of the Quebec countryside 💓💓
The first six were taken on 30/05 from the area around the La Mauricie National Park, and the last two are dated 27/05 near the Regional Park Forest Ouareau.
I know some of you wanted to see the photos I took while camping and these are most of them 😂 so, @ritchieblackless @wearinandtearin @alinelovelace @boogiewuhmun , here ya go :)

My first backpacking trip. Just me and my two older boys 14 and 12. 3 days 2 nights and 30km of hiking in the Ouareau forest Quebec Canada. Insane amount of bugs and rain but worth it. We had both campsites to ourselves. This is the view from the first one.
